  1. Oh...darn. I hadn’t finished compiling my vote tally before Snipexe posted, please ignore mine. I do think my tone sounds very elim-y, and the RP is very story-based rather than game-based—but basically it pointed at the massive voting push that started about two hours ago.
  2. I’m going to put a vote tally from the time that Alv posted one until I posted this one. Xino: Rae, —Devotary—, —Eternum—, —Snipexe— Arinian: Drought, Eternum, Rae, Devotary, Young Bard —Rae—: Drought Young Bard: Snipexe So Xino got and lost four votes, and Arinian got five and still has them. Bard Arinian. This smells of hammering and I’m gonna stop it before we get more info. Feel free to lynch me if he turns out elim. Also feel free to question my motives for voting on Arinian, when I say he’s probably innocent. See ya all next cycle... Here’s some RP if I put it up before rollover or someone else posts; should take about two minutes ————————— Nelden sat at the campfire circle. It wasn’t burning, which was why Nelden called it “the campfire circle” rather than “the campfire.” The others had been giving their suspicions, voicing them quickly and changing their opinions just as quickly. While he enjoyed puzzling through their intents, Nelden did not like that such arguments were being given in decision of whether to end a life. He stood up. Nelden waved his hands in the air with a flourish, as if he were starting to conduct—and dropped them to his waist in embarrassment. This was not the orchestra from the past. This was the angry, death-y troupe trapped in fae forests. ”Ahem,” Nelden began. “I have a riddle for you. How do we know to tell who is a Cthae? By holly and iron, of course. But no one likes to be forced to touch the materials in turn; we all enjoy intrigue, do we not? Therefore, I have yet another riddle for you—why don’t we just wait a day or two until we have proof? Behavior is a very poor judge of character—these are master charlatans at work here. I hope we settle down and discuss things more slowly, and not in the heat of the moment. Goodnight.”
  3. I have since realized that where I’m going, I will in fact have WiFi and/or service, rather than the info given earlier. I will be able to post.
  4. Hmmm... I will move my vote over to Young Bard for not removing his poke vote. I’m doing this because, seeing as Orlok isn’t a player, I think my current vote doesn’t count. Orlok.
  5. Darn, I realized I’m going to be on hiatus (due to lack of internet connection) starting Thursday and ending Monday. Can I send in a list of votes and/or meta analysis so as to remain active until then? Such as, “Right now I think Drought’s making a roleclaim, which is in response to Snipexe talking about a conversation they had in real life. This role is in fact not what they really are, because of this one mechanic that they gain secrecy for until later.”?
  6. Yeah, I got a Namer message every cycle excluding the beginning of the first. Also, I don't have many reads--actually, I have none. I have slight suspicions, but I'm not going to upgrade those to the status of "read," though I'll share them here. Bard--while being suspicious of me for my posts is a villager thing to do, he may be an elim looking for the next suitable lynch candidate that wouldn't bring suspicion back to him were I cleared in death. I'd say he's a villager, though, because of the long cycle analysis he put out. That's usually a villager thing to do. Of course, the one time I was an eliminator, I didn't do villager things, but other eliminators do, so I dunno about that. Neutral then. Rae--acting very villager-y, and a long-time SE player. This read isn't based on evidence, but more meta-gaming that if Rae were an elim, she's hiding it extremely well. In that case, a villager read until evidence against her comes to light. Village read. Droughtbringer--I'd say villager, 'cause of the analysis he put out. Analysis is always good--though he didn't make any distancing claims on other rp, so I wonder if he's trying to clear himself with analysis. However, as I said earlier, analysis is something both elims and villagers do, so there's no reason (for me, because I don't know how to make analysis of others' posts) to call that alignment indicative. Neutral read. I'm going to put a poke vote on Orlok to see if he's really in the player list, and because I'm not sure if he's an elim in hiding. Also, I really don't want to die due to the inactivity filter. I am willing to die due to votes or the elim kill, though. Those are less in my control.
  7. Welp, I gotta keep voting to keep from dying due to the inactivity filters. Therefore, Wonko due to the claim here. I think the ciphers may be translatable given the info we've got already, like the names of certain characters or roles. However, it's likely that they're more easily translatable using some secrets which I have none of. Has anyone been part of a 1-7 string of clue-sharing? I don't have any reads at the moment; I haven't been very active this cycle, so I'll try to get some analysis done by the end of the cycle so I'll be caught up once the next one starts. See you guys then...
  8. Darn, I didn't mean to start a lynch train...if I was the source. I know I was the first vote, though. Probably. Anyone get a message on the winds?
  9. I was thinking that the cipher was different for each person; thanks for proving me wrong. It appears that either we have to decode this ourselves, or someone of the elims have the key. Or a secret role, like the children--but then, shouldn't the code be in playground script? Anyways, I think I'm going to put a placeholder vote on Steeldancer because he's GMing soon and probably won't want to be busy with both things. I don't have real suspicions yet, but if I do get any, I'll move my vote off of Steel. And @Steeldancer, if you actually don't want to die before your LG, let me know. I'll move my placeholder vote back onto me, and hopefully my vote won't be nullified again. And I can't vote on the GM without some kind of secret role, so no freeing Randuir from simultaneously playing and GM'ing either. ------------------------- Nelden did something interesting, but then he forgot about it. So he had no third-person RP for you today. I probably shouldn't switch around perspectives so much, it's getting Nelden confused. He could lose his conductor stick if he gets too distracted, so I'm gonna stop giving any more sentences to you. But not phrases. Nelden at the campfire, scared about getting killed. Being suspicious about the others, but not able to accuse, Nelden could, at the fire. If the Cthaeh made more blue flames, death. If the Skindancers skindanced, confusion. Coupled with, confusion could cause clandestine colored combustion, cinder-ing citizens--Cthaeh containing copious confidence.
  10. Alright, I seem to have been either targeted by a Jester-Skindancer pair, or I am a Jester myself. Also, we don’t know if the pair targeted me through collusion, or because the Skindancer wanted to scan the Jester. Well, either way, I’m going to share part my message from Rand. I’m not good at decoding letters, but I will keep a bit back. The first five letters of the message are: BHUSZ —————— Nelden sat in his tent, practicing the movements for a quick piece he remembered from back then. When he wasn’t in this forest, wondering when he’d be killed. He saw an orchestra in front of him, watching his fingers and stick to see what they had to do. He saw the horn get dented as someone sneezed and dropped it. He saw the orchestra carry on, despite all hiccups; Nelden left the memory. This troupe would survive the forest. He would make sure of it. “My name isn’t Dastardly for nothing,” Nelden said to himself as he emerged from his tent.
  11. Hmmmm. I’ve been inactive this cycle due to being on mobile, but I’m going to try and mitigate that by just participating anyways. As a placeholder vote, I’m voting on myself. Nelden, or rather Walin
  12. I will sign up as Bill Ted, a partaker in an excellent adventure. He goes by the name Feznik sometimes, too. Unrelated to Fezzik.
  13. I dare you to make a specifically known person into an elim in spite of the RNG Perhaps I would be a good candidate...
  14. Huh? I gotta read more of the forums, I thought this was new... I’m not Gasper’s brother; I do know him irl though and I thought this was a plausible theory. I gotta get my WoB training regimen up and running. Also, great to see you on the forums, man! Didn’t know you had an account already. I gotta get my Shard training regimen up and running...
  15. I’m voting for Araris because my faction asked me to in the doc. I’ll be watching you...’cause I’m an Informant.
  16. Ok, I think I'm going to have to withdraw from this game until further notice. I will still post enough to prevent my death due to the inactivity filter, unless my faction wants more power. I've got some procrastination issues and I hope that maintaining minimal, rather than normal, activity here will help me to get my work done. As I said last time, I'll be more fully active about six days from then, but I want to make it official that I am "withdrawing" from the game, if anyone wants to step in as a pinch hitter.
  17. Uh, whoops. I think I missed the entire Night. See you guys during the voting!
  18. I scanned Aman on Night 2, and it turned out that Aman is a Romantic Mistborn. Sorry I've been inactive much of this game; I should be returning to fuller activity in about six IRL days.
  19. Oh, darn. I need to read the backlog more often, I wasn't sure who was going to die or not. Rip Fifth. In the meantime, I say that we find out who was responsible for this death. Obviously it was a mob of angry people who listened to the accusations and incitements to rage against Fifth, but they also had to have someone phrasing those red-colored arguments. I smell a cabal...
  20. Wait, I thought it was Gary. Does the name not stay the same going from Gen 1 to Gen 2? Anyways, I like this plan. Kill two players with one lynch cycle. It’ll make the Houses dwindle ever faster, leaving less competition left during the rounds where it counts...
  21. Alright, I haven’t read the books, but I’ll sign up as Nelden Dastardly. He used to be an adventurer, until he took an arrow to the pointer finger. Now he’s a choir conductor, oddly enough. Using a wooden stick grasped between his middle and thumb finger, he can conduct better than those who use pointer fingers to grasp conducting sticks. And he can do certain tricks that he’d picked up after losing his finger...ones that could decide the balance between life and losing two fingers.
  22. Looks like only one person died; I need to go check the last events of Day 1. Are you all ready for intrigue and suspicion?
  23. I’ve got little to say, other than that I don’t like ties if they end up with both people dead. I’m gonna vote for Araris to make sure that Shqueeves survives, even if more votes start appearing.
  24. I’d like to learn how 138 is viable as a plan... And thanks for updating this series so much. It’s great.
  25. Torden finished with another experiment with different structures of ice. He thought back to that one steam explosion that nearly blinded him, and considered whether it had been enough to Snap him. He hadn't had the "Snapping Tryouts," as he called them, through a bit of fancy paperwork. Well, it would be poisonous to drink Allomantic whiskey, so he just decided to carry on with the research. However, as he lowered a pen to write some notes, there was a knock at the door. A courier had come, with the news of a house war. Oh dear...
