  1. Just butting in to say I exist, but the last couple days have been busy and it's going to take a VERY long time to catch up on 370 posts. I'm not going to vote now because I'm uneducated as to what's going on and I don't want to be a sheep.
  2. Don't have much time to post but it wasn't me on either Cloud or BB.
  3. @BrightnessRadiant So far a vote on you and a vote on me, this is a bad omen Socrates Smith, more widely known as the archenemy of Plato Andersen, also sat in the missile room. Already there was a strange man accusing him of being an alien. That disconcerted him. People these days were so quick to violence. People these days were also so quick to pass judgment on what everyone else said. Smith didn't really see a point in listening to people's strategy tips when he wasn't sure they weren't themselves an alien. People these days were also so quick to lose trust, the voice in his head said. He tried not to listen to it too much, if he could help it.
  4. Just realized Orson Ansed is basically an anagram of Sanderson, with one extra letter I have time for a QF, so I'll sign up. Character to come.
  5. These thematic roles are too good to miss Darius Castel isn't loyal to anyone or anything but his own sense of morality. Despises his younger brother for some reason.
  6. I'm a bit disappointed nobody read my parting words...I thought after my actions, BB had said some pretty out-of-the-box stuff and I tried to cast a bit of doubt on him. Guess not *shrug*
  7. Parentheses were me, sorry for not clarifying that
  8. My never mind edit actually applied to a previous edit where I had asked for a vote tally but then realized there had been very few votes cast. I accidentally erased the previous edit. It should look like The actual post still matters. @Metacognition
  9. Sorry, it's rather late in the cycle, but there aren't many votes out and I'd like to place my vote on Cloudjumper because he's just made one post this cycle which tries to assume what the eliminators are doing (didn't Flash get a lot of flak from that?) and attempts to reinforce suspicion on Cluny without actually voting on him. Plus, this doesn't have as much weight, but it was clarified on p. 4 that the game is role madness, so it doesn't come as that much of a surprise to me that the eliminators are hitting lots of good roles.
  10. Elenion: 1. Absolutely! (Though, edit your post so it doesn't say that publicly ) 2. "If I receive it before the write-up is posted, it will be posted in the write-up. If not, it will be edited into the most recent write-up as soon as I receive it." (He also clarified that with the latter case he would post a message in thread stating that the write-up had been edited with a scribe message.) 3. Yes, messages are not anonymous.
  11. Elenion wanted me to post these @randuir 1. A scribe does not get access to the dead doc until they submit their writing. 2. No, Yes. They can wait however long they want before submitting it. 3. The nobleman doc starts anonymous but the number of noblemen in the doc will be announced. If they want to declare their identity, however, that's totally okay.
  12. @Metacognition Well, if you look back at the original post made by Lopen, it was clear that he had both of those thoughts in mind when he posted. He said that 1) the lack of the kill was intentional and 2) he took advantage of the situation in the same sentence. So according to his (and my) logic, or at least my interpretation thereof, the eliminators did intentionally not make a kill, and then used that in their favor ("taking advantage of the opportunity"). So the syntax makes logical sense to me at least, with "taking advantage of the opportunity" not necessarily meaning one didn't know about it before it happened. However, the syntax itself is unimportant when it's the underlying meaning that really matters. Elim! You didn't make a kill N0 and then used that to put suspicion on PK. Is that faulty logic? Edit: never mind
  13. @Jondesu I was just going down the list of players. 1. Meta hasn't posted at all this cycle. While this is explained by his RL reasons, I would like to hear something from him 2. The reasons Lopen mentioned; to quote him: "I think the lack of a kill on N0 was intentional [and we haven't seen a reason why not], and once PK got detained, Meta saw a chance to take advantage of the opportunity that not making a kill gave him." 3. His attitude toward Flash bugs me a little. I trust Flash (see earlier). Meta says "you're [Flash] far too knowledgeable about the going-ons of the Ventures" even though all Flash did was be paranoid about dying because he claims/has a power role and it's publicly known.
  14. I just got done looking back over everything Brightness posted, and man, for being alive 3 cycles she gave us frustratingly little to work with. She did make a point of asking multiple times why Orlok chose to block PK, which makes me more inclined to want to trust Orlok as village. She also expressed gut suspicion of Lopen [village] but no suspicion either way of Dalinar or Cluny, which makes me slightly less inclined to trust Cluny as village. Lopen died shortly after posting his reads, and one of the people he marked as suspicious turned out to be an eliminator. (For reference, this is Elenion, Araris, Meta, Brightness, and Sart.) We've already heard from Elenion, and his read on Araris was just gut, so I'd like to hear from @Metacognition.
  15. This is mentioned often at the beginning of the book. Has there been an official explanation? Since this is Brandon there's probably a science-y explanation other than it being made of tungsten or something.
  16. Plus everyone else would instantly know you were the god because of your post structure.
  17. I just meant that to mean I'm village and I think he is village. But people (including/especially you) tend to jump on whomever explicitly claims to be village.
  18. No @Stick I trust that he's telling the truth but I don't wholly agree with him. He's as much in the know as I am, and vice versa.
