    @RippleGylf Standard meeting time is 7pm until whenever we feel like ending. We meet on BYU campus, sometimes inthe atrium of the JFSB (Joseph F Smith Building) and sometimes in the Cougareat (food court in the Wilkinson Center). I don't think we've decided fit certain which spot to use this month. PersonallyI'd prefer the food court.

    Is it considered a necro to revive a topic that's only on the second page? Cause I'm doing it. Went to two book signings tonight and picked up the 6th and final John Cleaver book by Dan Wells, as well as Dark Immolation, Christopher Husberg's 2nd novel and the sequel to Duskfall.

    I'd say Straff and Sadeas are at the top of my list of Brandon's most despicable characters. They are evil of their own volition and appear to enjoy causing other people pain. Plus Straff's sexual depravity makes him especially heinous in my eyes, as does Sadeas's two-faced treachery.

    @Herowannabe I'm so happy that you found Rugby again!! Not so happy that he got beat up while he was lost, but I'm much relieved on both your behalfs that it wasn't worse. I hope he recovers quickly and without complications.

    @Briar King I haven't, but she said in Discord a while back that she was going to take a hiatus from the Shard. @Kaymyth is friends with her on Facebook, though, and I assume she would inform us if anything bad happened to Twi.

    Congrats on the successful interview, @The Flash! And yes, that's a Killdeer. They're notorious for nesting in dangerous places on the ground and for the "broken wing display" where they fake injury to try to lure predators (including people) away from the nest.

    That's great! What's not great is that I missed your birthday. Congrats to you both on your interviews! In other news, I photographed some butterflies on Saturday I also got some closeups of an insect that I discovered via Google and Wikipedia is called a Boxelder Bug. Looks kinda like a red-and-black beetle, but it's actually related to cicadas and stinkbugs.

    It sounds like you really need to see a doctor. If it's strep throat, that can be treated with antibiotics, and if it's not, irregular heartbeat is nothing to joke about. *hugs* I hope you feel better ASAP!

    I read through the entirety of the graphic novel Nimona in one 2-hour sitting last night. I enjoyed it a lot. The artwork felt whimsical, the dialogue had me literally laughing out loud, and I found the anachronistic juxtaposition of plate armor, swordfights, and Ren-Faire clothing against radio comms, ray guns, and modern-style news broadcasts highly entertaining.

    The weather here is cool and damp today, which pleases me. I spent about an hour this morning taking macro photos of snails on the sidewalk and retaining walls outside my work cause they were EVERYWHERE. I think I got some nice ones. AND I'm going to see Wonder Woman tonight, finally!
