    Shallan is not a Davar. Pattern came to her when she was very young. Pattern is attracted by lies, therefor Shallan would have to have crafted a pretty severe lie. I believe the 'Shallan Davar' identity was created when she joined the Davar family. I was never comfortable with her 'mother' choosing to kill her just because she was a surgebinder. I believe Shallan somehow merged the image of her birth mother with that of the Davar matriarch. Where did she came from then? The Ghostbloods. My theory is that they gave her to Lin Davar because of her red hair and that Lin was part Horneater. Mraize's comment that Shallan's family had long been involved with the Ghostbloods might not mean the Davars but her actually family. I got the distinct impression that Mraizes treatment of her changed when he found out that she was Shallan. Could she be related to Thaidakar somehow? What do you think?

    My understanding is that spren, other than perhaps the Unmade (before they were 'Un'), did not communicate with the Listeners. Did they began 'speaking' right after they bonded human or after Ishar place the oaths on the surgebinders. Whether or not spren began to communicate right after the emergence of surgebinders, how was their relationship with their 'person'?

    Was the everstorm crafted to restore the listeners ability to sprenbond or does it have other purpose?

    I guess that would depend when the Ghostbloods took them. Ghostbloods probably took them when the war was still active and they were probably sent to 'safety' but not necessarily towards the Shattered Plains. Mraize discovered Veil's identity during the march towards Narak and the order to move Shallan's brothers would have been sent after their confrontation in Urithiru.

    Kaladins around northern Alethkar near Kholinar, the Davars would just cut through southern Alethkar to get to the Shattered Plains.

    The listeners are being lead to Alethkar by yellow spren (stoneward sprens?). Last definite sighting of the Herald of War was at Alethkar. Could it be Taln's doing?

    I'm surprised that Shallan told Adolin of her adventure.

    I don't think Eshonai is going to be a Willshaper considering their divine essence is Resolute and Builder.

    Therefore my theory is that she's got two distinct personalities, the 'young' shallan we never knew and the 'current' Shallan who we are following. This may also be tied to how Adolin awakens his blade.
