  1. Thank you, I do the same thing so it is very cool to hear other peoples ideas
  2. You can't just stop their, TELL US!!!!!!!
  3. Shardbearer doesn't have enhanced senses and you can't poop on your own But i would be a surgebinder, preferably skybreaker or windrunner
  4. Also, it would make more sense for him to turn into a full Mistborn rather than having several misting's abilities
  5. Ok, but do you think that the Mistborn in this chapter is Hoid?
  6. But it does seem as if Brandon's quote is in reference to this character right?
  7. I got DustBringer and when I look at the reasoning I am quite happy with it despite never thinking that I fir in this catagory. Great job here
  8. While delving through this site i have seen a few times that people believe that Hoid used the bead of Lerasium with other metals in order to make himself a misting. However I believe that I have proof that he used the bead to become a full Mistborn. Before I go into this, my proof is based on Brandon Sanderson replying to this question. I'm pretty sure Slowswift is Hoid in Hero of Ages. The Ars Arcanum says he "bears a striking resemblance to a storyteller", which I take to mean Hoid. Hoid appears in that same chapter, but Vin doesn't meet him. Something he does spooks her. She's just too darn observant for her own good. Here is where I got it from If you go back and read chapter 27 in Hero of Ages, you will see that after Vin leaves Slowswifts's manor, she is followed by a Mistborn that suddenly disappears and she believes to be the Mistspirit, but because it is burning Steel distinctly, and the Mistspirit has a random beat when she burns bronze, we can assume it isn't the Mistspirit. I don't think we ever found out the identity of the Mistborn which leads me to believe that this was indeed Hoid. But why this confirms that Hoid was a Mistborn as opposed to a misting. Hoid was definetly burning Copper here but Vin was still able to pick up on his Burning. However, if he was planning to become a Misting why would he choose Copper as an ability. It would only be useful on Scadrial so I don't think that Hoid would waste his time on picking up this ability. Please comment what you think of this theory.
  9. I subscribed to his newsletter and got a White Sands draft, is this that one? Also, how would I go about contacting him?
  10. Is it possible to find any of his unpublished works online?
  11. Its not available anymore is it
  12. Wait, people have read DragonSteel?
  13. I've seen Yolish Lighweaving mentioned many times but I have no idea what it is from, did I just miss it?
  14. When re-reading the original Mistborn trilogy, I noticed something odd. Over the 1000 some years that the Lord Ruler had control over the Final empire, the Keepers still had the full range of Feruchemical powers. Then it was all or nothing, while for Allomancers, Mistings appeared within a few generations. Not only that, but Feruchemists have existed since way before the Final Empire and only in the second trilogy have ferrings existed. Is there a real reason for this?
  15. But the scarcity of ferrings and mistings will increase as the bloodline is spread
  16. Yeah, the gene pool would have degraded even further so there has to be a new wave of allomancers/feruchemists or some other method of reintroducing allomancy/feruchemy into the bloodline
  17. Wow, an upvote and a cookie! Now I just need the next Mistborn and I'll be happy
  18. Would make sense about how every year there is a period where there are no highstorms and it is so dependable. This theory has some great merits but I don't know about it to give great insight but it seems valid
  19. Hello from Cole I have been on 17th shard for a month or two now. I have asked a lot of questions but never really made anything of my own. Now that I've began my first real theory, I decided to say high to everyone. I've read every Cosmere book, Alcatraz vs. The evil Librarians, The Reckoners, and The Rithmatist. I have loved every one of them and I can't wait for Oathbringer. I really have no friends who read Sanderson but I am getting some hooked so I have more people to talk to about it. I'm glad to meet so many people who share my passion That's all I guess...
  20. Umm, in alloy of law wax taps all of his masterminds instantaneusly, the filling has lost most because you can only be so weak, or so light before it becomes a hazard. The whole advantage that feruchemy has over allomancy s that you can use all of it at once.
  21. But how could they have known?
