It had been a few days since anyone had asked for a cookie. As Mac lay in bed that night he was getting very concerned. He had made extra a few days ago, but he couldn't possibly eat them all and if he even if he could, he would die from all of the drugs in them.

People you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley

I am sorry, but that information is restricted to denizens. If you sell someone a cookie, then we will tell you. -
have been looking at the more inactive players, trying to tell who could be a elim hiding trying to stay low. Out of the more inactive players I find Arinian to be the most suspicious. He is acting suspicious, placing votes without apparent reasoning. I can't help but think that this could be a cover for being an elim trying to appear kinda active but not posting anything of value. Also between this cycle and the last he still hasn't gotten rid of my suspicions, and I only switched my vote to survive last cycle.

Journey before destination!

Hello! Do you like baked goods? Also, How many of sanderson's books have you read? -
I know this is going to be suspicious, but I have to do it if I am going to live. This will also be my final vote for the night. I need to go to bed so I can get at least 6 hours of sleep. I need to vote on either straw or shqueeves so that the tied vote takes away some chance of me dying. Shqueeves has said that he didn't care who died and that made lopen vote on him. Shqueeves also said that something felt off about my post that said that I was just trying to survive. Straw, on the other had we have even less about. He voted on Randuir as revenge, not expecting anyone else to vote for him. He also said to watch out for me coop and Joe. He voted on me because of my vote on Randuir even after I explained that I was the best choice available to me and didn't retract it. Sorry Straw.

I'm not trying to say that I'm not suspicious, Using an RNG was suspicious. I freely admit that. I'm trying to explain my reasoning behind doing what I did and show you guys that in my mind it was the least suspicious route available. No matter who I put my vote on, I would have been suspected for something. Placing a vote like that will give people suspicions. Placing it on someone without any votes or justification as my last post for the night would have been weird. Setting the outcome of the lynch by placing it on someone with 2 votes would have been ultra suspicious. Being the only person in the cycle who didn't vote on someone would have drawn suspicion like bee's to honey. I couldn't find justification in my mind for one remaining person over another so I used an RNG so I wouldn't feel guilty. Even if the person didn't die, that still would have been suspicious.

You love cookies you say? If that is truly the case, then I have a wide variety of delicious cookies to offer you. What flavor do you like best?

The reason I'm focusing on avoiding suspicion is that in my last game I gained some, then I wasn't able to get rid of it and I was the C1 lynch. Which kinda sucked. On cycle one I was just focusing on surviving the first day so I tried to do things to minimize suspicion.

I think that this is a really cool Idea. Though I have one suggestion, What if instead of making just a mentoring program, it was a buddy system. My reasoning is that this way it provides a way for experienced players to learn from each other. It also makes it more approachable. If someone has been playing for a while, they may not be a new player, but they may not feel like they have a grip on the game and they feel like they could benefit from an opportunity to learn. On the logistical side, this gets rid of having to distinguish what makes a player experienced.

I just want to explain my reasoning behind using an RNG to make the vote. I understand in hindsight that that was a remarkably suspicious thing to do, but IRL things made me need to go to bed then and I didn't have a good candidate to vote on. I couldn't have abstained because at the moment, the only other person who haden't placed a vote was Elenion. If I didn't vote I would have been hounded for being really suspicious.

After having time to read through the thread I am going to have to vote on Arinian. At the very least until he provides actual justification for voting on drought. At least I made my random vote using an RNG, he just placed a vote on drought for the sole reason that they are placing a vote on him. For a little bit of analysis, wouldn't at least one of the eliminators have placed votes on one of the people who had 2 votes on them? There is a minimum of 2 votes for a lynch, and if the elims had planned from the beginning to not use the elim kill they would have tried to get someone lynched. They wouldn't have wanted to go a cycle without killing someone.
-
I suppose using an RNG to decide who to vote on is kinda suspicious. But it would have been equally suspicious no matter who I voted on, with it.

It appears that Ecthelion has posted. So I have removed my vote. Being an ardent supporter of the gods of luck and chance I am going to vote to keep the tie lynch going. Sorry, Randuir.

@CranBerry for a bit of background on the cookie thing, Me and a few other fellows like to practice hemalurgy baking with spikes cookies. Sadly there is no place to test sell our wares, so we give them out for free.

@Coop772 You may want to remove the vote on me so you're not accused of double voting.

When did I say to revenge poke someone?

As the liar turned away from him, Mac stared back astounded. Looking around, he realized that no one else seemed to care. What happened? I released this extremely relevant information that could help us root out the spies, and no one cares?? Why wouldn't someone care? Unless, wait, what if they are all spies? And I'm the only loyalist! Oh no, they're coming for me!! I have to run, escape!!! Wait. Another voice came from the back of his head. Yes? You're being crazy. Its been a half hour sense you last had a cookie. You are going through withdrawal. Eat one or two and look at this situation with new eyes. Oh fine. Mac reached into his pocket and ate two cookies rapidly, waited till he was calm, then looked at the situation again. I guess, accusing somebody of smudging a detail that would have only factored in at around 1000 games is a bit extreme. I need to wait for more information to accuse Jeo of being a spy.

Warning, rules about the game below. This is looking good. The gods of luck and chance will be well pleased. 6 people with one vote each! Edit: Nevermind. there needs to be a minimum of two votes dang it.

Jeo the yellow. After doing the math, Mac found out that the odds for winning at craps were not 50/50. They were 49.29% to 50.71%. Spies were supposed to lie to people, right? @A Joe in the Bush

I was thinking of a system where you had 2 actions that you could choose to delegate somewhere. you could vote twice, do 2 actions based on your role, or vote and do your role action.
