Q: What's the difference between an onion and a viola? A: You cry while you chop up an onion. Q: What do you do with a tone-deaf trumpet? A: Take away his trumpet, give him a pair of sticks, and make him a drummer. Q: What do you do with a drummer who has no sense of rhythm? A: Take away one of sticks and make him the conductor.

It's been a while since I've done a post of nature photos. I have a bit of a backlog... XD BYU has a nice little duck pond on the edge of campus, so here are lots of duck photos! Juvenile Wood Ducks (4 photos): Mallard ducklings (3 photos): Adult Mallards (5 photos):

*pokes head into thread* Suzanne Collins has written other books. She's got another series called The Underland Chronicles about a kid who discovers a slightly Alice-in-Wonderland-esque world beneath the basement of his NYC apartment building. There are five books, and the first one is called Gregor the Overlander.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Sunbird replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I used to have a mild allergy to cats. If I was exposed to too much cat hair, especially getting it on my face, then my eyes would get itchy and watery and my nose would either run or get clogged up. But now I seem to be mostly desensitized: I can cuddle a shedding cat and the most annoying thing that usually happens is getting the occasional hair in my mouth. No runny nose or watery eyes. -
This was EXACTLY my reaction too!

Totally Miles. He is sooooo grouchy and seems to have a hard time taking a joke. Plus, gold compounding. Sadeas, on the other hand, would leave Wit alone unless assassinating him presented a political advantage. Who would be the quickest learner when it comes to driving a car, Adolin or Kaladin?

Oh man, that sounds horrendous! Maybe it's time to see an allergy specialist and test if you're reacting to something unexpected? -
@Sami XD Many music jokes are kinda mean since they tend to pick on the different players. For example: Q: What's the only advantage a bassoon has over an oboe? A: It burns longer.
-
@Sami That one can be adapted for any voice part: How do you know when a soprano is at the door? Or an alto/tenor/bass.
-
@Captains Domon Oh, ok.
-
@Captains Domon Unless I'm grievously mistaken, Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote the Tarzan books and Rudyard Kipling wrote The Jungle Book. Different authors and not an applicable example.

Wifi before death. Global spanreed network. Internet Fabrial. (No joke, I named my smartphone this.)

Hrathen. I think Denth would just shrug it off and do something sneaky in revenge later, but Hrathen I can see getting righteously angry and starting a brawl. Who would embarrass themselves more at a super-fancy restaurant, Clod or Lift?

These are less about Sanderson's books than they are about certain Sharders, but I figure this is the best place to put them anyway.

Q: What is the definition of a gentleman? A: A man who knows how to play the trombone, but doesn't.

Lift. In a question of who would pull a prank, the answer is always Lift. Who would make a better movie stuntman, Kelsier or Kaladin?

You know you're a Sanderfan when you wear a Mistborn T-shirt on the first day of the new semester and quote Jasnah in your very first class. XD -
@snipexe LOL, that's a bass, not a cello. Q: How do you tune two oboes? A: Shoot one. (I play oboe, so I'm allowed to poke fun )

FYI, I didn't check your count before placing that bet. You just rack up rep so fast that it only made sense, haha.

I'll bet 100 boxings that Calderis is the first one to become an Inquisitor.

Disclaimer: I have no idea what this notation means either. XD

This is one of my all-time favorite videos:

I'm still stuck on Mistborn too.

That depends entirely on Taravangian's intelligence level on the day of the tournament. If it's an average day, my money's on Iadon. But if Mr. T is especially smart that day, he'll win. Who would be the better surfer, Lopen or Sebarial?
