  1. ok that made me chuckle, upvote.
  2. I can see that. Maybe Elsecallers would have concentrationspren or the other one that was mentioned in WoK. They spren that sometimes shows up at great debates, is that logicspren or something else?
  3. You say that minor spren are attracted by what a Surgebinder does and while that is true, Lift attracted lifespren while not using any of her abilities. I am at work and can't look up the passage, but I am referring to when she was walking through the fields and the lifespren left the plants and followed her for a bit. (any help with this one guys? I think it was when she was on her way to the Grand Indistinctivename). I do like the idea of minor spren mostly because it goes well with the spren having something to do with Shardplate. I like the flamespren for Dustbringers, it make sense and fits with tier soulcasting properties. I still feel like maybe we are missing a connection. I tired plugging in what we know into the 10 essences chart but couldn't really come up with anything definite. Brandon does too much planning for this to be random. Stormlight.xlsx
  4. I am surprised I have not seen anything about this here. Maybe everyone thought it was too obvious. Here goes though: Lifespren are to Edgedancers as windspren are to Windrunners. We see in WOR that Kaladin draws windspren to him and we see in ED that Lift draws lifespren to her. That's it, no crazy WildSpeculation, just an observation. I thought it might be fun however, to WildlySpeculate the 'minor' spren of the other KR Orders. My speculations are in parentheses. BondSmiths: Major: Various Mega Spren i.e. Stormfather. Minor ? Windrunners: Honorspren/windspren Skybreakers: Highspren/? Dustbringers: ?/? Edgedancers: Cultivationspren/lifespren Truthwatchers: ?/? Lightweavers: liespren(cryptics) /? (creationspren?) Elsecallers: Inkspren/? (logicspren) Willshapers: ?/? Stonewards: ?/? Looking at the two 'confirmed' (by that I mean I see it as canon, so there :P) sets of Major/Minor spren, we see an emotion/idea spren and a nature spren. I wonder if that, admittedly, small sample size sets the pattern for us to follow. If it does then it throws my guesses out the window into the highstorm. Any educated guess or non-educated guesses?
  5. To clarify: I for one do not think there are Cognitive Shadows of D&D on Sel. I was merely pointing out that there are more ways that Post-Splintering influence could happen.
  6. Is there any reason that D&D's cognitive shadows could not have been around after death influencing culture? (I know that we have no evidence or even reason to believe that D&D have cognitive shadows) Or more likely: Seons and Skaze. Do not forget that these are splinters of Devotion and Dominion and Khriss may count them as shardic influence. Also remember that Seons (and possibly Skaze as well) have Aons in their center. (Technically that Aon is the splinter and not the Seon itself)
  7. In that case, I would need to look up the quotes when I get home, but I was referring to
  8. I am not amazing with theory crafting, but I believe it is worth pointing out experiences in MB:SH. (first post not sure about spoiler policies in this forum)
