I like to really build my world before writing-- worldbuilding is my favorite part. However, my plots are lacking, so I can't get very far into the story before it becomes an uphill battle to piece everything together. This time around, I did pretty well, because I did some planning beforehand, but now I've hit that wall of determent. It really hit from a lack of writing, I was very busy for two weeks or so, so when I got time to write again, I had too much time to think about how all of my ideas were going to fit together, and realized that I didn't have a good enough plan. So now my writing has stagnated.

Quinn pumped his legs as fast as possible down the cobbled streets. Now they had filled with people, each going this way and that, taking no thought to organized traffic. He pushed aside a pedestrian in his hurry and didn't glance back. He couldn't afford the time. Speaking of time, he glanced down at his watch. Late already! He clenched his fist and walked faster, if that was possible. If only he had a steelmind... He gets a bit feisty when things get out of plan... An understatement. No one has even tried talking to him yet-- A woman, obviously well-bred, approached Quinn and smiled. Quinn slowed marginally. "Do you know where Lord Tekiel is?" I stand corrected. Brace for impact. Quinn whipped his head around and looked the woman straight in the eyes. She flinched, a tiny movement of her facial features, but her proper upbringing covered it up quickly. Quinn exhaled heavily. "I do not know where Lord Tekiel is, and I must be going, or I will be late!" Quinn spat with enough venom to melt iron. He tore his gaze away and walked off again. He called back. "And a good day to you." Oh Quinn... It's a good thing he found a wife when he did, or else I fear he might be a permanent bachelor. My dearest apologies to you, good woman, although you cannot hear me. I do hope you find who you are looking for.

Granted. The Nightwatcher curses you with a vicious monster that lurks in the shadows that will rip of your face and eat your soul in your sleep if you are not sufficiently productive that day. On the plus side, you will never be lazy! I wish for strengths that perfectly counter my weaknesses, making me a complete and fully-capable-in-every-situation individual.

Well, it depends on the item you are selling. Some things usually don't resell at a high (high being relative) price, because of supply-demand, durability, that sort of thing. I'm not telling you to lower your price. Simply convince them that their ways of thinking are clearly flawed, and that your price is absolutely reasonable (but in a polite way, of course). If they think otherwise, then they are still not thinking correctly, and thus they should not buy your item.

It was Gavin, wasn't it. He wasn't present at the beginning, when it was stated that Uncle Martin was not present, but Arabelle, Jake,and Advik were. Tatws was also absent for a period of time prior to the discovery of Martin's corpse, but I'm not entirely sure. It's either Gavin or Tatws. You didn't tell us how long the body had been dead.

Quinn looked at the identical letters and scratched his head in amazement. This was much more than he had expected when he had left this morning. But if there was to be an event right here in Fadrex, it would make sense that more people would be coming, right? Oh Quinn, why do you rationalize so much! I'm facepalming my nonexistent face with my nonexistent hand! Chill. He's always like this. No imagination. I guess that's why he's not like his brother. I wonder how our counterpart did with him... Probably better than how we're doing with Quinn. “Indeed, it seems as if we have been invited to the same gathering," the man in the trench coat said. Quinn nodded. He glanced down the street. No pedestrians wandered. Odd. Quinn checked his wristwatch and slumped his shoulders. Now he was going to be late, he hated being late. Gosh, the one thing I despise Quinn the most for: a sense of timeliness. It's not a bad thing... But it aggravates me! He's so good! His moral code is too strong for us to influence him to do anything interesting. Quinn shuffled his feet, anxious to get going, now that he was aware of his impending tardiness. He nodded to the others, quickly shook their hands, and sped off. "I hope we meet again later!" He called as he swiftly walked away. I better hope so. It's good for him to meet other people. Sometimes, I appreciate that he can't hear our conversations. Ah, but when he won't do the right thing and it's so obvious!!! Argh!!! Calm down, now everyone thinks we are insane. Let's just see how things go.

Quinn nearly jumped as another man stumbled out of the alley. How many people were currently inhabiting the alley? Was that even legal? The man hurried over and immediately assisted Quinn in his efforts to upright the first man, the one in the trench coat. The other man, the one who was helping Quinn, looked over at him. "I've been out of touch lately, I'm wondering if you can tell me a bit about what's been going on recently?" The man asked. Quinn raised an eyebrow. How long had the man been in that alley? Quinn thought about what had happened. Earlier that year, the Lord Ruler had been slain in Luthadel, but that was miles away, and Quinn had been busy with his accounting job. He had heard of a war over the throne, but nothing confirmed. That's Quinn, always overanalyzing. Just tell him about the letter! Quinn scratched his cheek and shrugged. "Er, recently?
