  2. Hurt Ruin, heal Taravangian (because his motivations aren't flat) 3. The Lord Ruler- 5 5. Ruin- 12 9. Bleeder- 25 15. Taravangian- 17 19. Mraize- 41
  3. Here's my thoughts on that: I started with a bad gut feeling about Bard, that's why I told him I was a Pirate After I gave Bard a bit of information in PM about someone who was targeting him, he turned around and accused me. The whole thing smelled suspicious. As for Kipper, Kipper for some reason always targets me. He has in MR15, QF17, and this one, the only three games I've played with him. I was confirmed village in MR15 and QF17 is ongoing, but accusing me seems like a quirk of Kipper's playstyle that hasn't changed from when he was village in MR15. As for Eol, I have no feelings for or against him. And I do think we need to get more active players. I voted Kipper earlier to spark some discussion, and almost nobody even weighed in. Also, I just died in QF17 so now have more time to play this game, so I no longer need to be lynched for schedule conflicts, @STINK. Finally, I'd suggest lynching Silverblade (and not me )
  4. I made the decision to claim that without thinking, then realized that I did something incredibly stupid. I tried to cover up but failed.
  5. Time to come clean, then. Orlok didn't reflect my ability. But I knew that he was an Unknown because my Unknown hit him for no damage. I couldn't have told the truth because a no-damage hit for a standard Pokemon is fairly common, although I knew that my Unknown hitting him for no damage meant that he was a fellow Unknown. I am an ARBOK, a Poison-type with a nasty attack that deals poison damage. I believe that Bugsy was hit by a fellow Arbok, although it wasn't me. To save Bugsy the trouble of wondering if he will die, the poison deals 1 damage at the end of the round for 2 rounds. Now you know that Orlok is indeed an Unknown, the deed is done. Orlok Elenion. And @OrlokTsubodai, next time you're an elim you can ruthlessly kill me, I deserve it. Although I do have one last question: how does Meta know exactly what Orlok is?
  6. You missed the second half of that phrase: "in a way that suggests he was trying to get on the wagons early to get himself soft-cleared". The difference between them is that when you wagoned on me it was for some very interesting reasons. I believed that what you were trying to do is put yourself in a win-win situation: I'm lynched elim and you're soft-cleared, or I'm lynched village and you joined early enough that you aren't suspicious. Reasoning, please? Or are you just killing me while I'm willing to go?
  7. So Orlok said he was hit by only 1 attack, and Meta and I both said we attacked Orlok! I don't know about allowing witches in Pokemon, @Ecthelion III, but a third-party deflection looks more and more probable. Edit: Can I get a vote tally to see where we stand?
  8. Looking at the exact wording, that could be the case. My PM says "The attack was redirected!", and I assumed that it was something that Orlok did. But just like we haven't found a Pokemon with that ability, I can't think of any Pokemon (in my extremely limited knowledge) that would cause such a redirection.
  9. @Metacognition @The Only Joe @Alvron When it comes to the redirect itself, I can only speculate that the reflect has a limit of once per round to avoid making it OP. Concerning the attack that went through, I find it interesting that it was Not Very Effective. Such a result could definitely come from a normal Pokemon, but it's also what I'd expect to come from hitting an Unknown that doesn't fit in the usual attack tables. And when it comes to me bluffing, you're wrong. If I was looking for a bluff I would have picked something a little more reasonable-sounding, such as my attack being Super-Effective yet not killing him thus evidencing an extra-HP Pokemon. But there's got to be more going on to explain this pushback against my effort to educate the general public: I think that you, Joe, and Alv are the ones bluffing. I was one of the most-allied players. Our alliance has seen some tough action last turnover: Eol was killed, Bugsy poisoned, and Lopen confused. With me gone, the largest alliance in the game crumbles even more, an alliance the existence of which the three of you have been opposing since it was formed. I'm not implying you're working with Orlok,--in fact, I highly doubt it--but I do believe that the three of you can spot a good opportunity when it comes around. But there is a remedy to this mess: lynch Orlok and see. When he turns out to be an Unknown, I will be vindicated. Edit: I'm going to bed now. I'll respond to all questions, concerns, accusations, etc. in the morning.
  10. When it comes to the redirect itself, I can only speculate that the reflect has a limit of once per round to avoid making it OP. Concerning the attacks that did go through, I think that both attacks being Not Very Effective is suspicious. Either you're using the same Pokemon (and now everyone would know Squirtle, assuming Joe's not bluffing), which is definitely possible, but I think it more likely that the target Pokemon exists out of the basic 3 types and therefore all attacks targeting it are Not Very Effective. And when it comes to me bluffing, you're wrong. If I was looking for a bluff I would have picked something a little more reasonable-sounding, such as my attack being Super-Effective yet not killing him thus evidencing an extra-HP Pokemon. New post coming. Sorry.
  11. I have no reason to lie, especially to get the target off of my team, because I gain absolutely no benefit from my alliance surviving until the end. I put that info out there because I deemed it in everyone (but Orlok)'s best interest to know that he could reflect attacks, and because I was feeling bitter from being cheap-shotted by my own attack. As for knowing a Pokemon with reflect, I haven't played Pokemon in years. But whatever Orlok has, it's got reflect.
  12. Unknown Pokemon discovered: Diglett (Alv) The Reflector (Orlok) The Poisoner (unknown, hit Bugsy) The Confuser (unknown, hit Lopen) Possibly what Mage is, else Mage is #3 or #4.
  13. Please elaborate: what is the PP cost of this ability? What is its cooldown? Do you have a standard attack as well?
  14. "I would have no need of your armor," Elenion said, sweeping his staff through his midsection and laughing slightly, "but I will accept your offer of a position." His voice now had a slightly-metallic ring to it.
  15. There were 5 unlock points, so I can assume 5 unknowns. We know things about 3 of them: Alv's (forgot-the-name): Can dodge the lynch, but from what he said it sounded like a once-per-game to me Orlok's (unknown name): Can reflect attacks back, dealing original damage. Trigger unknown, might be universal, once-per-game, PP-based, etc. The Anonymous Poisoner: Deals poison. I've speculated that the nature of the damage is 1 per cycle, but the duration is unknown, except maybe to the poisoner themself. @Magestar might be the Poisoner, but he might be something else. Would you care to comment on what specifically you are?
  16. I haven't ever known a single villager who has confessed to being a non-village alignment, probably because that's the best way to get lynched. I bet Silverblade is Neutral at best, Elim at worst. But I am pretty sure Silverblade is a Noble. Remember the time that I posted in thread that I knew a Noble and that Silverblade should PM me if he wanted to know who? Well he PMed me, and specified the name of the Noble I knew, without me giving the slightest clue as to who the Noble was. So either Silverblade is in fact a Noble or he's systematically convinced the other nobles that he is one too and hasn't yet messed up a Noble vote. But I can shed some definite light on why the Nobles voted Maill: The reason is that I contacted my Noble contact and asked him/her to put the Noble vote on Maill. Said contact has at least two other Noble contacts. My plan was to use my Duke vote and the secret Noble vote to put Maill's total an unexpected amount higher, to ensure I didn't get double-lynched with him. Aman then defended me in-thread, but I was in a class and hit construction on the way home, and so I got back after rollover, too late to tell my Noble contact to scrub that plan. The votes were cast, and even if Silverblade voted in opposition, my contact and his other contact (because I believe Silverblade was one of the two) would have overwhelmed the vote. TL;DR: We don't know if Silverblade voted Maill or not because a couple of Noble contacts of mine were voting Maill to save me.
  17. In the card game you take one damage per player turn. I can only assume here it will be one damage per cycle. The real question is how long does it last: a set number of turns, RNG'd with a chance of removing it, until you die, or something else.
  18. I think the alliances are going to self-destruct before long anyway. We lost Eol last night, Bugsy got hit up with a poison effect that doesn't sound good at all, and I got swarmed, plus hit by my own attack, and yet somehow avoided getting one-shotted.
