  1. I doubt it. I think Brandon wants Nale as an antagonist. From a story perspective, making him join Odium just to sideswitch back because of bad logic wouldn’t accomplish anything. Also, Nale sticks to his decisions. Look at how he kept on killing Radiants up until he had the Everstorm on his doorstep.
  2. We don’t know. I don’t think Kaladin cares honestly. And Alethkar is overrun by Voidbringers at the moment, so I don’t think it will matter until they get it back. But I guess that he either creates House Stormblessed or joins the Kholins.
  3. Just outlaw the Skybreakers.
  4. I think Taravangian would be a worthless Champion... and I also don’t see why Cultivation needs her own champion, unless she has her own agenda, which I doubt. It would be cool though, with a threeway duel. Kaladin vs Nale vs Jasnah would be a fight for the ages.
  5. Great job everyone! Congrats to Paranoid King, and also to Ark. I’m happy that you liked what you wrote this time around :-D
  6. The problem with Navani being a Bondsmith is that Rock and Rlain are (in my opinion) more interesting options. They are more culturally diverse, and would allow Brandon to tell a story that focus on other nations than the Alethi. I defenitely think Urithiru has a connection to the Sibling, but wether it is the Sibling is another question.
  7. Yeah, the only real reason to pick Moash over the others is that he is basically the only guy on Team Odium who isn’t batshit crazy.
  8. ”Its over, Tanalan! I have the high ground!”
  9. I don’t know any Magic lore, but I will read if Brandon writes it. Star Wars, DC, Warcraft or Marvel would be awesome too
  10. Probably a license product of some sort. I’ve seen people guess on Magic The Gathering, but it could be something else as well. I don’t know which kinds of franchises Brandon would be willing to write for.
  11. He wants to wipe out all the other Shards to become the most powerful in the Cosmere. We have that confirmed. He even has a hit list.
  12. To Sadeas parents: NO MATING
  13. The idea has been raised before, and I think it has its merits. Good points have been raised against it as well, such as the fact that Oroden is too young to agree to anything.
  14. Did Nohadon have a cook? Completely forgot that. Anyway, you can’t become Sleepless, just like humans can’t be elves in Lord of the Rings, for example. They are a separate kind of being. They can disguise themselves as humans though.
  15. To Amaram: Do NOT eat the storming gem.
  16. It would defenitely be interesting to watch the consequences for the characters and their worldview.
  17. Tillaume, for trying to suicide-bomb a guy who can stop time and self-heal.
  18. Kelsier. I have never been so mad at a fictional character as I was at TLR in that moment.
  19. Does Liss have to be Chana? I know people (me included) wants to see Chana, but wouldn´t it be more fitting for Vedel, who is loving and healing, to be the assassin? After all, brave and obedient already sounds like a good assassin, no manipulation of divine traits needed. Vedel on the other hand... killing goes directly against healing, and doing it to anyone as long as you get paid goes against loving pretty well. Now, I know that the Heralds don´t have to act in direct opposition of their divine traits, but some kinda does (Ash destroys paintings, which goes against being creative). So, what do you guys think. Could Liss be Vedel?
  20. That is a problem. It might work if the childs guardian accepts it for the child, but it is a long shot in several regards. The reason for why I like the idea is that it works so well with the aforementioned death rattle, and because of how it fits with the general theme of life before death and different moral choices.
  21. @dantlee You are correct: its been long since I read the back cover of WoK. Still, I doubt that the destruction and redeeming only has to do with the aimians. I think that if the aimians are destroyed, it will be in a scenario where the world is at risk as well. As for Moash, he is so obvious that he has to be a red herring. He might be a vessel for Yelig-nar, or become some kind of anti-Herald. The child theory is one I like as well. In that scenario, Kaladin could destroy the aimians while being Honors Champion, so it works.
  22. Captain Noro was the saddest death by far.
  23. The reason for Shallan is simple: she is the easist to break. Kaladin has close relationships with a lot of people, doesn’t hare lighteyes as much and gets better at handling his mental issues. Shallan has a ton of secrets, few close relationships, and might become close to Mraize and an Unmade. Her mental health is still a mess as well, and she has tons and tons of pain.
  24. I think this is where Restares will finally show up - taking the power over the Vorin church, and turning them into a threat. I doubt they will side with Odium willingly though. It is more likely that they will be a third party opposing Dalinar, maybe fighting him over the leadership of mankind.
