That would be the name of either what his power was or the person who held the power, the question is; what would it be called? For example: cultivation is a shard and the wielder has a name other than shard or cultivation, so what would Adonalsium be considered? A shard? I don't really think so, since he is whole. I should have clarified earlier, thanks for catching that mistake @Eki!

To answer why he (might have) had them, as I mentioned earlier, I think there's a WOB that says 'fullborn' cannot be naturally birthed by scadrians. Also, as Spoolofwhool just said, he probably had them before hand, though maybe their F-gene was dormant.

I completely agree, though I can't get in a fight until the fights have started up again. Any idea who's up next for a post? If not, i would be willing to post again. It'd just be... repetitive.

Granted, though it is made of human hair. Your bane is that it is still alive. Even as you wear it, the cloth grows and lengthens and, worst of all, it makes dandruff!!! I wish to be incapable of change physically; I can't age, can't grow, can't lose limbs, etc...

So I was thinking, and I decided to put to this community two questions: 1. What would it be called when all the Shards have been gathered? I mean, it's no longer a shard! What is it? And 2. If you were a shard, what shard would you be? To build on that, what would your world be like? What magic system or systems would you have? the one rule for the second question is that you can't copy Brandon's work. You can be cultivation or honor, but you can't be on Roshar. Personally, I'd be the shard of cultivation, though my interpretation is causing growth in others. My world would be water-based with small islands in archipelagos all over the planet. The magic would involve diving into the ocean to retrieve pearls that grant you two abilities. One is either pyro-kineses or hydro-kineses, the other is always the dormant ability to enhance other people's powers. Every once in a while, a child will be born with a pearl, and the color of the pearl determines the abilities he/she has.what about you guys?

Hey guys, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a WOB that says that Fullborn aren't naturally possible and require either lerasium or a sDNA ovwerwrite by a shard?

May I ask who is active on the Salem thread? By that I mean, who is on it? Is there a list anywhere?

@Savanorn, Just read this. It makes me feel very... impressed? Impressed with your ideas and accurate reading on Kel's reactions to your strategy, yet at the same time depressed that I didn't think mine out as well as yours. Does that make sense?

Since this has turned into a discussion on genetics, what would happen if the non-terris started a breeding program for allomancy? It would probably become more common, but that aside, could it strengthen the allomancy gene to the point where, eventually, a mistborn was produced? Or would there be some other effect?

@Tsidqiyah, I don't know about changing leather from flimsy to unbreakable without a physical change of the substance, but doesn't soulcasting change things into other things depending on the gem used? Personally, I think that soulcasting could be a way to drive a plot on almost any world other than Roshar. The reason it couldn't be a plot-driving force on Roshar is because the world is used to it, there isn't any form of conflict except whether or not it's sacrilege, and the ardents aren't all that worried about that idea yet. If your magic provides a conflict that you can work with, whether emotional, political, physical, or some other kind, it can drive a plot just as well as anything else. An example of magic that drives the plot would be Roshar surges, I mean, look how the re-surge-ance of the Knights radiant did. It is the whole purpose of the plot, without it almost nothing else would happen. Look at kaladin, without his knight radiant status he would've died while caring bridges, and he would never have gotten to work for Dallinar etc... So, yes, your magic can definitely drive the plot depending on the situation. I hope this was helpful for you!

Would a double bronze twinborn work? I have some base concepts worked out, and if you feel he should be mad at hoid, he can be.

If compounders aren't allowed, I'd probably have 1 (A-tin F-bronze) twinborn on top of the keep (on watch) as well as 4 crashers( waxes type of twinborn), one on each side of the keep. Then I'd have 3 haze-killer trained (A-pewter F-Iron) twinborn protecting the nobility( who have taken refuge in the keeps center-most room, no windows at all only a thick, barred door). Finally I'd have 1(A-zinc F-Steel) and 1(A-copper F-Steel) twinborn waiting with the nobility: to hide their alomantic pulses, exude a powerful air of depression, despair, and hopelessness throughout the keep, and to speed all the nobility to safety if kelsier defeats the other three twinborn. Does this work? Did it at least amuse you? I didn't include an alomantic bronze twinborn because kelsier would be burning copper, in the most-likely scenario, anyway.

Simple victory, steel compounders, pewter compounders, bronze compounders, and just for fun; one or more gold or zinc compounder. This might become more difficult if one couldn't use compounders.

I found an interesting rp recently, its about the seventeenth shard members. Each player role-plays a character they make from a shard world of their choice. I'm planning to be a double bronze twinborn, though one could also be a forger or a knight-Radiant or even a one armed herdazian-terrace mix breed if one wanted. We'd need a few more players if we want to have more than one storyline, though I don't want to sound like I'm pleading. It's called 'The Search for Hoid' if your interested.

I'll ask around. Maybe I can get someone interested in this rp.

I wanted to make a character for the Mistborn rpg, but it didn't end up so well. Maybe I can tweak him and use him here? Where are we going to be RP-ing? Here or another thread?
