  1. Oops forgot to vote on Cloud. Also I would be willing to trade information about lives and stuff with the Ghostblood for information about factions and roles and stuff just cause I'm hoping the GB survives and wins or gets pretty close because that seems fairly unlikely at this point.
  2. Ok so since I'm going to die anyways this cycle I might as well explain my actions. So after the hysteria I experienced after I realized that Alv was probably going to backstab me and kill me after they killed everyone else, I assumed that with Striker gone, village would have gone after me next. I wasn't willing to take the chance that there might be more Ghostbloods, so I thought that I was the last secret faction left and would be killed this cycle, resulting in a village victory. I attacked Alv because I was attempting to cripple the village in my death or something. I probably should have chosen Drake instead (sorry Drake) but oh well. In case you haven't noticed this plan was not exactly well thought out and I should have actually thought about it before doing it. Looking back that was really, really dumb but at least I learned something today. Wait what? No I never learn from my mistakes. Forget I said that. Look on the bright side though now we know that there is at least one GB out there. Good luck to you whoever you are. Also good luck to the village for finding them. But make sure to kill GB last. Also Seonid is it possible for Voidbringers to win if they all die? Because if so then Parshendi you should totally go for Voidbringer victory even though I was super mean and stuff. tl;dr: I attacked Alv to cripple the village and rid them of their kill but it was not the best of decisions and a massive failure.
  3. There are the Unmade, the equivalents of Heralds for Odium, but there are only nine of them and they're not exactly the same as the Heralds, playing more of a backline role in the Desolations compared to the Heralds, who actually fight. I doubt that an Unmade could take a Herald in a duel, though we don't have much information on them, but I think that they're more valuable tactically than a Herald as technology progresses. The Heralds teach men how to fight in preparation for the desolations but rely on Roshar to actually raise the armies, whereas some of the Unmade create their own armies of voidbringers (Midnight Essences, Thunderclasts), and also do some other stuff.
  4. Lucky Duke leaned back against the wall, breathing heavily. He had just finished wrapping his upper arm in a tourniquet - the battle in Elantris had been a rough fight. But Odium, the one Duke had heard caused all of this mess, had been destroyed. Deception and trickery Duke could not do to save his life. But a good old fashioned brawl? He'd been born to it. Duke slowly walked forwards down the street, noting the fires spread throughout the city and the blood splattering the stone of the street. Clearly the casualties on his side had been more than he had been led to believe. Still, Duke thought, it was well worth it. Those bony freaks had taken ten losses for every one the Elantrians had taken, thanks to their magical powers and some guns, which Duke still found a strange sight to see in another world and time. How had they even gotten guns, anyways? Wasn't this all set in the past? Duke sighed, letting go of the thought. He would leave thinking to the higher-ups. "The destruction of Odium means nothing", came a tinny voice from inside Duke's head. "There is still much evil out there. You'll never find which of your comrades is a traitor. You can't do it. You're too weak." "Like I couldn't hunt down Slab the Killer?", Duke asked, amused. "Like I couldn't duel all four Daltons at once? Just because you're weak doesn't mean I have to be." The shadow fell silent, leaving Duke alone. Lucky Duke took another step, and continued down the abandoned street, going nowhere in particular.
  5. I enter Arclo. Define immortal.
  6. So how does this work? I'm not asking for a spot, but I'd like some details if I do decide to do this.
  7. I'm not vile, just misunderstood. In the books the Alethi tried to commit genocide of the Parshendi. Who's the vile one there?
  8. Voting on me doesn't bring peace. If you kill a Parshendi kill role, then Sons of Honor win. Judging from the kills so far, I'm assuming that the Alethi Shardbearer, like most of the Alethi, wants a SoH win. If you strip the Parshendi of a kill then the Alethi control 2/3 of the kills, and since the Parshendi are so few in number peace will not happen, unless you mean peace for the Alethi and eternal rest for the Parshendi. Are you saying that the Parshendi currently have the upper hand? Striker
  9. He can't hurt people physically. Kelsier and Hoid are in the cognitive realm, so it's different. And also Hoid drops a bunch of hints about him not being able to harm others. Kel vs Wax/Wayne Wax has some cool coinshot bullets, and he can get near perfect aim inside Wayne's speed bubble. I feel like Wax/Wayne would win simply because if it came down to a pushing contest, Wax would win every time and Wayne could act as a human shield. If Kel got close enough for melee range Wayne could open up a really quick speed bubble and Wax would have time to get out a gun and shoot Kel. Adolin vs Dalinar Although Adolin is younger and more spry, even he was amazed at Dalinar's trick with the chasmfiend. Dalinar may be older than 50, but he still has years of experience on Adolin and a skill advantage. Denth vs Hammond Denth has centuries of experience and insanely good sword skills. Although Ham uses pewter, Denth simply is too fast. K team vs Vin and Jasnah Vin stays on the ground close to Jasnah and repels any coin attacks by Kelsier. Kaladin has to get in close range to attack, so Jasnah insta-kills him. Kelsier duels Vin, but Vin is more familiar with duralumin and metals beyond the ten, so she wins. Adolin vs Spook Spook wins. Spook can just pepper Adolin with coins and run away until his Shardplate runs out of stormlight, then pepper him with more coins. And more. And more.
  10. Using his manip with the Elims seems a bit suspicious to me. Might have read something wrong but it looks like that to me right now.
  11. Ok makes sense. Araris. Don't think Flash is Elim, and Araris basically claimed. But why are the Neutrals voting on him then? It can't be a gamble, because they could easily win requiring no gamble. However, Araris is most likely an Elim, so that is that. But then why? I am so confused. Its mind games. It's all mind games. The Elims are toying with us now. The hour has drawn near, so the Elims want us to have one last futile hope before they crush the village like a gnat and completely obliterate all of our hopes and dreams. We really can do nothing but follow like puppets as they lead us on, twirling our strings around their hands and making us dance, dance, dance for their cruel amusement. Finally the noose has tightened. Finally the Elims have found their victory, and as we thrash and jerk, slowly losing air, the Elims laugh, for the hour has come. Yes, that was a joke. This doesn't mean anything. Please stop throwing stones at me.
  12. Relevant stuff: http://faq.brandonsanderson.com/node/468 Also in Ch7 of Secret History
  13. I think this deal pertains only to Sart and Drake, cause Sart is quoting Drake and one vote for all of our votes next cycle doesn't exactly seem like a fair deal.
  14. 1. Miles has near-infinite regen. Renarin has some shardplate and blade, but can't really use it well. And we've seen Miles literally blow up a grenade in his own hand and come out of it. Miles can heal from spiritual wounds, and he has unlimited heals. Miles wins by stabbing or shooting Renarin roughly around the visor slit repeatedly until a lucky shot goes in, or running away and getting hit and stuff until Renarin's stormlight from his plate runs out. 2. Shaizon has cool fighting skills. Shallan has regen and lightweaving. If Shaizon can run away for until Shallan runs out of Stormlight that would be great, but Shaizon has no knowledge of Shallan's abilities and so probably will attack and likely go for a quick victory because of Shallan's harmless-looking appearance. Even though Shaizon will deliver a killing blow, this will leave her exposed and Shallan will kill her and regenerate. If Shaizon is smart enough not to do that, Shallan can disappear in a crowd of duplicates, blind Shai with a bunch of illusions waving arms in her face, and stab her in the back. 3. Even though Elend doesn't have as much training or fighting skill as Kaladin, he has brute force. Kaladin can regen and kill people but Elend can pepper him with coins and do cool stuff with pewter and Kaladin's spearhead.
  15. So of course that was an awful piece of advice. Of course what I suggested is working completely against the village. But really, would an Elim have the audacity to suggest something that straight up goes completely counter to the village’s interests? Me being me, I didn’t really think about the long term things of what would happen there, and only thought about the benefit of sparing as many villagers as possible. It was really just a dumb mistake.
  16. 1. Okay so a lerasium fullborn to me is really, really OP. Compounding for all 16 metals = infinite steelrunning. On the other hand, Szeth has some stormlight and Nightblood. Nightblood could potentially do some damage but only if Szeth gets close. About the gravitational change, Roshar has 0.7G, so that would mean a huge change for all Rosharans (except Odium obviously). Szeth has the surge of Gravitation though, so maybe he might still live. 2. Odium wins. Ruin is much more invested into Scadrial than Odium is to Braize. Odium has moved around quite a bit, while Ruin pretty much just stayed on Scadrial since the Shattering. 3. We have WoB that states that a Radiant could defeat a mistborn in a straight out fight, while a mistborn could kill a Radiant if there are unfair tactics allowed. However, Lift isn't a Radiant. Lift is a proto-radiant, and that makes a big difference because the way she is right now Lift has no shardplate, which makes all the difference in a fight. Further, Lift has no ranged abilities, so provided Vin has coins she can essentially kite Lift a bunch of times until she has no Stormlight. I think that this round would be much fairer if Vin has no steelpushing, so I'll do that one too. So Vin now is essentially a supercool supersoldier now. Her only fighting ability is pewter, but she still has her knives and stuff. Lift has a shardblade and a lot of heals. Vin cannot one-shot Lift, while Lift can one-shot Vin. Disregarding gravity, Lift wins.
  17. Well I mean if no one has any suspicions a no-lynch might be an option. Right now since it's day one there's not really much evidence against anyone, so unless people have suspicions we might want to think about lynching no one at all, preventing the chance of lynching a villager.
  18. Lucky Duke's eyes shot open with the morning sun. For a moment blind panic seized him, but as he looked around he realized that he had not passed into the Beyond, yet. Duke crawled onto his hands and knees, feeling for his buffalo rifle in the warm mud around him, but he could not find it. Duke looked down at his own body at the feel of coarse wool around his skin, and found that his body looked...different. Instead of the tan that his arms should have looked like, pale, white skin covered his body, and he wore simple clothing, like the skaa of old, before the factories that now produced the clothing of modern Scadrial. He was significantly shorter than his usual body, and instead of muscle his body was lean and skinny. Duke got up and looked around for the first time, wincing at a shooting pain in his left leg. He appeared to be in a muddy ditch that lay near a stone road, polished and smooth grey. Golden fields of long, wavy grass surrounded the road, and in the distance, tall, stone walls lay around a city. Four small collections of wooden houses lay surrounding the stone city, and Duke could see more roads in the distance leading to the city from each town. Duke favored his right leg as he walked slowly to the road, noting strange plants and weeds along the side of the road and growing in the ditch that he'd never seen before. Strange. He'd assumed that because of the hooded man's wording that they would be just traveling to a different time period, not a different planet. But this was obviously another world. Nalthis? Duke had never been well-versed in his knowledge of the Cosmere, but now he wished he at least remembered something. No, wait...Duke vaguely remembered someone talking about a tall stone city, full of wonders and magical feats beyond reckoning, in a tavern once, saying it was called Elantis? Elatrai? Elantris. He said it was on...Sel. That was right. Sel was the name of the planet. Duke limped down the road. Well at least he had a start. All journeys had a start, and Duke had a feeling that this would be an interesting journey. Word count: 377
  19. I protected Drake in warform. I was afraid an Alethi Shardbearer would try to kill him, because he has been pretty important to the Parshendi thus far.
  20. We lynched Jon. IIRC, we (or at least some of us) lynched Jon under the condition that we would lynch a suspected SoH next. Since Drake scanned BR as SoH, I say we lynch BR now.
