  1. It's Kaladin/Shallan in the cave during the flood!
  2. Granted. However, your muscles now move at half-speed, making productivity nigh impossible. I wish for a lawn that always looked freshly-mowed.

  4. But why would Eol be Bard's mole? Let's assume for a second that Bard is the patriarch. According to this write-up, Eol would have retained his original win con, so he couldn't have won with the Korathi. Eol's only shot at winning would have been to kill everyone else, and so telling Bard things about the Jeskeri would have been stupid. I think it far more likely that Eol was converted because Bard knew through contacts that he was a "bodyguard", and Bard wanted protection on his team from Chay-Shans. Therefore, even if Bard was the Patriarch, I find it highly unlikely that Eol would have told him about being a Jeskeri. If anything, Eol would have told the Jeskeri all about the Korathi. I think it far more likely that the Patriarch had a role-scanning ability as well as a conversion, but could only use one per turn. That would make it balanced and solve all of the problems with the Bard theory. But since the Korathi lack a kill as far as I can tell, I think that the Jeskeri are the greater threat and so my vote will remain on Aonar. Bard... I am your father! School starts tomorrow for me, so I'll be less active after that than I have recently been. However, I'll get on as much as I can, particularly in the evenings MDT.
  5. I didn't think the Jeskeri had a patriarch... Right now we're caught between the Korathi and the Jeskeri, and we need to kill a member of one of them to ensure they don't outnumber us. My biggest suspicions right now fall on Aonar and Rae; they both were tossing around some pretty serious allegations in what I think was a ploy to throw suspicion off of themselves. Of the two, I think Rae's vehement defense of herself suggests she is a Korathi, while Aonar's telling people he doesn't want to be converted makes me think he's a Jeskeri using reverse psychology to try to infiltrate. Now we have to decide who's the most dangerous. The Jeskeri have a (Practition? Practice?) that will trigger again N9. The Korathi don't have a kill as far as I can tell, because they wouldn't have killed Eol, and there weren't any other deaths. However, if any bodyguards blocked a kill last night, that would definitely complicate matters. Right now I'll vote on Aonar unless I get a reputable account from a bodyguard that suggests the Korathi have a kill.
  6. ^^That sounds right.
  7. Type in "I'll join as" followed by either your username or the name of the character you wish to role-play as. The GM does the rest.

  9. Yep, it's about the KRs (I in particular am a Dustbringer). Right now it's just writing character backstories; we're waiting for Assassin in Burgundy to get back from a camp and then we'll start rolling.
  10. There won't be a QF out until MR16 is over, so that will be a couple weeks. How about joining MR16? It looks pretty simple for a SE. If you do want to wait, it's looking right now that the next QF will be Rae's, which is on Sel.
  11. I'll join as Mandos; a strange being who has a habit of talking to the dead.

  14. It's Szeth facepalming. As for RP, I'm in a freeform RP called Desolations and Dustbringers (D&D), but we're at player cap right now. I'm also role-playing in SE's LG24.
  15. SE is Sanderson Elimination, basically a large (about 20 people) game of Mafia that takes place on one of Sanderson's worlds. Roles are based off of characters and abilites from that particular world. Some players (such as I) choose to role-play characters, but that's not required. Anyone who has played Mafia before can learn to play very easily, and even if you haven't the rules aren't too complicated. *muses* I am most pleased. Have an upvote.
  16. Len's breakdown (for a Quick Fix, the easiest game type): The players are divided into good guys "village" and bad guys "eliminators or elims" The bad guys have a Google Doc to scheme in that the good guys can't see Each round, the bad guys tell the GM who they want to kill Each round, everyone votes on who they want to kill After the round ends, the GM tells everyone about who died and what they were Then it repeats: the bad guys choose another target, and everyone votes to lynch someone else Some people have special abilities, but don't let that concern you too much
  17. Another one bites the dust.
