    This kind of creates an issue with consistency, since you'd be able to travel to the past, but only if the point you'd travel to hasn't yet happened in the thread. Note: I'm alright with only traveling forwards, since this makes sense with cadmium.

    From what I could see the post was also going on about the issues with getting access to the investure while in orbit or around other planets. Also, sorry about the necro, I hadn't noticed that the last post was two weeks ago.

    This would actually be the easy part, at least if the Aons are at static locations. The containers themselves can be created on the planet's surface, so you would already have enough dor for the teleport, and you could also collect the investure from planets you're around (stormlight and ettmetal comes to mind).

    Why would you actually need to extend the dor? Wouldn't it be easier to store the investure in the physical realm? I'm not sure how easy it would be to hack selish magic to use it, but I feel that it should be possible, and if you can do that, you could probably also use local manifestations of investure as fuel as well.

    It get's worse when everybody also starts changing their profile pictures, including a lot of variations of a mod's profile picture.

    Even then, they can't have knowledge of what's going to happen, since time is still mutable. They'll know what happened in their time stream, but when they get here it means they'll only know that time stream, and our own interference will make it impossible for that to be accurate.

    Ah right, the time travel is an issue as well, but I was more focusing on the absorbing a shard and creating a hemalurgic kaiju though. maybe we could get the phoenix to fight it? ... That would probably cause a good amount of property damage though... Edit: Also, that wasn't to say I wanted to raise objections to what is going on, but to raise awareness among the others about what's happening, so we actually pay attention to it.

    I ignored the discussion, and looked down at what was happening in the world. Looking at Sorana's and Itiah's characters I saw them go through Septhis's offices. After a few seconds I comprehended what was happening. I created a minor light show to draw everybody's attention. "Um, perhaps it would be better to save this discussion for a different time, I think we have a bit of a situation down there. And with that I mean that this might make the seven day war look like a small scale event. Here." They then showed the thread to everybody else.

    KoTiel blinked when Laurelai suddenly disappeared. "What," they thought, when they heared her talk again. "Invisibility? Ah, right, her bane." They focused back on the conversation, tapping zinc to help analyze what she was saying. "Yes, that could work," they told her when she finished talking, smiling at her. "In that case, you'll also have more time for these tests for the bone spikes, since I'd have to get the identity spikes first anyway, given that the body needs to mutate in the storm, and since Mistwraith aren't hemalurgic creatures the storm wouldn't work on them." They started nodding. "How long do you think you'll need for the identity spikes?" They asked her. "Getting access to a proper mistwraith body would probably take me at least a week anyway, so you'd have that amount of time anyway." They thought for a bit. "Depending on the facilities here I might actually create the mistwraith myself, instead of capturing one. It should allow for better control of how good the body is in shapeshifting. I might even be able to add the ability to actually grow hair and mend bones into it, although actually growing new bones would probably be a bit too difficult to add." They turned to Mac. "Hey Mac, do you know anything about facilities for genetic manipulation and cloning? Perhaps with allomantic cadmium equipped incubation chambers?"
