I have always felt that the Scadrian tech is going to stem from Hemalurgy. I believe there is a WoB that states our code monkey main character of era 3 is a Nicroburst. All she has to do is touch her computer and give it a nice boost of processing power Sorry for the side post but @hwiles post made me go there

A lot of people might also be very against the idea of having someones "spirit" stapled on to them. In fact I could see that causing a whole of political and social turmoil as people with spikes are hunted and brutally killed on the streets. One political party is pro another is against and suddenly its civil war/rebellion. I wouldn't be so quick to rule out hemalurgy being used in everyday life even while the debates about it are going on. Many things like euthanasia and (sorry to bring this up, not here to talk ethics, just stating examples) abortion. There are people who support both sides, and its legality varies from state to state, province to province and country to country Side note: After a few hundred more years do you think Harmony's intent will stop him from communicating with spiked people? He has to maintain the balance 100% and can't do anything at all. That would definitely make it harder to stop the widespread use of it. Also creates a cool possible plot where a spiked character starts hearing a voice, who is calling himself god, in his head.

I forgot about that! Excellent point! The only way I can see the fight happening now was if my crazy prediction was correct and marsh (if he lives long enough and is still working for harmony) is trying to stop his evil corrupted brother

Kell vs marsh is a possibility, they have a lot of unresolved tension, plus marsh is kina sorting for harmony and Kell is kinda against (?) Him atm

I think that point has the most backing. Allowance is getting weaker, actually I think there is a WoB about it being as weak as it can be, so having a must born in era 3 occur naturally is pretty unlikely. I'm picturing Kell doing some kind of saw type stuff about those not being to survive his games not deserving to live at all. It just fits with it all so well

@Tsidqiyah I am leaning toward yes, as it is such a versatile magic system. It can be used to steal so many different forms of magic. Trellium is also an example of Hemalurgy at least being somewhat functional with another shard (assuming Trell isn't connected to Ruin). And lastly in AU

I have always had a suspicion he is related. That's also a stretch and based mostly off of gut feelings.

Crazy prediction here. Kelsier is going to be a villain (or at the very least a large antagonist) in the overall plot of the Cosmere. The Hemalurgic spikes used to bring him back plus his unique revival situation are going to screw with his head. He is going to be the serial killer Mistborn in era 3. An evil shard is eventually going to abuse his Hemalurgic weakness and use him as a pawn. I have like no proof for any of this, Thoughts just popped into my head and had to share Feel free to post proof for/against and buff/tear this prediction to shreds

Sovereign's Identity (Secret History Spoilers)

That's why he makes a good point with mistwraith. The flexibility of their anatomy plus kel's identiry/spiritual view should be enough to make an exact look alike- 58 replies

Sovereign's Identity (Secret History Spoilers)
Itchy Savant replied to Rage_Fortress's topic in Mistborn
Well I guess that's what I meant, the blessing would turn him into a Kanda, but because it's an identity blessing it would just staple Kell into an effectively immortal body- 58 replies

Sovereign's Identity (Secret History Spoilers)
Itchy Savant replied to Rage_Fortress's topic in Mistborn
I love the idea of a Kanda housing kels cognitive shadow. Perhaps he has the blessing of kelsier instead of another bleswing? But in all seriousness would Kanda not need the original bones if he was blessed by a spike that staples Kell into it? The spurtiual identity could probably form the body with any bones. Could be related to how- 58 replies

Any board on here! comers 102 is probs a good start, and then from there the cosmere theories board is probably where you will find the bulk of the stuff. There are other theories in the other boards as well but they are more specific generally

Growth Fabrials or a property of Stormlight?
Itchy Savant replied to Tarion's question in Cosmere Q&A
They shatter the gemstones that have the spree they are going to bond with in the storms so perhaps they are needed for that? I mean I find it unlikly as they don't need huge gem hearts for that, actually on second thought, does it have to be gem hearts that store storm light? I don't think so, if they have gems with storm light in their beards why don't they just fill and use those for their crops?- 12 replies

Growth Fabrials or a property of Stormlight?
Itchy Savant replied to Tarion's question in Cosmere Q&A
@Spoolofwhool The first one wasn't mine, I was just adding my 2 cents in. And yes Investiture does warp and change its vessel, but it needs to be extremly large amounts. In small amounts it's only beneficial (for the most part) it's when some one abuses the powe for too long/in high enough quantities that negative effects start happening. In my mind it's been a little bit of investiture is beneficial and repeated/large uses start to warp the vessel. A soul caster (person not object) most likely still receives the benefit of increased immune system, their bodies have just been changed due to the extreme use. I guess what I am trying to say is that Investiture being good for health and warping the vessel are not connected and you can have one or both of the effects. Edit: I'd also bet my pants that when a misting/mist born is burning metal they experience a similar health boost, but only while actively burning their metal thus activly drawing in investiture. Has anybody asked Sanderson about that?- 12 replies

Growth Fabrials or a property of Stormlight?
Itchy Savant replied to Tarion's question in Cosmere Q&A
@Spoolofwhool You have a point but aren't rosharans more resistant to disease and what not? Savants are a special case due to the constant influx of power warping their bodies, seems like more of a side effect of their investiture use as opposed to investiture in general- 12 replies

Hmmm, I really liked the Yelig-Nar theory, sad to see it busted. Interesting to learn that it is all through the Cosmere. I have a feeling that perhaps that means it wont be answered for a while to come. Here is hoping Szeth gets to be a world hopper and that we will see him in future books Era 2 Mistborn Spoiler

@The One Who Connects I am really digging that final paragraph. Seems like a solid theory, and would love to hear what Sanderson has to say about it! Have an up vote for that and the nice write up for ciridae

Wait, so it isn't one of the unmade? And by "anyone who did the things he did" is he talking the whole Cosmere or just on Roshar? Because if it is just on Roshar, my money is on the unmade
