Compounded speed + compounded metal speed already literally beats everybody on the stadium(when you think a hundred steps ahead of all the enemy and you move in a speed of a storming bullet there's not much anybody can do). Like that's not even including stuff like bendalloy, atium and stuff. Actually mistborn atium already kills most in cosmere. That's just how overpowered feruchemist/mistborn are tbh

This one is extremely obvious. Rashek pretty much kills anybody without shardic intervention(so that means you can't even count Dalinar as we don't know if counts a vessel or whatever was that on Oathbringer climax). He can pretty much wipe anybody before they could even fight back if he is serious enough as a fullborn wipes the floor with anybody so far as magics are introduced. And Rashek is the literal strongest and best of them all(savantism on almost all, 2 versions of compounding, highest allomantic/feruchemical strength, a millenium of experience in fighting). In a hypothetically deathmatch this would mean Rashek is serious. That pretty much means everybody is literally dead. Vin basically had to pull the power of the literal shard of preservation to win. That much intervention is needed to win against him (he can hit somebody metals inside their body,, that is how powerful his normal steelpush and that is without duralumin)

Ancient Daughter isn't really anything other than a title pertaining to the original honorspren who were formed by honor instead of stormfather. Aside from the nobility treatment in the shadesmar it is nothing really special.

Why is your intent that ?

We know that Of course Ruin is Sazed now who isn't hellbent on killing everything or making anybody who he can influence kill stuff as well but again nobody has more spikes than Marsh has in the entire Cosmere. This sounds like a huge implication that he did use hemalurgy or at least utilized already existing spikes for himself. He doesn't seem homicidal and Sazed doesn't count Marsh when he said "the last time he had good conversation was with Kel-(this was around SoS)" when Marsh and Sazed basically has the most direct line communication ever considering the amount of spikes Marsh has. Why not mention Marsh as well ? Even after the fall of TLR and before Ruin was released. Sazed did mention to making an effort to communicate with Marsh since he was alienating the crew. So how sane do you think Marsh actually is ? Cause the spikes has to have an effect on him.

Crackpot Theories (A game)
goody153 replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Proof: If Adonalsium wasn't the bad guy. Why would 16 people with differing places in life band together to split him up and make sure he is never reformed again ? Can't be a good guy to me. Theory: The stormfather is actually just Odium pretending to be stormfather. And the highstorm is basically just Odium's creations. There's nothing anymore opposing him in Roshar really. He's just fooling people -
Szeth thinks it needs 10 heartbeat. So it starts giving 10 heartbeats (all in the perspective)

The Ten Orders: How They do Everyday Things
goody153 replied to little wheel's topic in Stormlight Archive
How the orders would react when their local mayor wants them to repaint the playground. Windrunner: Would repaint the park. Then add safety signs. And maybe some rubber corners on rough edges for the kids. Skybreaker: "On what legal basis?" Dustbringer: "If there was no playground. There would be nothing to repaint. *insert beaming smile here* " Edgedancer: Slides all around the playground while painting the mayors name all around so that people don't forget who initiated it. Truthwatcher: Would see in the future that one of the other orders would repaint the playground. Then stay very far away from it given the outcome of the repainting. Lightweaver: Would lie about agreeing on repainting the park. Then stealing the paint canisters to create his/her own personal artform. Then lie about stealing the paint canisters. Elsecaller: "Why?" Willshaper: Would agree to paint the playground. Then end up playing on the playground. Finally wandering somewhere else forgetting about the entire thing. Stoneward: Would agree to paint the playground. Start painting. Then stubbornly won't stop painting as "it isn't good enough". Bondsmith: Make the mayor repaint the playground himself/herself.- 166 replies

Crackpot Theories (A game)
goody153 replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Proof: The ghostblood messes with the current governing shard on Roshar(Odium) and Set does the same thing with the governing shard on Scadrial(Harmony). Doesn't sound like coincidence to me ! Theory: Khriss is actually just Hoid crossdressing as a girl(don't judge Hoid we all have our own thing) -
Harmony is Apathy confirmed.

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)
goody153 replied to killersquirrel59's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Granted, you are given a soul alright. The soul most valuable to you. The soul of somebody you hold dear the most(could be your lover, child or even yourself). Nobody can say that Nightwatcher isn't generous xD I wish for a means of sustenance(which is not eating/drinking) -
Crackpot Theories (A game)
goody153 replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Proof: It sounds really suspicious when the most obsessed of collecting all kinds of investiture is the same person from the shattering. And what was Adonalsium made of again ?(all kinds of investiture) Theory: Reen(Vin's step brother) is actually Ruin -

Abit of offtopic about breeding program that involves Tindwyl's. Isn't kinda sad that she lived that life and while she brought forth so many children that brought with them the hope for feruchemy to survive but by the endgame of the trilogy. All feruchemist except Sazed is dead. Granted it all worked out but God Mistborn Era 1 is such an hellish setting. And people say Mistborn Trilogy is for teens. Yeah this make sense actually

Yeah this seems a practical application but you'd to have a really strict and really monitored activity about this. It'll be similar to organ donation.

Yep Ingenuity is like a slip by Sanderson. He refuses to say anything more about the subject so that one is definitely suspicious -
Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)
goody153 replied to killersquirrel59's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
The nightwatcher smiles to you and thinks "you came all the way here just to wish for a dollar ? Really ? " completely hiding her bafflement. Granted, she wouldn't even just give you a dollar. She'll give a billion 1 dollars. Those 1 dollars came from somewhere tho I wish for the 17thshard to be actually a shard -
Elhokar wanted to prove that he was doing the right thing. He was disillusioned at that point so he was constantly trying to do the right thing that he no longer cares about his own pride and stuff. And he actually did, he acted as a hero not somebody who wants to be one. Shame that he did prove to be worthy as a hero and a king to his people but he still died. Such a stellar tragedy written.

Dozens of possible sources of how whoever wrote the chart knew about Lerasium Hemalurgy. It could be Harmony(unlikely considering he disapproves of his own magic system .. or so he may pretend as he is still a shard who plans like millions of possibilities.. all shards are like that even the nice ones holdback alot of information or a bunch of actors), it could be Marsh ( think he might be the most knowledgeable outside of Harmony considering he has the most hemalurgic experience of them all and well you see Ruin personally puppeting you are bound to learn stuff) and the maybe the most possible Spook/Kelsier(the knowledge did come from them). I'm more fascinated by the fact that Lerasium works just as good as Atium which is personally the same essence as Hemalurgy. Gives me a clue that all godmetals might have the same capabilities as Trellium also so far showed just about any allomantic/feruchemical abilties.

I have read all except Darktower that your friend has read also read(or at least you listed). I suppose it depends on personal preference. Like i really prefer Sandersons "everything wrapped up to neatly" style as if you leave room for improvisation in the future it tends to end up in plot asspulls which i'm really sick of from any medium of fiction(this is unbelievably common on anime/manga medium even with fantasy novels). I just dislike retcons and just convenient plot twist without clear setup. So maybe your friend likes ambiguity in the plot. I don't. There is still a benefit in that style tho like for example Hyperion(scifi novel) didn't neatly wrapup everything(at least on the first book .. i decided not to read the next books .. it ended too well that i didn't wanna read the sequels that could ruin it) and it left so much room for imagination. It went really well IMO.

What was the first Sanderson Cosmere book you read?
goody153 replied to Mailnaise's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Mistborn: The Final Empire for me. It was just a random "what if i try reading this". That was a really good RNG that i had that day. -
@Jace21 Manipulation and tricking is not necessarily the same as leading as well. Admittedly Kelsier is good at achieving a goal but long-term stability of a region/kingdom is a completely different thing. I highly doubt he'd have the same capacity as Elend or the crazy Rashek. Actually ruling well requires good levels of empathy, economic understanding among many things (i mean Rashek understood all these things despite being really cruel but still stabilized the final empire enough that uprisings barely existed and Elend infact was looking after ). So just management pretty sure alot of leaders even Dalinar would do alot better than Kelsier would ever. You know cause you have not be a sociopath(read Sanderson's personal descriptions of Kelsier as you will realize he is incapable of this stuff) in order to actually run something like you have to care. Kelsier isn't also the only special being who can accomplish things. Infact if you think about it Kelsier has aloooot of failures despite his success while Rashek even had the foresight to plan when his death may come(you think Rashek can't bring down the final empire with the insane amount of planning he did that actually managed to work .. Kelsier isn't even on that level). Kelsier only planned to bring down the final empire not what happens after lol Kelsier is no doubt good when it comes to achieving some goal but he is not the only intelligent and capable person in Cosmere(Denth, Vasher, Dalinar, Mr. T etc etc) who is also capable of executing a plan to achieve something. Kelsier isn't special.

The beyond is basically "afterlife where you decide as a reader whether there is afterlife or not". I don't think sanderson will ever touch that topic ever.
