I would say this isn't to focus on grandfather, but just to distance himself from father. It seems like calling someone 'son Neruto' would be a more indirest way to call Szeth. Just feel likeif he wanted to be associated with his grandfather he would call himself Szeth grandson Valano, not Szeth son son Valano.

It is not entire soul since Heralds consider Jeseren dead, so it would most likelly work more like hemalurgically giving someone attribute of beeing a herald. Especially considering that Sanderson said that dagger uses similar principles to hemalurgy.

Odium said himself that if he was freed he would destroy Cultivation, Honor's splinters and reorganise Roshar. Dalinar could probably make a deal that would guarantee Rosharian humans safety, but even that would cause a lot casualities of Roshar.

Pictures: Strong steel cutting laser uses 50 times more power than old strong lightbulb. She would of course have to use stronger lasers, and her light is probably closer to led efficiency, but still the lasers don't take that much. I'd assume that killing with laser should take less investiture than burning something copletly using dustbringer flame. Lasers are so good because they are efficient at using energy to cut.

So I probably misinterpreted why Nale was so chill when Szeth told him about it.

Aren't the voices in shadows he hears throughout the books caused by Skybreaker powers interference?

I was tired. The analogy and assumptions went way too far.

Radiant and spren are conected in spiritual realm, not phisical or cognitive so transfering investiture would be copmarativelly hard. Moreover we know that aons and elen that big aon on Sel are not viable way to power Nightblood, because he would quickly eat investiture gateway. Aon Investiture is surely easier to acces than Spren's Investiture, so Szeth's soul would be probably long gone before Nightblood could do any ral damage to Spren.

My mistake, for some reason i thought that Dawn's Shadow was Urithiru's other name.

We have 10 essences, 10 heralds, 10 orders, 10 surgess, 10 focus points, 10 pairs of attributes and they all allign perfectly. I wonder wheather this allingment works with 10 Silver Kingdoms. We were always told that Alethi are the closest to Honor, and they are very war focused so they are probably of 1 - Jezeren - Windrunners. In the Natanan there is Urithuru, so probably 10 - Ishar - Bondsmith Makabakam is probably 2 - Nale - Skybreaker because of their attention to rules Thalach is probably Willshapers because It's now land of merchants Rishir is probably Edgedancers because Reshi and Herdazians are verry free-spirited Iri would be truthwarchers because they are delicate. Thoughts? MAPS:

Looking for a second opinion for a Fanfiction idea
Szmit replied to Mistbreaker's topic in Sanderson Fan Works
Considering that terminal velocity is 55 m/s and she needs 30 m/s that would give her a vector of resistance equal to half of gravity which is like running in on a 30 degrees stair case (so not the worst) with 1.4 times the gravity. Since she is running 30 m/s instead of human normal 12.5 m/s lets say she isnt using her max and is running 3 × 10 m/s. Since speed is trippled, felt gravity is divided by 3 which is 0.47g. Even on a 30 degrees stair case with half gravity running is not that hard. And if she used 6 time modifier she wouldn't probably even get tired. Edit: usefull formoua for charging time for running on water: CT = (modifier-1)*distance/30 I'm using meters and secounds everywhere- 6 replies

Investiture seaks sapience, but also creates. Shard also requires a phisical aspect. I'd say if for example some shard pushed a vesselles shard into animal, it would create weaker but functional shard, just like Can we do SH spoilers there?

BrandySandy said that using lerasium for a spike is like using a nuclear bomb as a paperweight. My proposition is that it steals beeing a full mistbron. Doesn't work on anything else, just full mistborn.

fabrials [OB] Dalinar and the thrill; What’s next
Szmit replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
If there was posibility of using Unmade for good I would really like to see Re-Shepir captured by Shallan. Enclosed in one of her's drawings-masks. Encorporiated with Stormlight, granted with "a piece of soul and piece of mind", posessing the one thing that she always desired but couldn't ever get - a perfect illusion of Humanity. However, despite how awesome both of this things would be, I don't really se any of them happening in books.- 6 replies

sibling {OB} The 3rd so called Sibling
Szmit replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
He would just RAFO us. Considering what Stormfather said sibling is probably dormant like Syl was during Days of Recreance, or Pattern when Shallan was lying to herself. He was probably bonded to the lonly bondsmith during Days of Recreance - as only godspren that seems to have damage from broken oaths. There are theories that the Sibling is the spren of Urithuru the fabrial-city. Some belive that he is the 10th Unmade, that wasn't yet unmade. Pretty sure that he is nothing that was yet seen on screen. We also know that Cusicesh is one level lower than the godsprens, and that there are probably more sprens on that level.- 15 replies

teravangion [OB] Let’s talk about Teravangion high intellect days
Szmit replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
Thanks for that wiki. Now I'm wasting time instead of learning for exam -
I also belive that Spiritual Ilumination allows you to see present and past in diffrent places - like Shallan (who has Ilumination) saw Shalash destroying art that displayed her (after her ship was soulcasted). More of my thoughts on that there

[OB] Why a Reverse Everstorm is significant
Szmit replied to ZenBossanova's topic in Stormlight Archive
It is implied that the Fused can return because there is Everstorm that revives them, and in earlier Desolations they had to go to Braize. I could belive that there was a storm in the past but it certanly wasnt returning. -
Didn't pick up on this, thanks

[OB] Stormlight philosophy discussion
Szmit replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
Questioner I almost have a little bit of trouble understanding the difference between the Lighteyed and the darker...How did you come up with it? Brandon Sanderson I wanted to have some kind of racism in the books that was removed from the racism we have in our world, so I could talk about it in a more isolated way related to the books; and so, having it based on eye color made sense because the Voidbringers have these glowing red eyes and the Heralds have these bright eyes. So, this idea of eye color being related to your level of nobility, which is not true, but it entered the culture and became the form of racism and prejudice that they use. source -
He used to wrestle with Hog that is used for execution. That is radiant level weirdness. And we still have severe lack of potential stonwards not counting Talanel. Edit: I'm talking about the general of course.

According to Ivory, the Jasnah's inkspren, real Truthwatchers can't see future.

He can vapotize anything, but easy investiture probably makes it easier. We know that the more he eats, the more powerfull he gets, and drains more investiture from used (until shiethed). What I'm saying is that when he devours Invested Objects, the "easy" investiture helpes him acces "hard" investiture(positive feedback loop), that is normal matter, that's why when it touches humans they suddenly explode into smoke, but when he touches uninvested things he vaporizes only most immediate area as if red-hot knife through butter.

Its a cool theory but I would suspect that shapeshifting has more to do with that Sprens already have to shapeshift to change from Spren to blade. I would assume that when you change cognitive investiture into phisical-metalic, using diffrent forms wouldn't be that hard. Surges especally don't come from blade metal since they require bond - they are probably a simple addon, as most of their effects. But indestructability... That would make sense considering the Oathgate lock.
