I don't understand why that makes my point irrelevant?

Let's talk about this math. Let's assume there's one elim who reaches max rupees by doing the bunny mask stuff. That means they'd earn 130 rupees before D4-1. Now let's assume everyone they kill also gets max rupees, the elim doesn't exe anyone, none of their victims die before being killed, and that no one they kill buys items. Also gonna assume rupees are distributed to players last. Victims: D1-1: 0 rupees earned D1-2: 2-3 rupees earned (1/4 of 10) D1-3: 6-7 rupees earned (1/4 of 25) D2-1: 10 rupees earned (1/4 of 40) D2-2: 13-14 rupees earned (1/4 of 55) D2-3: 17-18 rupees earned (1/4 of 70) D3-1: 21-22 rupees earned (1/4 of 85) D3-2: 25 rupees earned (1/4 of 100) D3-3: 28-29 rupees earned (1/4 of 115) (Ranges given because I am unsure if you would round up or down) Anyway, the total number of rupees a player could earn (assuming everything I said earlier is true) through killing is 122. That plus the 130 from engagement is plenty to get the immediate win. Granted, we can't assume that all of those stipulations I made to make this math happen will occur. Let's say an elim only makes half of that from killing. That's 61 rupees, which brings us to a total of 191. Now, if they exe people as well, there's a chance for them to make that extra 9 rupees at some point. The point I'm trying to get at is that it is much more likely than you might think for players to try and find a way to game up to that 200 rupees.

Why's that? Oh, is that what your role does? Adds a vote to you? I always forget what yours does.

Yeah if you look at just the possible situations I'm espousing, there are more occurrences of e!Mat. But I lend much more credence to the one e!JNV situation (that you have listed) than I do to the two v!JNV situations. Also, here's a VC: JNV (3): StrikerEZ, Araris Valerian, The Wandering Wizard Araris Valerian (3): DrakeMarshall, JNV, Matrim's Dice This was done the old fashioned way, so please let me know if I've missed someone's vote.

I don’t even have a response to this because I legitimately cannot comprehend the logic here. I don’t think knowing Mat is an elim guarantees JNV is one, not with Confirmed Villager out there. I do think that JNV being an elim guarantees Mat being an elim. So I think JNV is the much better exe option.

To be fair, has anyone ever said it’s truly random? Or has that just been an assumption?

Hmm. I can see the points for going for Mat first. But I don’t think e!Mat = e!JNV, because JNV could be village and scanned an e!Confirmed Villager!Mat. I do think e!JNV almost certainly means e!Mat though. So I think JNV is the better vote here.

I already didn’t trust JNV and trust Bip, so I don’t like that claim. Especially with the Sart claim that basically had to be fake. I’m voting JNV.

I just worry about missing rollover and forgetting to move my vote. Because I have missed several of the last few rollovers. However, I will say that I think we should go for JNV today.

Honestly, it's not going to feel like winning until it's actually over. Though I do think we are probably in a pretty decent spot. There's what, 8 players left? If it was 4-4, we'd have lost by now, yeah? So we know there's probably no more than 3 elims left. Which does mean the next Day turn could be exlo. So we have to keep that in mind.

Yeah I think 1.5x works. And it would be unfair to make it worse for elims. Plus players could probably find a way to use that as an alignment scanner.

This looks like an absolute blast. My only comment is that the bunny hood is way too powerful. If someone starts the game with at least 5 rupees, then the only reasonable thing to do D1 is buy the bunny hood. Because you can very quickly rack up rupees if you’re committed to the 5/each of RP/discussion posts per cycle. That’s 20 rupees per cycle. That would be 170-180 rupees (depending on if bunny hood would take effect N1-1 or not) by the end of N3-3. Gaining 30-40 other rupees throughout the game seems like a trivial task to achieve before Day 4-1. Especially for the elim team, who can vote one of their own out and gain their rupees.

I’m glad that wasn’t the end of the game. Because I was not around to help my with my zombie vote. EDIT: oops I forgot that I traveled back in time too before the game ended. Had to edit this.

Mid-Range Game 62: In The Shadow of Ash
StrikerEZ replied to StrikerEZ's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I now wanna run a game with more GMs than players. Perhaps each GM gives different roles or something to each player, but only one is their true role? no…I don’t need to add even more ideas to my growing pile…. Got it! And you’re welcome! She’d probably want to play it more than help run it. She likes to play more than she likes GMing. I’m kind of the opposite, though playing is still really fun.- 716 replies

That’s a fair point. I just think you believe in the validity of all the scans far more than I do. The only scan I am certain of is my own, and even then there’s a possibility of it being messed up if Confirmed Villager is a real role. And you have an interest in assuming most of the scans are right, considering JNV has claimed to have scanned you. Caveat there being you’re also voting on JNV, which complicates things.

There’s something latently suspicious about this statement. Yes avoiding “paranoia” is a good thing. I don’t really have an opinion on if voting Archer is paranoia or not (it feels reasonable to me). However, we have now idea if we actually have the time to wait on the vote. For all we know, it could be 5-4 right now. And this could be Exlo. I do think that’s unlikely, but we have literally no idea how close we are to Exlo. And acting like we have a bunch of time seems like a quick way to lose a game.
