I see two options here: 1) KSauce is a particularly desperate villager who just doesn’t want to die (which is valid). Or 2) KSauce is a desperate elim whose teammates are not active and he’s floundering. Either way I feel kind of bad, but I think I’ll stick with my vote. Someone’s gonna die today no matter what, and I think my point from earlier still stands and I’m leaning towards desperate elim here. Which should make things interesting in regards to vote manipulation.

I mean, I understand your disagreements, but also we have forever votes to deal with now. That complicates things. I also don’t agree that one of the trains has to be wolf. We could have 5 trains and they all be villagers for all we know. EDIT: Anyway, I’m about to head to bed so I’ll see what happens overnight and decide what to do with my vote in the morning.

So are you saying we should try and form consensus wagons? Like one single wagon that has most of the votes? That way we lose a bunch of the carryover votes when that person dies? I could get behind that, assuming we can all decide who to actually vote for.

I can vibe with a vote on KaladinsSenseOfHumor. Looking back, there was little explanation for the vote. While that’s not necessarily uncommon right now, it’s good in my opinion to put more pressure on another candidate. See if that brings people out of the woodwork. (Also I always love the potential for ties )

That was already going to happen, and it shows a lack of care about where his vote ends up, in my opinion. For someone who's been around long enough, he should know better than that. That would be the dream team. Unfortunately, that is not the case as I am not an elim. Not sure about Kas or TJ yet. Kas has talked some, but not of too much substance, and TJ isn't even here yet. Cruel indeed Yeah at this point there's no harm in just picking randomly. Most players haven't even shown up yet, so there's not much to base anything off of yet.

So, we use this thread to chat and cast votes on each other during the cycle (which lasts 24 hours). At the end of the Cycle, whichever player(s) has/have the most votes will be executed. You can also set up PMs with other players (they must include yourself, one other player, Jo the GM, and Araris the IM) to chat with people individually. If you're an elim, you should have also received a link to an elim doc in your GM PM, where you could theoretically chat and scheme with your fellow elims. Or just do what Kas said, which is just party

I think I'll have to decline, unfortunately. I've got a lot going on in my life right now, and it's not really letting up. My goal is to be at a place in my life where I could do this next year. But it wouldn't be a good idea for me to accept this nomination right now.

As someone who has found that real life makes long term engagement with a game very difficult, I would love to see Discord SE games given a chance. They would presumably be much faster paced games. Games that you could sit down and play and be done with in a couple hours at most. Scheduling would be the hardest part, but if each game is shorter you can schedule games more often. It would be like scheduling a meeting or a D&D session. Difficult with the sheer number of people and timezones involved, but doable. I think Discord games would ultimately be worth it in the long run. It would be a way for those with busy lives to get more involved in the game side of the community again. Sometimes you can spare a few hours here and there, but nothing consistent enough to keep up with a true forum game. That’s just my two cents as someone who’s been here for 6+ years and also hasn’t played much this year.

Oh gosh hey sorry guys. Life has been extremely crazy the last few weeks. Who knew being a teacher would turn out to be so much work? Plus I got pretty sick last week and missed two days of school. I almost certainly can’t run an LG right now. I already feel like I’m spending my evenings playing catch up for the next day. I can’t really afford to give my evenings up right now. I might have be put down as inactive in the spreadsheet until I figure my life out more as a teacher.

Congrats to the elim team for winning! And good job to all of the villagers as well! This was a fun game to watch, even if I ended up being pretty busy near the end. I was at a band convention trying to get a job. (I did get a job! Finally!) Thank you so much everyone for being such awesome players and making my life so much easier! Also everyone has already mostly done so, but keep giving Szeth all the love he deserves for running such an awesome game almost entirely by himself! He did a great job.
