I think lynching Ecth is a good alternative to a no-lynch. Him being an Elim is more likely to me than the alternative, which is a no-lynch. I might be okay with a Drake lynch, but I'd rather lynch Ecth first. Ecth(4): Flash, Stick, Dalinar, Cloud Drake(1): Araris

Mid-Range Game 23: A Desperate Alliance
cloudjumper replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
At the time I made the post I thought incorrectly that there were 5 attacks on Alethi. The way I stated was the only way five attacks could have been made. Also Len pretty much told us his plan in the doc. I was working under the assumption that he had followed that plan along with his fellow voidbringers. Also that's what I would logically do if I was a voidbringer - get all decayform kills out as quickly as I could then transition into stormform and murder everyone, which was essentially his plan. -
Essence Marks cannot change your alignment. I asked this question in my GM PM. I do agree with the other things you've stated in that post though.

Yeah I guess lynching a SoH is better for a neutral win. Jondesu. BR. -
Lucky Duke sat on the edge of the island, wondering what he had gotten himself into this time. It had been ages since he had last died, and he didn't have fond experiences of what had happened as he awaited his caller. He only hoped that he would manage to stay out of trouble this time. Duke watched the mist swirl beyond the shore - swirling, thin strands moving this way and that through the air, or at least the equivalent of it. Duke frowned. He'd never seen something like this before - he was born and raised on the wild prairies of the Midwest. He'd heard rumors of oceans so big you could hardly see the other side from Apache Kid, his occasional partner in crime and friend, but he had never imagined them to be actually true. It turns out the Indian had been the lucky one this time. Lucky Duke frowned. Most of the folks around the campfire looked dangerous, like they'd been in a fight. He'd even seen Vulture Sam there, someone Duke remembered to be sour-mannered and dishonorable, collecting from the corpses of the dead. Still, Duke knew that whoever the supposed "traitors" were, they would be tough to beat. He hoped the whole thing would end up turning into an old-fashioned shootout. But Duke suspected that it would become a game of intrigue, deception, and trickery, all which Duke was terrible at. Still, Duke had his barrel, and that was something, right? Duke sighed. He felt all jittery, an emotion he hadn't felt in years. So he whipped out his pipe and lighter from his jacket pocket, and took a smoke of the special Indian stuff Apache Kid had given him a while back, for "the loosening of the mind". Immediately a faint, flickering light blossomed from the end of the pipe, and shadows flickered across the stone around Duke. Duke groaned, realizing his folly at the last second. He had forgotten. Suddenly, Duke's shadow moved, of it's own accord, around Duke and started dancing in the firelight. It's two-dimensional mouth opened, and it started chanting, "Free, free, free!" It's voice was tinny, quiet, and not much like Duke's own, but it was still as annoying as when Duke first realized that his shadow could talk. "Quiet", Duke growled. The shadow laughed, a metallic sound. "Don't remember? You can't give me orders when you're dead!", it replied. It continued to dance, though it no longer spoke as it did. Duke groaned a second time. How had he forgotten about that? Had the Indian smoke already have gotten to him? Duke lay back on the ground, feeling the hard stone beneath his head. Duke yawned. Maybe it was time to get a quick rest. Suddenly, the shadow stopped and went completely still. "Oh my", it said, it's voice quieter than usual. "What have you gotten yourself into this time?" The shadow laughed. "You are completely screwed, Lucky Duke. Maybe you'll die off completely and I'll go find a less bothersome host." Duke could hardly hear the shadow by now, and everything faded into darkness as Duke fell asleep and dreamed dreams of buffalo galloping across the plains. Word count: 526

Mid-Range Game 23: A Desperate Alliance
cloudjumper replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm thinking it's more likely that before Road and Len died they and the last voidbringer used their decayform kills and RB'd people. There would have been 3 people RB'd last turn, presumably three people who died or were attacked last night. Can anyone confirm this? Orlok stated that he had been RB'd, and I think Aster might have as well? We can assume that the SoH maybeshardblade kill was on Drake, and the ghostblood kill was on another Alethi, because they want the numbers to be spread evenly throughout both factions. I doubt that a ghostblood has a shardblade, considering that they already have a kill. -

Wait actually one of the kills was a lynch, so that would be 4 kills. So the parshendi shardbearer kill probably didn't happen. -
Mid-Range Game 23: A Desperate Alliance
cloudjumper replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well I mean 3 were from the voidbringer decayform kills, 1 was probably from ghostblood, and 1 might have been from a Parshendi shardbearer or something. Really, the village only had to do with one of those kills, and only one person was involved, with none of the other Parshendi in on it. -

Jon(8): Orlok, Aster, Sart, Flash, Elbereth, Striker, BR, Sami HH(8): Drake, Cloud, Yitzi, Crimsn, Joe, Megasif, Alv, Daniyah Orlok(2): Jon, Mint Yay vote tally that is probably wrong -

Yeah I feel like HH is a fair compromise to killing either Jon or Yitzi right now. Yitzi. HH. -

I'd rather lynch Yitzi, because we've killed far too many Parshendi so far and there's six of us to fifteen of you. -

Oh okay sorry. I generally use Elb for Elbereth and El for Elenion, but I'll change that right now. -

I will vote Len for likely voidbringing. Don't think fake-claiming invest is a very Elim thing to do, so I believe Aster. -
I have reevaluated. Joe(10): Joe, Wilson, Orlok, Elb, BR, Crimsn, Stick, PK, Ecth, Cloud Ecth(4): Seonid, Drake, Flash, Araris If Joe is lynched: 7 to 8 elims/neutrals. 10/8 village or 3/4 elims, 16 village/neutrals If elim!Ecth is lynched: 2-3 elims, 14/15 village/neutral If village!Ecth is lynched: 9-10 elims/neutrals, 7-8 village Inactives: Shqueeves, Arinan I'd rather not stake everything on Ecth being an Elim, so I think I like our odds more if we lynch a neutral. Ecth. Joe. Also, is double posting okay here? Because the post above had very little content, so I was wondering if I could stick an analysis post right under it, or if I should hide it.

Clearly I need to reevaluate. Should come up with another post in a couple minutes or so.

There are four or five elims left and five neutrals. If we lynch Joe and the Elims make a kill, then we have 8/9 elims and neutrals and 9/10 villagers. Assuming that there's at least one villager that doesn't come onto the same lucky bandwagon on an Elim that everyone else may or may not do, then the neutrals side with elims and force a hammer or tie, which then means an Elim win because they will outnumber the village. The game has ended if we lynch Joe. If we kill an Elim right here then we have a chance at winning. I would be open to several other possible lynch targets, but I will stick to Ecth right now because it looks like lynching him is the only alternative to laying down and dying.

I usually have played lurkily before you arrived. You wouldn't have been in many games I have played lurkily. LG34 was something of an anomaly I think, though I might change my playstyle to becoming more active over time. But by no means am I defending Ecth in this statement, I am clarifying.

tbh I have been much more focused on the other game lately so sorry about that but im glad that im not dead yet. Would rather vote on a possible Elim than a practically confirmed neutral. Ecth. Lynch will be much more informative.

So how old exactly is Tenov? Cause I need to put in timelines and dates and stuff. -
Also I will probably be absent for another two hours or so, so if you see me lurking during that time, I am not actually lurking, just open to the tab.

Okay so you're suspicious of me because I lurk, don't post analysis, and because you were suspicious of me before. About being suspicious of me because you were suspicious of me earlier, I didn't catch where in the thread you said why exactly you were suspicious of me there. Could you specify now? Here's the link to a post I thought you were talking about.
