    I'm not sure why anyone would want to make sure to cement a vote on the first day like that tbh. Unless I missed something in the rules (correct me if I'm wrong), I don't think think there's any way for a pirate to KNOW that someone is on team Humperdink... I think blue is for RL? Anyway, I was playing in an ultimate tournament all day yesterday and today, hence my relative inactivity. Should be considerably more active from here on out.

    I've been lurking through a few of these games and with The Princess Bride involved, how can I resist finally joining one? We'll keep it simple and just call me Rath for this one. Edit: Rules clarification - can you poison both cups with iocaine powder to commit suicide? (and guarantee a kill if you're the preparer?)

    Hmm, interesting twist. There have been threads addressing this type of war before, but I don't think anyone has brought up perpendicularities as part of the fight. Era 1 Battle Era 2 Battle Personally, I really want to root for Roshar, but I don't think there has been any situation (era/technology/magic users/etc) so far where Roshar could defeat Scadrial.

    I didn't think I'd seen anything about that... I actually was thinking of this quote when I (somewhat jokingly) came up with this (pulled from The Coppermind): "I've abandoned my real name.     What if HOID was telling us his goal all along? HOID is actually an acronym - Hello Odium, I'm Death. HOID's intent is to kill Odium! (Expect any of my theories to be as absurd as this one...unless it's correct?!)

    Although I struggled with it the first time I tried reading it, I'm a huge fan of Warbreaker, but Wax and Wayne tend to be who I'm most excited to read about. So, I think I'll go Mistborn Era 2 for series, Warbreaker for book. Although I have a feeling SA is going to eclipse them soon.

    Long-time lurker (been following along for a couple years) Short-time member First-time poster Doubt I'll post too much, but just wanted to say I get a lot of enjoyment out of reading the theories, facts, and general craziness here. No cookies for me, I'm on a diet.
