  1. Rad guess! Not so rad a guess. A tineye would have been EXTREMELY useful to the village, we can hope we have another one though. These are reasonable assumptions, but I wouldn't base my suspicions on them. I've learnt that role distributions CAN be deceiving (Fifth's last LG), and we need to remember that the fact that one of us may be converted was probably kept in mind when distributing roles. So if duplication of a certain role might seem too generous to the village, it does have the potential to be half as powerful if one of those players gets converted. I wouldn't say the same - if the lurcher does claim and continues self-protecting, they might just get killed. And if the Lurcher protects themself from the kill, there's a chance they might get converted. That involves a bit of guessing from both sides, but it is still risky. I'm worried that the list of unknown role players is already gotten too small and thus posing convenience for the inquisitor to start taking guesses at the remaining players' roles. ...you voted on them last cycle... 1. Furamirionind, Generally giving off village vibes, has referenced things they'd do as an elim multiple times as reasoning for their villagerness, which is pretty convincing in and of itself. 2. Cicada, Pretty cleared because role stuff 3. Xinoehp512, as Demmanu (Tineye) 4. DrakeMarshmallow, Same as Cicada 5. Stick 6. CadCom, Overall has been helpful, offered plenty of analysis. Though their first post today seemed a little odd to me at first read. Reading it over again now, I can't seem to figure out what exactly it was that bothered me about it. Overall, probably village? 7. Rathmaskal, Same as Cicada 8. Shanerockes Has not been posting heaps, but notably did jump on the wagon last cycle, adding the 5th and last vote on Aman. Could be seen as a blending-in tactic, but I don't know how sure I am about that. They say that they can't be the elim as they havent been active enough due to IRL stuff, but I believe that they were online at least once every turn to come on and post (which is highly appreciated), but unfortunately that also tells me that they were active enough to send in an order every other turn. 9. Butt Ad Venture, as Cornelius Steel (Smoker) 10. Devotary of Spontaneity, always impossible to read for me. My vote might go here, idk 11. Amanuensis, as Octun Renaud (Seeker) 12. Sart, has Aman's last vote going against him, but as we all like to say, 'confirmed good =/= confirmed right'. Except Aman did support his vote with sufficient reasoning, so that's something to consider. Has not done anything else much incriminating, though he does remain as one of the suspects simply because PoE. Yes, I am very well aware that I fall under the same category lol. 13. Snipexe (Rioter) WHEW that took 10 mins longer than I thought it would. And this post isn't even REMOTELY lengthy xD
  2. Oh man, just got a flashback from the Sixth of the Dusk game where Alv made a mistake about something regarding the rules and despite most people saying that was very sus I kept insisting on how elim!Alv would have no incentive in making such an error purposefully...And then I got lynched...and Alv turned out to be evil...Is this deja vu? I already said I haven't really read the rules all that closely, so the fact that I already knew exactly how the soother/rioter mechanics worked is potentially a pretty big tell. Also, there is the fact that I am focusing inordinately on the role of vote manipulators in the game in the first place. 2. Secondly, the fact that I insisted we "pretended to have a lynch". This action makes a lot more sense in light of the fact that I had control over more votes than just my own as a way to cancel a D1 lynch last-second. Those are what I could think of. I have no idea if I would have been able to piece it together, but the signs were there. I mean, I guess it's possible I...uhh xD
  3. @Amanuensis Is PoE the only reasoning behind your suspicion? I’m trying to think of a way I can prove my alignment. But as it stands, I would rather not role claim. *IKYK has entered the chat* Honestly, I would’ve asked that question in PM if I was a Seeker:P It’s been a long day so I’m going to bed for now but I promise I’ll think about the lynch tomorrow morning. I’m currently keeping a close eye on Shane and Sart, and Devotary’s in the little grey area as always. Fura I’m not sure about...leaning village I think, but idk. I haven’t forgotten LG55!Fura xD
  4. Drake and Aman are both village because 1) I don't see how elim!Aman would just "guess" a role like that, with the absence of PMs and all that. It's a pretty big slip. 2) I can see why village!Aman would post this: Probably because he needed to get Drake out of the suspect pool without giving his own role away, as he had previously heavily implied that he was roleless, presumably to lure out the inquisitor in some way. I don't quite fully understand how that would work, though. Village!Aman means village!Drake, for obvious reasons. The only problem is, Elim!Aman doesn't really operate as a conventional elim would, so this could be part of an elaborate plot, but I don't see what this particular move was meant to accomplish...get Drake to role claim? Then what? or maybe it was just a slip? but what kinda 'slip' even was that? Lol, the more I think about this the more uncertain I get. For now, I'm going with village!aman and village!drake. And to think...that we'll have to start from square one if the inquisitor converts someone o.O Vote to come shortly
  5. Right, while I did start the lynch on Snip with the intention of lynching them, I didn't think it would actually catch on. Kinda pleased with myself that it did, except they flipped village. Not too surprised there, in all honestly. Though I do think it was worth the shot. I can say with surety that Butt Ad Venture is almost definitely village unless THEY'RE the one playing mind games xD
  6. Thank you! Heh, it's pretty bad. Turns out the holiday homework was actually meant to be done :0 And because I have plenty of that stacked up, I'm in a pretty uncool position cuz now I have less than 2 days to do stuff that was meant to be done over 2 months! xD Regardless, that probably won't interfere much with my activity levels here as I said earlier. My timezone, on the other hand, will very much interfere. Thus this very late reply. xD I suspect that was probably because the window was left open on my laptop - I'm quite certain I wasn't physically viewing the thread that early in the morning yesterday xD Aw:P Well, it was worth a shot. Yes. Interesting. That's gonna be a little annoying though... After the conversion, it's gonna be almost impossible to tell apart the inquisitor from the convert just by analysing posts. Hm. Similarly, the lone elim at the moment is gonna blend in quite nicely I think. Now I remember why I'm not the greatest fan of games that start off like this xD I believe it was a poke vote Hey! I am offend! You're not wrong, though. But I've come to discover that that elim tactic is sometimes disadvantageous to confused!village!Stick xD Also, I don't think the inquisitor's spikes not showing up on scans was explicitly mentioned in the rules though? Was it? I feel like doing one of those read lists, so here's one. The words in bold are my current verdict on each player. 1. Furamirionind, as A Character - Almost everything Fura has said has been NAI, I've noticed 2. Cicada, as Ada - She seems pretty okay 3. Xinoehp512, as Demmanu - No posts yet, if I'm remembering correctly. 4. DrakeMarshmallow, as Tersin Forrelken - Is pretending to have a lynch - I'm not sure if he intends to take his vote off before the EOD, or if he's going to stick with it now that Fura's math has convinced him of lynching someone today. I don't know what to say about his vote on Rath - Rath's posted twice, iirc, and there wasnt anything particularly inquisitor-y in them. But I guess that's D1 for us, eh? As for the other (Sart's) vote on Rath, it seems to be a poke vote from the wording, but Sart hasnt indicated any intention of taking it off since. 5. Stick - 100% village 6. CadCom, as Tom - I've got a village read on Cadcom mostly because of this post. I know that's only half the list, I'll do the other half some other time xD I think I should probably use the little time I've left to vote. I lied when I said my school work wont interfere. Snipexe, because I know that their relatively minimal activity is common enough to not be dismissed as a "probably-village", and they've played that way in the past as an elim as well. And that's why it's practically impossible to sometimes tell if they're an elim. I know it's a 1/12 chance it's them, but I'm willing to take it Could you please elaborate on that last sentence? I'm not sure I understand the second half of it
  7. Hello, friends Like many of you here, the start of the school year is keeping me fairly busy and a pain to deal with, but I'll try my best to maintain good activity levels. Would be nice if we caught the inquizyboi in the first couple of cycles, eh?:P Regardless, hopefully I'll be able to contribute just as much as I normally do. Maybe. Probably. I must read the rules now, as I have forgotten whether I even read them in the first place before signing up xD Hm, with only one player being convertible, I'm guessing the inquisitor can use the remaining spikes on themself. Which is kinda worrying, but not so much as they still only get one action per cycle. Also, "Seeker - Can choose a player and learn all metals that their role is associated with, if any." So isnt the inquisitor role technically 'associated' with all the spikes? Because they possess one of each spike at the start of the game. So will all 7 metals show up on a Seeker scan? .If so, hehe tough luck, inquizyboi I like that idea:P You've poked a poor rando there xD I'm _Stick_ lol That is, in fact, not me once again. xD Does this vote technically not count then? xD I was gonna ask the same question, because shouldnt this mean charging a spike does NOT count as an action?
  8. I’m guessing Mark Every time you voted on me whenever you saw the chance to
  9. Aw crem I knew something was off about Striker 4 cycles. Good job elims. GG.
  10. I just don’t think an elim would make the claim that Alv did without thinking it through. Thinking it through would’ve made it clear to him that making such a claim won’t work since there are no secrets in this game.
  11. Is exploring the Sky Crane and the consequential lack of alibi the only reason behind the Alv lynch? This lynch is so weird
  12. I can still vote for Alv in self defense xD I don’t know if I should actually do that though...
  13. eeeee what if all the super active players are village? Not gonna lie, the lack of defense for Devotary is worrying. Drake’s the only one very vocally going against the Devotary lynch - something I don’t see an elim doing for a teammate unless they’re desperate. That shouldn’t be the case at this stage. Uff edit: you know, it’s really convenient for the elims to just sabotage stuff every cycle - they get closer to their wincon without narrowing down the pool of suspects as they would’ve if they’d chosen to go with the other method of reaching their wincon which involved revealing roles and hospitalizing more people...
  14. Alright. Devotary, while it’s true that offered a nice little bird name to claim that you received, it’s entirely possible you took that off from a third (first sends in the order for sabotage, second is the engineer and also sends in the order for sabotage) elim teammate’s action results. You’ve posted quite a bit but have rarely said anything alignment indicative. You were the second vote on Elandera (ninjad at this point by Aman), setting the lynch to a 2-way tie. Being the third vote on Aman would’ve been incriminating for you as an elim (assuming that Aman is village) and not voting at all would have also been suspicious to an extent given your active contributions throughout the cycle. (Ninjad by Burnt). You voted for Burnt last cycle with a bunch of questions with the vote hoping to get a response. She did answer those questions yet there was no follow up response from you and your vote stayed. Additionally your vote wasn’t manipulated, conforming that you aren’t a Navigator, which opens the window for the possibility of you being the elim engineer. (2 more ninjas Striker and Lopen). Yeah I’ll stop talking now Devotary.
  15. Does your suspicion for Devotary come from the fact that their alibi isn’t confirmable? Are there other reasons?
  16. Currently reading Burnt and Araris village. While it’s true that Aman can’t really be the saboteur due to being offline but that doesn’t cross him off the list of potential vanilla/non-engineer elims. That’s what I thought too at the time xD Oh well. That’s would’ve been nice for some PoE. It was the whole reason I even revealed the fact that I got one lolol I requested for the Kukupa Twins C1 but ended up with a lil Smew and I luckily received an Aviar last cycle as I’ve already mentioned. I know this in no way clears me of not being the elim saboteur but hey what else can I say. Slight villager vibe from Striker after reading this post. It seems very villagery. It’s mostly just my gut speaking though. Yeah so I have no idea who to vote for. Don’t wanna start tunneling on Drake plus his claims seem genuine, so I don’t know anymore. Alv is always hard to read, and same with Devotary. So I’m wary of those two. Also I’m certain the elim team has at least one of the barely actives/inactives so I’d be willing to dismiss one of those, except problem is I have no way of choosing one over the other - it’ll be a complete shot in the dark, and I don’t think the village is in a position to make a move like that right now.
  17. Not good. The elims are winning fast. Nothing has been repaired, which is super concerning. Hmm I don’t know if I should consider Drake and Burnt to be very very village given the lynch tie and all, or to consider them being in cahoots as elims. I can tell you right off the bat that I luckily received an Aviar upon the holding area being sabotaged, so narrowing the player list down to one player with a certain ability with a certain bird would be doable for me now, if a player shows signs of having used such abilities. @Alvron
  18. I don’t really agree with any of the lynch options currently available, so my vote once again goes to Drake . I’ve had a bad feeling about you for a while now, since your vote on Elandera. You also kinda disagreed with the elims’ choice of actions which I can see as good distancing. You publicly requested for a bird, which isn’t something a vanilla elim would mind doing. Unless nothing changes till rollover, I think my vote stays. I don’t know where I stand with regards to Burnt, though I think Burnt and Aman being E/E is plausible, given her defense for Aman last cycle, even though he’s inactive.
