  1. @Tani Kelsier smirked, raising a hand in farewell as he began to shepherd Tani out of the station. “Have fun!” ”See you Grandfather,” Marea called after him. Turning back to Adrienne, she asked, “now what?”
  2. “That you don’t need to know. You just need to make sure no one knows what you’ve done. Marea will show you where to bring the body.”
  3. Kelsier shrugged. “I needed to check with PaAlm; find out if she was ready for the swap. You plan to work with me, you need to be quick as steel.”
  4. He also likes playing death and being bald is part of that.
  5. “I might,” he said cheerfully. “We’ll have to see.” Kelsier smiled. “I’ll need you to arrange for his body to be transported to a secure location - and make sure no one knows he’s dead. Certain events need to be set in motion and I’d rather not have to kill two governors.”
  6. Kelsier leaned back against the wall, watching the conversation with amusement. “Interesting as this is,” he said wryly, “you have a governor to kill and I need to take Rylla somewhere safe.”
  7. Marea nodded, hiding her confusion. Book? “He’s always been like that,” she said aloud. “Anyway, I need to get this one,” she nodded at Rylla, “to him.”
  8. “Nah,” Marea laughed. “You forget who my grandfather is. Half the time I haven’t the slightest idea why I’m doing what I’m doing - and the other half it turns out the plan I knew was actually part of another plan entirely. I love the old man, but he does like his secrets.”
  9. Braisier scowled. “No,” he said firmly. “You turn on the fires and watch, but otherwise no touching.”
  10. They sent assassins after Jasnah because she was killing their people first. Didn’t stop them from hanging around the tower likely because any attempt to go after them would have brought up Jasnah’s own indiscretions. And anyone who tries to go after them for Lift is going to have it pointed out that most of the families turned over their Radiants. The GBs were doing the same as everyone else. And the reason they captured her? They found her kneeling over a corpse and mistook her for the killer. They’ve been careful not to make themselves direct enemies of the coalition. Shallan decided to declare war, but that may not go as she expects. I mean, really all Thaidakar has to do is ask Dalinar if he really wants a war with a foreign planet right now... Of course, if they are enemies of the Coalition, that makes capturing Regals even more foolish. Regals are bonded to Spren. If the GBs could get them off Roshar, Thaidakar would likely be on Roshar.
  11. One: Thaidakar is likely against enslavement given his history. He also runs a very internally autonomous organization, and has never been one for directly controlling others. So it’s not really in his nature to go that route, even if he didn’t have personal issues with it. Two: Why would they want Voidlight? It doesn’t help them move Investiture or Kelsier offworld. Three: They’ve gone to great lengths to portray themselves as neutral third parties. Why would they risk that?
  12. “Wow,” Marea said. “You just go around telling people that? Humans on Earth are different. Here we usually like to keep that sort of thing under the Mist.”
  13. This was done for Fireflybooks21 on Tumblr. The other half of this will show up eventually. The song is “Come with me” by Chxrlotte. The song was chosen by Firefly.
  14. We finished that one two challenges ago, I’m afraid. @Random Bystander it’s your turn.
  15. “She’s going to do something. I’m going to help. You’re going to go with my grandfather.” @Channelknight Fadran
  16. Yup! I think my favorite clue was the third - Kelsier isn’t technically the main character, but it can be hard to remember that, lol!
  17. Nope. This character is not human. This character sets off the Sanderlanche in a book. This character is not defeated by the main character. This character appears alive in only two scenes, and dies in the second. This character used to be human (and was chosen due to Random’s previous choice).

  19. No and no. This character is not human. This character sets off the Sanderlanche in a book. This character is not defeated by the main character.

  22. Process of elimination... I’ll need to think of someone.
