Thank you @Oversleep for noticing my mistake. spoilers (kinda) to SoS About effects of transplanting soul parts from animals to humans - I belive that incapable transplantation would have terryfing side effects, hut I think that if you had a help of Harmony (or an awful lot of practise) you could transfer strenght or senses very purely. I have also a theory that if you used dozens of weakly charged spikes from diffrent kinds of animals you could ballance out side efects, so you would end up with stable and reasonable outcome, although probably phisiologicaly diffrent than humans. (But to make something like that and countereffect the weakening of mind due to many changes, you would have to also include zinc and copper spikes, what would have interesting changes in your psychology).

There is a WoB that hemalurgy can work on animals. That makes me belive that if somebody stole human aspect like strength, he could give it to an animal. But how faar can it go? Could it be posssible to stal an aspect from animal and give it to another one,? Maybe someone could even steal it from animals and give it to humans? If it would be possible people could farm animals for their hemalurgic strength of body and senses by creating blessings similar to ones made from kandra. It would be also possible to create incredibly strong hounds or horses, with impresive senses. We could make diffrent animals more loyal with zinc spikes made from dogs (preferably these ones who are so old or sick that should be put to sleep), or improwe their mental capabilities with copper spikes. It would open a whole new ways of changing human body considering how much a kandra can do regardless of what hemalurgical charge is in their spikes. Do you think it is possible? What else could be made with these capabilities?

There is a quote in Hero of Ages which was more-less "I gave them brvery, and took from them some of their fear, but the determination came from them". The quote might be a little off, because I am reading Mistborn in Polish, and also I read it yesterday, and I memorized it because determination is storable by ferychemy.

I don't think a windrunner could use a medallion, unless he had a parent with scadrian blood or a proper hemalurgic spike. (Probably any allomatic or feruchemical ability would be enough).
-
It should at most affect the cerbellum (part of brain responsible for movement and coordination), not all brain functions, because that would make zinc completely irrelevant. I found the WoB, but I can't copy it, because I have it on another device, and there is something weird with my computer and theoryland. It says that speed makes you rezistant to most effect, but not air friction. But skydivers fall at speed of 56 meters per secound, and are completely fine - and even that speed makes you OP. If you have this much speed with a sword you would be unbeatable, even if you had normal response time to stuff (without f. zinc). Edit: @Eki There is WoB that you coud store around 75% of your speed.

If that realy works as a time streaching, that means it makes you think faster, and therefore also does everything that zinc would do, and diffrent powers schouldnt overlap that much. Let's imagine: for 5 hours you store 20% of your speed, and lets say you can normaly walk 5 km/h, which mean you have hour extra of speed, so you can move in distance of a whole 5 kilometers that you can travel in any given speed, even in a split secound {Shadows of Self} so with a simple 2 hours of storing and a knife you could just stand less than one kilometer away from someone, in a split second run towards him, cut his throat, and come back to place where you used to be in the begining, the guy dies, and you even aren't suspected.

Can gold healing reconstruct things that are not your body?
Szmit replied to king of nowhere's topic in Mistborn
Just gold metalmind - I don't think so. But if you enchanced your Identity a lot... mabye? -
Do you mean steel ferring with knife could kill anybody? Or do you belive there are other restrictions? Well moving slowly doesn't seem to be dangerous at all. If you move 4 times slower while reading a book you don't suffer much, worst case scenario - you get tired due to storing. Sazed doesn't tap much, doesn't have active live style, so should have a lot of speed stored when Kelsier asked him in Final Empire, not only 3 hours.

Tapping wakefullness is like sleeping, so you can just tap 8 hours of sleeping, and it would act like a normal sleep, wit all the help towards memory. Constantly tapping wakefulness is like powernapping very very often, without negative sideefects.

I had some thoughts and theories about possible effects of feruchemical powers and I decided to share it with You in hope of some brainstorming. Steel Feruchemy (spoiler to SoS) steel feruchemy seems more similar to time stopping than a speed travel. It seems preaty OP, because super speed requires also muscle memory, and certain responce to sences to maneuver. Thar would indicate that a steel ferrin with a lot of full metalminds just kill anybody with sword or knife. Although in Mistborn 1 Sazed said storing it is more difficult than other aspects. That leads me to belive you have to walk or run to store speed. That would set certain limitations on tapping. Basicaly it wouldnt affect any type of movement than walking and running. So in a sword fight you could move your position a lot faster, byt not thrust or cut with any extra speed - except of beter charge. Byt it would give you good way of suprizing oponnent, changenging beween long distance and short distance combat and backstabbing. Pewter Feruchemy There I basicaly wonder if a lot of pewter tapping can make you grow your bones larger. This is not completely irrational considering that tapping pewter allmost always causes growth of skinn tissue. Feruchemist are supposed to be able to tap metalminds at any rate and withought bone growth rapid tapping of pewter would change you into a giant swedish meatball. The idea came into my mind when Sazed said that while tapping strenght of five men he was similar to colos in size. I do belive that he didn't meant size, but I realized - why not. Feruchemy and hemalurgy of strenghth seem to have similar basic funcrion - rip strenght out, and then give it back. It would affect bones a lot lighter than hemalurgy, but it could anyway. Actually I believe when twins become epics, calamity doesn't chose a person, but a DNA code, that becomes connected with powers.

David and his father just wasn't enough XD.

(1) I do belive Endowment could return a Scadrian, Rosharian, or prety much anyone who has enough investiture in their soul, to stay for some time after death (Drabs are said to be only people we've seen withought investiture at all), as long as they are on her planet, although I don't think she would do this, when they have no connection to her (there is something similar in Mistborn Secret History). (2) I understand that he wouldn't return him again to help him with his job, but what if he has done his job, and she would want him to do another one? Like for example: "Hey! Thank you that you stopped this war from happening, but you know what would be great? If you returned once again and prevented this disease from becoming an epidemic! I know it's a lot to ask, but you are the best doctor I have on hand!"

... About the drab thing, mabye we might consider breath as para-hemalurgy. When a person looses part of a soul, they don't have it in cognitive realm. Maybe when you die with breath you survive longer, and as a drab you disappear almost immediately. About double returning: imagine you get one job, you do it, then somebody kills you, but then somehow because of your abilities, or something like that, you are the best person to do another job, so you return again. Plus one thing. Imagine somebody not from nathlis gets a breath and dies. Is he connected enough to return? Since drab already isn't, and this magic is based on endowment?

2. I'd classify duralumin thug as hulk level power, and Capitan as very powerful thug but nowhere near the power of duraluminum. 3. I think, that atium should work on fire and by extension on repulsors. Plus eventually she always has spectrum - the most underappreciated mistborn power.

Feruchemical iron gives you also resistance to damages while tapping (Kalladin could have broken the shardplate withought breaking legs, and with beter penetration), you can cheat on speed because of conservation of momentum (break sound barier), and fully storing iron is like parachoute. Personaly I think that Forgery (mainly soul) and f-Aluminum would be best for me. There are many things I wish I could do, and mabye I could, if I've cacrificed my live to it, and I belive, lack of identity could make essence marks a lot more effective and capable. About coolest powers: chromium compounding. I realy wish I had it. Butt absolute best is Alcatraz'es talent + f Nicrosil = breaking anything only when you want. But it's not fully cosmere.

I don't realy belive that any of these systems filter investiture from one of shards. People of Elantris are LITERALY GODS, which does seem like effect of dominion, and Dakhor surely requires a lot of devotion to be used. As far as I see it EVERY Dor-based-system requires a lot of devotion to master, and in exchange gives you dominion over something.

Nicrosil Compounder Awakener wouldn't make infinite breaths, but the same amount of super powerfull breaths, i think (like divine breaths) - what would also be super cool: get a thousant of breaths, and every one of them would be powerfull enough to (for example) awaken tree (Ent army!!!), which is still super op. Plus he could trade on super breath for a lot of small breaths - every one of them gives you immortality. About other combinations: Mistborn secret hisory spoiler And another one: WoR spoiler

To defense of dual wielding (in any combination), it seems to be an often event when one parries a shardblade with shatdplate gauntlet, what damages the gauntlet - so if not very unhandy dual wielding might be quite helpfull even as defence tactic.
-
Maybe he used to be a eager warrior, and after breaking the oathpact he went full 180? I don't know, but it is a cool theory.
-
Two shardblades aren't that good. But a shardblade in a good hand and nightblood in the other??? The biggest problem about dual wielding is coordination, and nightblood can move independently from your will.

Is it just me or do you really don't like Navani
Szmit replied to Megan's topic in Stormlight Archive
Sincerly, I don't see her as a ful character yet, merly a plot device. I don't care for her, and I doubt I will, unless Brandon will involve her a lot more actively into the story. However Steris in the beginning of tAoL was in a very similar state. She starts as a character we dont like or dont care about, so if she'll get a role in which she'll become sympathetic, we would care for her even more because of the progress. -
In one of them was memory, so it sounds like a resonable assumption that these are copperminds.

What about Terris order of Keepers? They possesed A LOT of usefull knowledge in their metalminds. The process of tapping metalmind is described to be like reading a book. Imagine how much could you learn if you read a bunch of books about medicine, engeniering, other languages or history ten times in a row! You could tap instantly a whole five years of theoritical studies. It wouldnt b as good as participating in it actively, but infinitely faster, and could be ballanced out with some practical exercises to shortly after.
