  1. @Tesh I literally just read “I am not sick” as “I am not a stick”. When you share all the tragic flaws as all of Sanderson’s characters...
  2. When your math teacher is reading Mistborn and you accidentally name drop ‘Cosmere’ and he’s clueless...
  3. So... I’m doing a re-read of Warbreaker, and this thought came to my head. When awakening, can you lose breaths? To add some clarity, I’m asking that when you awaken something and retrieve your breaths afterwards, can you possibly lose some? Ex. You awaken a rope. It takes 50 breaths, you only retrieve 35 because some was ‘used up’. The book always says you get all of them back, but I’m just asking if it’s possible. (And as a smaller question, do non-Nalthians have Breath?)
  4. Depending on what bubble it is, the results will be different. Either way, the person inside the bubble will drown at the same rate as they normally would from their point of view. In a Bendalloy bubble, anyone viewing the bubble from outside would see a librarian dying unusually fast. Opposite for cadmium. As for an educator’s lens, the librarian would just experience their watery (or in this case, beady) demise half as fast.
  5. When you realize your name is perfectly symmetrical, just like a good Vorin.
  6. Could you store weight in the metalmind, then drop the metalmind and remain weightless?
  7. When storing weight in an ironmind, are you limited to your body? Or can you store the weight of your clothing and metalminds as well?
  8. (This is before finishing OB so I don’t know how it’s gonna turn out) Vin And Elend were absolutely amazing, I just loved how their personalities contradicted and complimented each other. In second, (don’t judge me) I’d have to say Kaladin and Shallan, or Veil and Kaladin. Syl notices how Kaladin needs someone and thinks that Shallan’s the logical choice. As for non romantic, Lift and Wyndle. The funniest relationship ever. Edit: Just finished. Never mind...
  9. Granted, though you are plagued as the rest of us writers are with writer’s block and never actually sitting down to write. I wish writer’s block was non-existent.
  10. I think that Skybreakers could not. Even though the gravitation and adhesion resonance is called “strength of squires”, I think a reverse lashing is a minor resonance of the two. So in short, most likely not.
  11. Granted, but you have no jurisdiction over what hats they are, and they occasionally disappear, leaving another in their place. I wish to be able to set anything on fire at will.
  12. Granted, but you have extremely bad memory loss, causing you to lose your cosmere awareness, and knowledge of your friends and family. I call upon the powers of the nightwatcher to grant me this boon: I wish to be a fullborn with fully filled metalminds along with multiple vials.
  13. Just to tack another question on here... Is aluminum actually invested? If not, why is it so resistant to investiture?
  14. Is Azure’s blade actually a shardblade? It doesn’t seem to act normal, due to the nature that it is unable to be dismissed and it’s strange size. I’ve come to think that it’s an awakened sword, due to Azure being Vivenna. If it is awakened, what command do you think it has? Is it sentient?
  15. Granted, though the internet becomes overrun by trolls and spammers, causing it to be shut down. I wish I could draw working Aons extremely quickly.
  16. I was honestly just bored in seminary (religious studies) in school one day, so I started looking up random stuff in the Bible Dictionary. I found Apollyon, which is apparently translated from Greek to mean ‘destruction’ which is a plus. It’s also used as the title for the ‘angel of the abyss’ which sounds cool, and the abyss is a very central idea to my books.
  17. Would it violate your policy for you to show me some of your previous... er... deeds? I’d like to judge the quality of your actions before hiring myself.
  18. I assume you're referring to Lerasium and Atium, so; no, Brandon specifically mentioned that he wanted Atium to be an oddball, not matching it's counterpart. Right here:
  19. I'm afraid that a Mistborn would not be able to burn other physical essences, after all, Allomancy is the magical art of Preservation, not of any other shard. It would almost like burning Tears of Edgli as Endownments physical representation, it just wouldn't work.
  20. My talent would definitely be making continuity issues. Not only in my stories but in real life as well. “So your father was killed when you were 6?” “No! What are you talking about dad?”
  21. I am sorry to inform all of us sharders, but the dog has won. The storm father has lost. But we did make a sizable dent in their side in those 3 days.
  22. Welcome to the shard Exerxes! Most of the time, he is sadly unrecognizable except by name. He does have an appearance in all the cosmere books, and likes to make jokes at others expense. Occasionally you'll find something from his viewpoint though.
  23. Spoiler for length:
  24. @John203 I'll see what I can do to help.
  25. Those Stormwardens never get the weather right...
