Hm. I think I still prefer the Reckoners, and possibly the unfortunate Rithmatist, because I like the premises more. I will say that Skyward was a work of great quality, and I'd like to read the next book.

Posting for Mrake Darshall because he's not here. Taya slowly sat up, barely processing what ‘Moose’ had just said. She was barely conscious, but she tried to stand up anyway. She half expected to simply slump down again, and she did. While her wound wasn’t necessarily life-threatening, it certainly wasn’t helping her accomplish anything. Taya muttered something about meese, then slightly more clearly said, ‘If you don’t mind, I’ll just… stay here. Sorry about the mess.’ Unconsciousness overtook her.

Honestly, I thought that going to the doc was largely unnecessary, so I'd say start transferring to the thread. I'll write a quick follow-up Taya post on the doc and you can post it in the thread if you'd like.

If you know what she's doing better than I do, then please take over. I don't want to take Taya in the wrong (?) direction, literally or figuratively.

Minor problem: I'm not entirely sure what Taya's actually doing at the stadium at the moment, as the narrative doesn't really say (besides something about Nighthound, but I'm guessing that probably comes later?). Anybody know?

I could... probably? write for Taya? I'll need to reread her samples and it probably wouldn't have exactly the same feel to it, but I could write in some things while we wait for Darshall to (hopefully) get back.
