  1. So I’ll probably use all of these as very minor characters we can use as members of the belt to kill off ask something other than defenseless mobs. I’ll put them in my characters if there’s no objections.
  2. Sounds good, but remember that multiple motivators need multiple samples in most cases, and that using this will cause sentinel to enter a frenzied state.
  3. The issue is that its already been done. This is supposed to be a reboot, with a new plot and a new end goal. If we get enough support a revisit could be possible, but for now I think a fresh start is best.
  4. As in powers wise or personality wise? Power wise, the weakest Epics seem to be the most fun to write.
  5. I liked the idea of Orbit and Epoch and perhaps anyone else with political power now could have been working for the old Epic, and are now in a succession war. He could have been a weather Epic who kept the city in order, as well as using smaller manifestations for combat, with a strong healing PI.
  6. Sounds good! It sounds like just about everyone, myself included, is a fan of non defined borders and turf wars, so that sounds good. Are we starting it up soon? Also, what have we got down for initiating event so far?
  7. Has anyone claimed the vanilla faction yet? If not, we could have the reckoners mission be to start a revolution.
  8. Boomerang is like a direct upgrade on Longbow. I kinda want to write him as a minor a little ways into the story just for their interaction.
  9. The memory epic sounds good. With regards to the reckoners, it sounds like a good idea but I’m not sure who would write it. Maybe we could align them with any vanilla faction?
  10. Going into the dark for a reason other than to save their own skin would do it, I believe.
  11. I never read Portland, seemed too chaotic to work through at the time. Astoria was my favourite to read. Corvallis was cool too. Portland was just wierd EDIT: In the best way ever.
  12. Magmaw could sort of? Do this. @Voidus is he still planned? Also, who is actually going to be writing our memory alterer. We should have them weigh in on effect. Hanging out with Epoch sounds like a solid idea. He’ll be in the old townhouse, right?
  13. 2025? We established it a long time ago, but it was discussed around page 38 in this thread.
  14. I assume you'll be writing for Arachnerd, or at least controlling his actions?
  15. I intend to have Silhouette and Knox attack machete, and then be forced to seek refuge with another group. Any takers?
  16. Her and any of her agents seem like appropriate agents for the town hall *thinking*
  17. Gotcha. They may have a better shot here considering our only PI is resurrection! EDIT: On second thought, who would the current strongest epic be? Voidgaze, maybe. Orbit isn’t bad, per se. Epoch is fairly low powered for combat. The creator takes a while. Armageddon is persuasive. Sentinel is pretty good, but against a mob he dies instantly. I’m really not sure.
  18. Who are the MEE? I swear I have to re read the last few question pages.
  19. Like a cooler, less terrifying version of nightwielder! Also, factionwise, Orbit could run a sector. Maybe the mall? That seems the most appropriate section for him. I have some ideas for the waterpark and stores already. EDIT: @Voidus @Drake Marshall I love the tunnel vision concept for Epoch. It seems very appropriate for some reason.
  20. How about constellations based on the dreams of the epic? Looking at them could get you enraptured in the story being told, causing you to forget everything for a time. Brilliant shooting stars and aurora borealis type effects could be used.
  21. We can make it much less clear cut, but I like the idea of different sectors with different flavours, who the others have to try to rely on to an extent. We could only use the mist in one sector because of their ruling epic, and some other effect to showcase time zones if that’s preferable for the characters writers. That would give us 5 very distinct sectors.
  22. I like the idea of the memory messing. Maybe have it occur whenever someone views strange, floating orbs that everyone attributes to the mists? Also, I agree that each sector will have a bit of everything. However, the leading epic or Epics could have powers related to their sectors specialty, such as the farming sector being led by a plant epic. The river problem could be resolved by the disposal/waste group having poisoned it during a past attempt at a coup, leading to the rise of the water sector led by an epic capable of creating potable water, etc. Just spitballing, but that’s the general idea. EDIT: I vote for a Friday start, as that’s the day I finish exams.
