  1. I'm assuming there's a total of 5 elims, from which 2 are dead, and 3 remain. List of alive players: 1. Queensteph - Vintish Noblewoman Village Read2. Hemalurgic Headshot (Noremac Quwester) - Aturan Nobleman Elim? Not an elim? Idek.3. Straw (Medicus Novis) - Yllish Commoner (expelled) Village read 4. Paranoid King (William Opuscule) - Yllish Commoner Depends on what his 'contact' has to say about Alv (if anything at all).5. Jondesu (Vell) - Yllish Commoner Neutral read6. Burnt Spaghetti (Dele Fajro) - Vintish Noblewoman (expelled) Village read7. Alvron (Stryker Nox) - Cealdish Commoner Neutral Read8. Arinian (Darian) - Aturan Nobleman (expelled) Village read9. Stick (Stick) - Aturan NobleStick Stick read10. Cluny the Scourge (Cluny) - Aturan Nobleman Village read11. Silverblade (Ryth) - Cealdish Commoner No read, hasn't really posted much12. Amanuensis (Esuan) - Yllish Commoner - No read (Though it's amazing how long he's been on the streets but not dead yet XD )13. BrightnessRadiant (Amelia) - Aturan Noblewoman (expelled) Elim read14. Eolhondras (Eolah) - Yllish Commoner No read, hasn't really posted much From the insane players (Orlok, Mage, Hael, Sart, Joe) I think Hael is the only one who naturally cracked? I guess he might be an elim but I don't think he is. I feel like I'm grasping at straws here. Maybe the only way for me is to go all chaotic villager and kill each of you one by one until I get the elims.
  2. @Paranoid King what exactly did your contact tell you about Alv that lead you to believe he's evil?
  3. @Paranoid King Would be easier if we knew who your mysterious PM contact is, and what information they gave you about Alv. But yeah. I know they're likely to get targeted by sabotage if you do reveal who they are. I'm also kind of wondering why you're alive. @Elbereth What effect does Sabotage have on players who've escaped from the Crockery? The elims could easily kill you, causing whoever your contact is to reveal themselves for the betterment of the village and then target them next...? They haven't done that yet. Call it paranoia but I'm beginning to suspect everyone at this point You're forgetting that if I were an elim and were trying to target you, I'd have my elims friends sabotage you instead. That would rid you of your abilities... edit: DONT FORGET TO PUT IN YOUR LODGING ORDERS. Unless you're an elim. Then you may rot on the streets. :]
  4. HH. His posts: 1) RP 2) RP things 3) RP 4) Votes on Mage for tuition reduction. Says not to take C1 seriously. Elim vibe. Keeping in mind that he's an Autran Noble, he didn't really need tuition reductions. Also, he casually threw in a vote saying that it shouldn't be taken seriously. I was charged with RUoS with no more than 1 vote on C1, so I think that the votes did need to be taken seriously. Elim vibe. 5) Removes vote from Mage and places it on Ornstein as Mage already had a vote on him. Ornstein is the same social class as HH. Still don't see why he needed the reductions. Slight elim vibe (as many players had voted with no reason that turn). 6) Responds to Steph's request to provide reasoning for his vote by asking which vote (Mage or Ornstein) she was talking about. Kind of unnecessary to ask which vote as he'd removed his vote from Mage. Neutral-ish read. 7) Says that he voted on Mage for tuition reductions. Doesn't matter that he's rich because he still wants the money. What did you need all that money for, hm? Slight elim vibe. 8) RP 9) RP 10) Explains that C1 shouldnt be taken seriously because it doesn't give a full picture of things. Considers voting on Drake as a response to Drake's vote on HH. Neutral read. 11) Says that he isn't staying at the Pony and Drake's vote on him will be unfortunate. Neutral vibe. 12) RP. Votes on Steph, agreeing with Orlok. Votes on DA. RP suggested he's studying Physicking. 13) RP 14) Is suspicious of Burnt ("Burnt Buys a Gram", for reference) and agrees with Wilson's thoughts on that, but accepts Burnt's defense. Removes vote from Steph. Seemed to agree with everyone, not really taking a side. And removed the vote from Steph with no reason. Elim vibe. 15) Votes on Arin for the field-claiming PM request. RP. 16) RP 17) Is busy and won't be posting but will post RP soon. 18) RP 19) Speculates that if there was no sabotage that cycle because one of the elims got expelled they players to keep an eye on Arin and Straw. Arin particularly. 20) RP. Says he'll consider the possibility of Aonar being evil. No read. 21) Votes on aonar twice. Note that this was after Aonar admitted to being a skindancer. Everyone would have voted on him then. Elim or not. Neutral read. 22) Mourns for Wilson. Says that it wouldve been better if Aonar has been role-bocked than expelled. Neutral read. 23) Assumes that Aonar has learned more than just one name. Neutral vibe. 24) Comments on Cluny's "vote on me" request. No read. 25) RP In most of these, HH has tried to stay neutral, which is what an elim would do. He revealed the fact that he was studying Physicking, which seems to me like a useful field for elims to study in. But I dont get why he would reveal that. To make the villagers trust him more? Also, why isn't Aonar dead yet? All of y'all with kills throw everything you have at the skindancer U_U And...I'm beginning to have second thoughts on whether Brightness is evil...bah.
  5. I'm very much not in favour of this double lynch idea because [insert whatever Rand said] plus, sometimes, lynching suspect one and learning their alignment might effect the suspicions we have on suspect two, based on many things. So the point about 'we'll lynch them sooner or later if we're suspicious of them anyway' isn't really valid, I think. A vote tally, anyone?
  6. Ah, sorry. So you're suspicious of the players who voted on Aonar? And I'm assuming you didn't include PK in the list because he exposed Aonar's alignment in the first place. But I don't think that *all* of us who voted on him are elims. One? probably. Two? Maybe. Again, brightness voted on him too and I have to take a look at her posts as soon as I can. Edit: I don't have time. I'll be next turn, probably. But in the meantime,Brightness. You're my top suspect at the moment
  7. What I got from the writeup: 1) A conversion took pace 2) BridgeBoy had proposed to someone who declined. Do the smedrys need to reveal their talents to the person they want to propose to in order to propose? Is the player BB proposed to an elim who didn't want a villager with the ability to look villager around? But they'd get the talent too, then. Why'd they decline? Or had they planned to marry someone else? 3) The crystin knights found a librarian..? Not sure if this one means anything
  8. Okay. Let's look at one of Wilson's last posts. I know. Confirmed good isn't confirmed right. But it prolly won't hurt to look at BrightnessRadiant's, Eolhondras' and Cluny's posts. As I said, we have to kill it. I've skimmed through Cluny's posts and I think I'm getting a village read. Particularly because he was ready to abandon this game in order to play in QF23, which I doubt an elim would do. [mentioned post below] Eol's posts: 1) Voted on Cluny as he was a noble with no other votes on him. Said that they feel like they're playing a solo RPG rather than a team elim game. Asked about PMs. Nothing to say here. 2) Disagreed with voting early in the game, said that "the only method for the village gaining information is through abilities (other than thread analysis), and that we shouldn't vote for no reason." Asked Drake to remove his vote from HH as he wasn't at the Pony. Said that if they were an elim they'd try to expel who aren't elevated yet as to ensure that they don't elevate and benefit the village. Could be elims with HH, subtly defending him, but I doubt that. 3) Voted on DA. Just like everyone else. 4) Pointed out that the ones staying at the Pony won't have the protection that the ones at the Horse would, so having the ones at the Pony reveal themselves isn't a good idea. Raised a good point. I could see elim!Eol saying this to prevent the lower classes get tuition reduction, but I'm not sure that's the case here. 5) Said they'd get up to date with the thread asap 6) Role-blocking Aonar rather than expelling him would be better. Suggests that we cast no more than 4-5 votes on him. Wouldve voted on Wilson for defending Aonar and for going after people without much evidence (i.e Burnt with the gram) if he could. I guess this is why Aonar casted both his votes on himself last cycle? To have a better chance at expulsion than being charged with reckless use of smpathy? The point about Wilson is obviously wrong now that she's cleared. 7) Questions Wilson's Imre strategy. I think this added weight to Wilson's suspicions on them? They expressed suspicion on Wilson before this, so elim!Eol might have been trying to get he village to distrust Wilson, but I dont see what an elim would get out of that -chances were high that Wilson would die on the streets anyway. And he was presumably targeted by the skindancers today but had protection. Could have been a WGG...? I honestly can't get a read on Eol. But I think I'm leaning village? Gah. Brightness, though? My gut's been telling me something's off for a while now. I'll be looking at her posts next.
  9. I said that's more likely to happen this cycle. Because we wouldnt want to marry an elim and give them useful powers edit: wait this isnt very clear is it. What I'm trying to say is that Smedry villagers arent likely to marry this cycle
  10. KILL IT WITH FIRE We should probably go through her posts and votes and things. Which I shall attempt to do when I have the time to.
  11. --Okay, got a little time to post-- So the villagers most probably wont marry this cycle, right? Because we don't want to risk marrying an elim. So whoever does marry this cycle, I'd be pretty confident of their elim...ness. As evil Smedrys would want to share their abilities with their teammates as soon as possible. @A Joe in the Bush how will marriages be announced? Like will it name the players or just a general announcement stating that a marriage took place? I probably missed it in the rules. Though I suspect it's the latter -specifying the players' name would make this easy :-P Am I correct in assuming there are 4 elims? Also, I didn't know they have a one-time use conversion power until I reread the rules just now >>
  12. Isn't it better not to answer to this? I mean, whoever is planning to kill Aonar probably doesn't want the elims to know that lest they get targeted by them :-P
  13. Oh, thanks *faceplams Well. Voting on Aonar wont be enough. Need to arrange for a kill, too
  14. Huh. Wow okay. Aonar. Nice RP Unfortunately, Aonar hasn't said much in the previous cycles for us to look into >> 1) RL thing about not being able to post for some time. 2) Encouraged voting and voted on Wilson because she could 'take another two free votes' that cycle. 3) Informs us that he probably wont attend the university until till next term because his tuition will be garbage. Also says that he needs to post more. 4) Complains that he wanted to be elevated in Naming and had hoped to get Wind last turn. Mentions that he's in Imre. And that's it :/ Oh, and from the rules: To all of y'all that played this game before/GMs: What exactly does that mean? Killing them? Expelling them? Both would get them out of the university.
  15. I should probably catch up with last turn’s posts now >> Oookay, lotsa stuff back there. Wilson: What causes the prices to vary? BrightnessRadiant: Your post seems to suggest that you weren’t really suspicious of anyone but you needed to vote just for the sake of voting. And I don’t think the tuition reduction was crucial for you, being an Aturan Noble. You did vote on Stink shortly after that, not long before the turn got over. I guess there was a good chance that he'd get brought on the horns since only three other players had any votes on them. Alright. Lots of things this turn. Only seven elevations though. Why aren’t people filing EP/Masters elevating? Were the all in Imre or something lols And yeah, like Brightness asked, what does Orlok’s insanity being recognised mean? Basically what I said, yeah But wasn’t last turn’s write-up supposed to contain the list of names of the players that were on the streets like it did on T2M1? Am confuse
  16. I'm in school right now, but I'd like to say that I'd been waiting for someone to get charged with undignified mischief and RP a formal apology since the start of the game XD Also, yay for elevation. Like, finally.
  17. ... Am I like ever getting elevated or wat As for Rand's death, since all offensive actions take place before the insanity roll, I don't think it's likely that he got sabotaged after he naturally cracked. But I'm probably missing something. He could have forgotten to send his lodging order in, causing him to end up on the streets. Probable.
  18. Actually, I did intend to vote in order to reduce the chances of me being brought of the Horns, but I'd messed up the rollover times and the turn was over before I knew it and along with that went my chance to vote :-P Then I found myself being charged with reckless use of sympathy. Tragic story, really. [I'd like your read on me to stay as it is though ]
  19. Here's what I said: Threatening, but not equally threatening. I mean, Naming obviously surpasses the others. From the write-up:
  20. 1. BrightnessRadiant 2. Aman 3. Stick 4. Assassin 5. Ornstein 6. Straw 7. Wilson 8. Randuir 9. Hael (INSANE) 10. Silverblade (INSANE) 11. DA (DEAD) i guess those are the ones not elevated
  21. I guess he requested the field exchange in thread to keep his PMs to a minimum number (as asking through PM would affect his post:pm ratio), though I agree that he didn't need to vote on Alv to do that
