  1. Someone else can have a go.
  2. Now, I've just had a craaazy idea. Lift is female, Wyndle is male Kaladin is male, Syl is female Jasnah is female, Ivory is male Shallan is female and bisexual, Pattern is sort of both male and female. So, what if Glys is male? Does that mean Renarin is gay?
  3. I'm thinking Leras, if he counts. Remember, Leras thought to imprison Ruin, realized that that wouldn't be enough, so constructed an elaborate plot to cause someone to take up two shards. Also, some of the things TLR did were manipulations by Leras as well. Sure, some things came unstuck with the plans, but the other main characters managed to sort that out.
  4. Have you read Pratchett? I would advise you to. The concept of policemen there is a lot different to the common concept of policeman. But yeah, it sorta does fall apart. Now I've gone full retard in my thinking and hypothesizing that the Seventeenth Shard are similar to the history monks.
  5. Who's to say that Khriss didn't just like the idea of calling it Shadesmar?
  6. Mainly because Harmony is stronger than him. I mean, if you were the big mean kid in the middle school playground that steals everyone's lunch money, would you go after the twins that are both as big as you?
  7. True. I think we've established that Hoid is not perfect. If I was in Hoid's position, I would have kept going too, just for shitz and gigglez. I've just had a completely CRAZY thought. A lot of Sanderson's characters are quite similar to Pratchett's characters. So, what if Hoid sees himself as the 'policeman' of the cosmere?
  8. He beat up Kell because he had no choice.
  9. Ha, don't worry. Your ideas are much more interesting than the original topic.
  10. Eh what? I thought we didn't know how?
  11. Ah right, thanks.
  12. Don't forget the Sliver effect.
  13. There's a WoB somewhere about the Cognitive realm (which I refuse to call Shadesmar outside Roshar) being dangerous on Sel due to the nature of the magic there being different to magics on other worlds. My theory: Both Shards are splintered, so the Dor has no Vessel guiding it. This means that the Dor attacks anyone who goes into the Cognitive realm. Holes: What about Roshar? Cultivation seems largely apathetic, and I doubt Odium would do anything to help there. The Stormfather could be bleeding excess Investiture with the Highstorms, however.
  14. I had a truly crazy one recently: T-man is manipulating Nale. The only reason for this is that the big T doesn't want Surgebinders interfering with his plans, and Nale is killing them.
  15. I think there's a WoB where someone asked Brandon if Odium caused the big accident or whatever it was on Threnody, and he grinned and refused to say anything. So, I believe that Threnody's Shard was destroyed by Odium and that caused the accident.
  16. Sorry, I've been inactive over the last few weeks due to, um, stuff. The Inkwizishon is still open however.
  17. I usually don't make fun of typos, but this one was too funny. I doubt if you know him, but Virat Kholi is very famous. http://www.cricbuzz.com/profiles/1413/virat-kohli Oh dear. I've just finished re-reading both Stormlight books and can't find where you got this from. I obviously haven't been paying enough attention.
  18. Detritus struggles to his feet. The spiders have finally subsided. All dese peeple, complainin' 'bout dat uni guy what got himself killed. He feels an irresistible urge to see someone lynched. How about the same as what Aman said? Silverblade.
