Did I make a mistake by putting my character in a car by himself? Also, can I make a character that is a house elf?

You're right. Thanks for pointing that out to me. I'll have to revise my character a bit more before I share it again, this time with a backstory and personality with less holes in it.

Does a passive ability affect your mind as much as an active power does?

Thanks so much for your feedback. Wanderer's powers are enough to swallow a group of people into the earth, drain a river or lake, or summon a tornado for a few minutes. Doing so will drain out his power for months and cause a large burst of negative emotion. Generally, the act of creating a concentrated gust of wind, carving a stone, or creating a small cloud will regenerate within a day and only cause a small flare of emotion. Also, I think I forgot to mention that if Wanderer uses more than his available power, then he loses most of his sanity. For the personality issue, Wanderer has a quick temper, and that occasionally results in a very unfortunate accident occurring. However, he can usually control his emotions, although it is by no means easy. Of course, it is very hard to stay in full control, and inevitably, he will go insane, whether it's from overusing his powers or from extremely severe PTSD (although I'm not entirely sure how that works).

Hi. I'm new to Reckoners RPG and I was wondering what you thought of my character. Backstory After Erosion got his powers, he rampaged across the countryside for a few years and massacred many people. Eventually, he realized what he had done and forced himself to stop using his powers. Erosion changed his name to Wanderer and traveled around the world trying to help people without using his powers. Power Portfolio Wanderer is a wind, water, and earth manipulation epic. He has a limited reservoir of power that regrows over time but drains away as he uses his power. However, once his reservoir reaches a certain capacity, it stops growing. Wanderer now sees visions of the people he killed replaying in his mind and that usually stops him from using his powers too often. Also, while he is using his powers, his personality will change a little, but not permanently. Manipulating wind magnifies his rage. Manipulating water decreases his conscience. Manipulating earth magnifies his cruelty. Personality Wanderer hates using his powers and the side effects that go along with it. He strives to be kind, but sometimes his rage gets the better of him. Which RPG do you recommend I join? Also, to start, do I just write an introductory post to an RP? Thanks. Edit: Wanderer helps people using a very small amount of his powers.

That makes sense. I didn't consider it that way. I'm not going to force unity, but I'm going to remove highstorms because it hampers travel in and out of Roshar too much. Stormlight still replenishes though.
-
Sorry I didn't make this clear earlier. All of the worlds are unified within themselves and working together. There is no Everstorm, Urithiru, or Atium. However, highstorms are allowed. Also, I didn't allow highly invested characters like Susebron or Lord Ruler.

So after the Roshar vs Scadrial thing, I had this other idea. Now, what if instead of Roshar and Scadrial, we take all of the Shardworlds? No Shards or Slivers or highly invested characters. All of the worlds are connected by sea and all worlds are the current eras, but Scadrial is Final Empire. All of the rest are the worlds from the most recent books in that world. The political situations remain the same. Edit: I specified a bit more.

Can I join? I didn't realize that I was supposed to sign up here, so I just posted something on the actual thing. Sorry. I can delete it if you want.

Ming breathed in and out. Today was the day that he was going to embark on his journey to knowledge, and boy, was he excited. However, if he was to come back to London's Chinatown in seven years in triumph, he must work for it. And that included studying muggle studies such as arithmetic, biology, and extensive history from both magical and muggle points of view, but also studying magic as well. However, that didn't mean that he didn't have to stick with conventional methods of study. Ming and reached into his book bag to get his cards, but felt a familiar touch on his arm, trying to climb up it. Ming leaned down and whispered to his pet bowtruckle, Hib, "Stay down. I'm not allowed to bring you to Hogwarts, so you could get me in trouble if you climb out of the bag until the train stops and I can hide you in my room." Hib reluctantly drew away and let him through. Ming pulled out his cards and soon, a perfect model of Hogwarts and the surrounding area during the Battle of Hogwarts was arranged around the compartment, partly to help him study, partly to keep intruders from interrupting his sanctuary of peace and quiet, which was just the way he liked it. Also, it kept him from worrying about technology in Hogwarts. Although he knew that technology was now a part of life for many people, Ming found himself unwilling accept it. As he understood it, technology was fickle, and could be easily tampered with. However, magic, he could comprehend. Magic was always reliable and always there.

Does that involve contributing to the database of Dark Alley hemalurgic research? -

I, Cloudjumper, wish to join the Dark Alley guild/group. -
Dalinar and Sadeas had the largest armies on the Shattered Plains at around 10,000 apiece. Perhaps 9,000 would be the standard Highprince army, which means 90,000 soldiers on the shattered plains, not 150,000. Also, 4 highprinces managed to muster around 32,000 troops (Granted, this included Dalinar's depleted army).

So I was having a debate with another 17th Shard user about Elantrians, and since he's never read Elantris, he asked me to specify what specific powers Aons did. In Elantris, it only mentions a couple, such as: 1. Shields 2. Energy Bolts 3. Explosions 4. Light 5. Teleportation 6. Lightweaving 7. Traveling Between Realms? I know there are more, so it would be nice if someone let me know what some other Aons are. Thanks

On second thought, I should add that Parshendi are very useful. They can jump long distances and are highly adaptable to be perfect spies, high power mages, or warriors. I did not even consider that until I read the other comments.

At the end of Szeth's first chapter, Gavilar gives Szeth a black sphere. Later, in the second letter, the writer says, "Have you given up on the gemstone now that it is dead?". Is this the same black sphere?

On Coppermind, some articles were referencing something called WoB. I'm not sure what that is. Could it be some book I haven't read? Or is it an acronym for something else? Thanks
-
So I was reading this other article, A war between Scadrial (era 2) and Roshar , and I saw this comment that mentioned a war between Scadrial (era 1) and Roshar, and how that would be a closer fight. So I looked at the topic list, and there was no topic that I found about that. So I decided that I might as well make one, because no one else has done it. Who would win in a war between Roshar and Scadrial? Scadrial and Roshar are right next to each other.

I would pick Shallan, Jasnah, Lift, Marsh, and lots of Kandra and Elantrians. Marsh has ton of power. Elantrians don't have as much power, but with their versatile abilities, they could wreak quite a lot of havoc with Aons such as: 1. Disguises 2. Shields 3. Explosions and other energy blasts 4. Healing 5. Teleportation Lift can regenerate other people, and can travel quickly as an asassin or on the battlefield as a medic. Elantrians can too, and they have instantaneous travel, but not as accurate in short amounts of time. Jasnah and Elantrians can transport people to different locations almost instantaneously. Shallan and Jasnah could soulcast things into food, and Lift could eat that food. Assuming that Soulcasting does not cost that much stormlight, Lift could have quite a lot of stormlight by eating a lot, and therefore could have a lot of healing capacity. Shallan, Kandra and Elantrians could disguise themselves to spy and get more information.

Blackthorn Dalinar, Szeth, Lift, Vin, Sazed (Pre - Ascension), Miles, MeLaan, Vasher, Raoden (Full Elantrian), Dilaf, and Marsh are put in an arena. Who wins? I apologize if this has been asked before. I am new to this community, so I am not sure what topics have already been covered.

I think that stone shamanism is the third magic system.
