  1. I'm a bit wary of both, actually . Flash more than Lopen, I haven't looked at Lopen's posts yet. Another person who's posts I want to analyse is BR. @asterion137 Going through all those spoilers on mobile was torture just saying :P About these Aman and Rand lynches...I dunno. I don't think that getting one of their alignments confirmed is going to give us much of a headway on the other's. If we lynch Aman and he flips elim, then the possibilities are that A, Elim!Aman pocketing and B, Wilson's tinfoil theory. In the case on Aman flipping Village, Rand could literally be any alignment. If we lynch Rand -oh look ninja'd by Rand- and he flips elim, there'd be a chance of Aman being evil but then again evil people don't defend their partners so openly but then tinfoil. Bah. If Rand flips Village, Aman could be literally any alignment. I personally don't think Aman is evil but who knows. I mean he did something in the championship like 'I could def pull off this top-villager thing even when I'm evil' and I've seen him do it in...MR18? Yeah. Just checked. but like. :thonk:
  2. Flash's N1 posts: 1) Says he'll post soon 2) Apologises for for not answering Aman's question last turn. Says he'll post analysis soon. 3) Expresses annoyance at number of PMs. Says he'll post analysis soon. 4) Finally posts 'the post' Elim reads [gut or otherwise] were: asterion, Drake, Yitzi, and Rae. Village [mild and strong, both]: PK, Len, BR, Arin, Wilson, Seonid, Crimsn, Stick, Lopen and Aman. The rest are either not-sure-of, or nuetrals. Just taking note of this. 5) Questions how Yitzi knows that elims tend to be scared of Aman. 6) Comment about drop bears. 7) Accepts Yitzi's explanation of point in post 5. Says he'll be keeping an eye on him anyway. 8) Says gut reads are a village thing. Hard to fake for elims. 9) Has a better idea of whats going on. 10) Looks forward to hearing from Dalinar. 11) OOG things 12) OOG things 13) Says that it's a possibility that Rand wanted us to think that antagonizing the neutrals to swing elim is a move too risky for an elim to make. So...all of these posts are pretty much NAI Except for post 4. @The Flash As for the PM thing you talked about...BR's last post last turn said so...yeah. I think I'll keep my vote on you for now. And huh @Yitzi2. I'm not sure what to think of that vote. Anyway, I'm signing off for today, so I'll talk about your post tomorrow.
  3. Joe had asked Straw if he was elim and said that he and the ward would help him if he is, this was why he revealed it, iirc does this mean I'm one of your big suspicions? Aw
  4. Flash's D1 posts: 1. Confused because he hasn't read the thread due to rl commitments. NAI. 2. Expresses doubts in Joe being the convict and making a deal with the PO and questions why Joe's role-claim would indicate he wants an alliance. NAI, I think. 3. RP. NAI. 4. Reminds us that he's alive. And places a vote on Straw bc PMs. Joined the bandwagon, but didnt really give reasoning beyond 'I dont trust PMs'. Mild elim read. 5. Responds to Straw's request for reasoning. Quoting this post: So his reasoning is basically a) It's D1 and D1s usually go like this. True, I guess. b) Following better minds than his will 'work'. This gives me an elim vibe, tbh. How would you know if the more experienced players are to be trusted? They could be evil, it's almost like you know they're villagers. c) Straw's lynch will give us info. What information would it have given? I mean, part of why I didn't vote on Straw was exactly that- it wouldn't have given us like any useful info. 6) Retracts his vote after Straw tells him to vote on Rand if Flash wants the neutrals to help the village and that he's annoyed that he joined the wagon. Flash then places the vote on Stink. Says he wasn't paying close attention to the thread. I..don't know what to make of this post. The fact that he voted on Stink right after agreeing with the post that says he'd want the neutrals to help the village suggests he wasnt exactly caught up-to-date with the thread. It also throws me how quick he was at retracting his vote, like Straw didnt really give him a valid reason to- reasons that would counter why Flash voted on him in the first place. Though he claimed that he had just seen that the wagon was partly unfounded. This could either be an elim trying to go with the flow, or a confused villager. I think I'm going to go with the latter, not sure. 7) Removed his vote from Stink after I informed him he claimed neutral and asks who to vote on. Slight village read on removing vote off Stink, slight elim read for asking whom to vote on. Like, I think an elim would try to appear village by doing things like this; though it's not a very strong case, so only a slight elim read. 8) Aman tells Flash to vote on whoever he believes could be evil and asks for Joe's opinion on Rand, and Flash responds by asking Joe for his views on who he thinks could be evil. Dodging the question? He did analyse every player later on- during the Night turn. Not sure. 9) Agrees with Orlok's post about Rand trying to appear village and swinging the neutrals towards the elim team. Places vote. Tells Aman he took notes and found people he's suspicious of, but he'll wait and use it later. If he had solid suspicions, I dont see why he'd hesitated to share them. Was Orlok's case against Rand stronger than his against the players he was suspicious of? [this is kind of answered in his next post]. Still don't see why he'd have rather shared his suspicions later on than now. Elim vibe. 10) Says that Rand is, in fact, one of the players he's suspicious of after Aman asks. Also says that there's more players he's like to mention, but will hold 'for the sake of not making this day any more confusing than it already is'. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 11) Says he doesn't trust his suspicions, when Jond prodded him to share. Says he'll share them tomorrow and that he's relatively new, hence his caution. He earlier claimed to have 'solid' suspicions, and now he isn't very sure of them. Mild elim vibe. Whew this took longer than I thought it would. For now, Flash. This might change after I take a look at his N1 posts, though. If Flash flips evil, I'll have a stronger Village read on Rand, I think. edit:ninjad a lot edit2: not exactly ninjad but all the posts after stink's didnt appear until after i posted so..same dif edit3: random emoji that needed deleting
  5. Believe it or not, I've seen a Stick on Earth too. What does this mean?
  6. @Arraenae Lol it's not from the championship. It's just something I said (feigning ignorance) during a Wolfia game in the discord sever that apparently 'cleared' me for the rest of the (3-minute) game. I was evil and I won
  7. her :P But sometimes, I, as an elim, do ask questions/make comments that would seem like something anyone paying attention would know better of. And it's not very eyebrow-raising because I generally tend to ask obvious rule-related questions anyway :P Though this was genuine, or I wouldn't have corrected my mistake, I guess XD Same. @Dalinar Kholin yo where you at The only way for someone to be hard cleared village is to say the following words: Do the wolves know who their teammates are and can I have the gun
  8. I prefer 48 hr night turns. Also, discussion isnt pointless because, like, when players die and make their alignments known, it's good to have some posts of theirs from earlier discussions and stuff to analyse. But yeah, we probably shouldn't make these CFD things an every-cycle thing.
  9. Wooo tried to get an idea of how elim!rand operates by reading lg30 but dang that game is hard to get without actually reading the ruleset [which I didn't]. But, I did get that most players had a village read on him. A quick glance at the elim doc [that is one long elim doc.] told me he had various strategies and things, and he played his parts carefully. Given his vote on Joe and its timing, it might just be a villager acting on their instincts. I'm not like entirely convinced he's village, though. I'm open to the possibilities of him being an elim or the PO. If he's evil, I'd say he's teammates with Straw- he was the one who revealed that Joe claimed neutral in-PM and offered to help the elims- trying to get the neutrals against the village. Yeah...I feel like elims somehow just won't let one of their teammates get lynched D1 [or come dangerously close, even], which is part of why the wagon on Jond at the end seemed better, I guess. Less time till rollover = less time for elims to try and persuade others to steer away the lynch from a teammate= better chance of getting an elim. But well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  10. I just didn't get your post and how the two things were related (breaking ties being suspicious and that bunch of people not being elims). And I thought you were stating that's it's just impossible for said people to be elims and that got me confused. I got it later, so it's ok Edit: somehow I didn't notice the existence of this entire page O.o Reading now
  11. k I totally misread that. I read it as 'The only thing in our favor is that it's pretty much impossible that I, Rand, Straw, Joe, Crimsn, Orlok, Stick, and Brightness are elims.'
  12. Just noticed that cluny and I were the only ones who implanted spikes heh. And I didn't even get to use my hemalurgy powers >>
  13. Last turn was crazy, catching up with 6 pages+throbbing head+3 mins left+phone ran out of charge+scrambling to get my tablet played a part in why I didn't really give an explanation for sayin I'd vote Rand over Straw or Yitzi. It was mostly [apart from the vote on joe] because I thought figuring out Rand's alignment would give us more useful info than the others. And like, I wasn't that suspicious of Yitzi, but well...Could we have a seeker scan him tonight? Straw's lynch would've given us like zero info, whether he flipped elim or village. I guess it would make me a bit wary about Yitzi; he had subtly defended Straw last cycle, iirc. But yeah. Rand alignment wouldve made me certain of what to think of Aman, for exmple, though I'm leaning village rn. And he expressed suspicion on Straw too, I think, so we couldve gotten something out of that? Hm. I should probably read Rand's elim game, I think. LG30, was it? edit: nvmd about the seeker thing, just realised that the seekers scan only what metals, if any, one has burnt, not alignments so...
  14. Yay we won! I played for like one cycle, but it was fun. Good job winning the game guys. and thanks for running the game, Seonid
