  1. Where else might Lottery fit? I already have an Epic in Salem, so no, what about Astoria? The Destructors always need/want new recruits.
  2. No PI anymore. There's a 50% chance that his mind-control thing won't work. Also, it's not even mind control. Think Nighthound and Ray connection. Nighthound doesn't "control" Ray, but she does have to follow his instructions. "Controlled" people still have some control over their actions. Unless he gives orders by voice. Dang it Kobold!
  3. See above. Is that still too OP? Oh, and he can turn objects back to normal with his mind.
  4. Seriously? Then I'll probably have to reroll (ha ha) his powerset... How about this? Can I keep the animals thing? What if a savage tiger is upon him? He has nothing to do but run! Lottery Power: Can turn objects (no humans or Epics) into ordinary dice. Has to be lighter than 200 kilograms Extremely Annoying power: If he challenges you to a game of dice, you have to accept. If he wins, you are completely under his control for the rest of the day. If you win, you're scot-free, and he cannot ask you to join another game. Honorwise, he will also not kill you. He doesn't rig the games. His victim gets to choose the game. MO: He enjoys challenging random vanillas to games of dice. He has accumulated quite the entourage of losers.
  5. I didn't read any Brandon Sanderson books other than Steelheart and Firefight - AND THEY WERE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, who is the lizard? I better start being even more active in the RP...
  6. What if he threw a rock at you with his enhanced strength? It would probably hurt you, even if you didn't fear him. Energy probably works on the same basis.
  7. Ultimate *facepalm* If you became corrupted, you'd delete all our profiles! And where does your first quote come from?
  8. Not going to insert cool sword pic here. The other guy turned around and looked back. Then he went on a rant about art and perfection - Boring! Abaddon zapped the other man with enough pain to bring him to his knees, and he went down. Aah. Much better. "Find your own 'artistic foundation'. The rules are, that NO ONE TOUCHES SENTRY'S POSTERS!" Then he remembered SoulCaster's DreamStates. The man - an Epic probably; no one else would talk back to Abaddon like that - might not be able to doodle on Sentry's posters, but maybe he could do something like that in a DreamState..."Wait a sec, come with me." He removed the pain. "What's your name?" EDIT: I messed up some grammar. (now did I stammer?)
  9. And revised: Cuber Power: Can turn objects and vanillas into cubes the size of a lightbulb (I like lightbulbs!) Cannot be done to Epics unless their weakness is in effect. Most objects can be cubed, as long as he considers it an object. Secondary: He can create a pocket dimension that can hold a very large amount of cubes, about 200. Tertiary: Anything that will hurt him will enter the pocket dimension. Objects that hit him will be cubed, while vanillas and Epics will not. Weakness: Something easy to exploit but hard to guess.
  10. Not actually going to use him - as you said, too OP - but he would be pretty cool. Also, we recently found out that facing your fear is a temporary solution to the "corruption." Where does that leave Substance (Salem)? Third thing is that not all weaknesses nullify powers. A person that isn't afraid of him does not nullify all of Steelheart's powers (or else he would always have his weakness in play - he is not afraid of himself) That leaves us with, "He can only be killed by someone who doesn't fear him. How do you nullify his flight, energy blasts, and other powers he might have?
  11. Good. About the Portland RP: Could I make it so that a man, who I'll name Jeffery (sorry Corpsey) Wandinson notices the conflict between Timeport and Nighthound. It would be even more fun if Timeport teleported into the guy. And about Salem: Could I add two new Epics in one day? If I could, Name: Cuber Power: He can touch any object, living or dead, and that object will shrink (or grow) into a small box the size of a lightbulb. He can even do this to humans and Epics. Living beings don't notice that they have been cubed. He can even do this to himself, and puts himself in Storage to avoid danger (see Secondary) Larger objects require more effort. (He could probably cube the entire world if he wanted to, but what fun is that? He wouldn't do it. Also, it would probably take him a years worth of concentrating.) Secondary: He can create a portal to another "dimension" which he calls storage. These portals are generally small. He keeps his cubes in there. This leads to an effect where it looks like he throws a cube and it turns into a house in midair. Tertiary: When he will be hit by something that will harm him, he will automatically cube it. If you try to shoot him, the bullet will be cubed. If someone tries to punch him, the person will be cubed. These cubings take no time at all, there fore, if he was on the Moon, and the Earth hit it, he would conceivably cube the whole Earth (scary) MO: He enjoys cubing random objects. And people. And Epics. Or is this too OP?
  12. Well, I suppose that someone saw my Salem post. Was I god-modding with Showstopper? I assumed, that something that happened a long time ago wouldn't really be god-modding, but I'll edit that out and/or ask permission if I have to.
  13. Insert cool sword pic here (No, I'm not actually going to insert one ) Abaddon glided into Salem, 100 feet above the ground. He was back for the fights, of course. They were really quite entertaining; he'd gotten quite a win-streak before he'd left. He'd grown to enjoy this city, although the fact that he couldn't kill the vanillas was annoying. They were generally extremely disrespectful. Looking down upon the streets, he saw a new type of poster everywhere, Sentry's doing of course. Wonder where she is? Wait, is that- Abaddon swooped down to get a better look. Yes, there was a picture of Sentry with sunglasses on it. And nearby, one with a teddy bear. And another one where there were dots on her eyes. Guess it's up to me to find out what insolent jerk did this. Abaddon followed the trail of marked posters, until he came across a fellow who looked different than all the others. And he was walking towards another one of Sentry's posters. No doubt he was going to vandalize it. "Hey! What the sparks are you doing? If you're new here, here's the law: No one touches Sentry's posters, unless you want law enforcement on your tail. And Showstopper's never pleasant." He'd had a run in with her once. It wasn't pleasant.
  14. IWC, I think I should be able to write my introduction of Abaddon. Wish me good luck.
  15. Should I have him catching Vandal and telling him off? It would be interesting if this drew the police. What are Vandal's other powers by the way? Or is it just amazing drawing skills?
  16. How should I introduce Abaddon in Salem? I've revised his character. He doesn't kill unless he needs to; he regards killing as a ritual, and he refuses to break his rituals, which include shattering certain bones and cutting off certain limbs, all while turning up the dial. Gruesome.
  17. In Salem! Abaddon FuzzyBun
  18. Thanks. That clears things up a bit. Is the background of Salem thoroughly implanted, or is there room for one more Epic guard? I was thinking that Abaddon would, say, catch Vandal messing up the posters and... then it's up to his creator.
  19. For Salem: Does anyone mind if I post this Epic in the bar? Name: Abaddon Power: Can cause one person severe pain that can cripple or drive someone insane. Can do this extremely quickly. Secondary power: Incorporeality. Cannot be shot or stabbed normally like some other Epics. Tertiary power: Gliding. Like Nightwielder. Weakness: TBRL (to be revealed later) I've built up a bit of a fascination with this Epic, to tell the truth. Also, why isn't god-modding allowed? I know there are trolls and people like that, but if appropriately used, god-modding can put a story down a path, and make it even better.
  20. Interessant. I would be... (I have had an infatuation with this idea for a long time. So long that I'm writing a book about it.) Primary Power: Can shadow (go into his/her body while he is incorporeal) a single person and control him/her. Killing that person will kill him - permanently. Secondary Power: Reincarnates when killed, unless his weakness is in effect Secondary Secondary Power: A couple really weak powers, including Teleportation, but only once a day and has to be within the city he is currently in. The temperature in a room drops a few degrees when he enters. He can make a person vanish for a couple seconds only, not including himself. Can fly. No restraints. Tertiary Power Can be incorporeal. However, spends most of his time in solid form, as going incorporeal for a while makes him exhausted quickly. Weakness: The light of a broken mirror shining on him makes him lose all of his powers, but they come back after the light is taken off. Also, he then becomes, REALLY mad. Shining a light on a possessed person makes him lose control of that person, and makes him come into existence. Name: Abaddon. Just sounds awesome. Inevitable Evil: Goes around destroying cities, "because he is bored." For reasons unknown, he always spares the children in each city and takes them to Newcago, which he has not destroyed. This may be because he was an orphan as a child. He just seems so awesome.
