In Mistborn the Final Empire Sazed stores a small amount of strength for a short time so that he can then become significantly stronger for a short amount of time...I would imagine them doing something like that, storing a small amount of strength with the latter intent of doing that then you surprise then with a nice, heavy collar around their neck.

I had been imagining something like with Sazed in TFE he stores a small amount of strength to tap so that they can break out of wherever they are... Then that's when you snack the collar on them

Oooh good point...while they are storing knock them unconscious, but leave a small amount of metal on them, as if it is something that you missed. As soon as they start storing you leap out and put a very solid collar on them, then give them a small amount of pewter to use,

All it would take is to catch one while they are doing nothing, just storing. I would imagine that while one is storing that they would just kinda sit there and either do nothing or...draw? Something basic, not complicated. Get them distracted by drawing, sneak up behind them, and BOOM! Brute Torture.
