    I noticed an odd little thing. 'Heart of the Revel' basically means 'Life of the Party', and now I can't think of it any other way. Also, does anyone know when the full list of epigraphs will be posted on the Coppermind? I want to read through them again without flipping back and forth in the book.

    I just love that we find out who wrote the storming epigraphs from part 1...at the very end.

    That was possibly the most intense thing I've ever read. I bought this book at 10am, and now it's 5:30 pm and I'm done. Adolin and Shallan are perfect together, and none will ever convince me otherwise.

    So...any ideas as to when are we going to find out who the author of the preface is? Are we supposed to lose our minds guessing or is it supposed to be intuitively obvious to the casual observer?

    I'm so jealous of you, it's poisoning my mood. I really need to take a chill pill and realize that we'll be discussing the book for years, a week more or less doesn't matter and I'll have fifty different opportunities to point something out, anyway...

    Same here. I'm 25 years younger than him. In the best-case scenario, Brandon dies before us hopefully after all the books are done...

    I'm not sure why, but the line where one of the Skybreakers says that she was delayed because she stepped in to prevent an assault really stuck with me.

    I could theoretically read Oathbringer in 5-6 hours, but I'd miss all but the most basic plot. It will probably take me 10-12 hours to read it, although since I'm going to skim through part 1 and mostly just look at the illustrations, it's probably going to be closer to 8-10 hours.

    Well, my answer to that is 'because it's easier to live in a good society, and even if something doesn't affect me personally, it can affect me indirectly.' But that's just me.

    Today's epigraphs tell us that the author is considered a monster. Mr. T? Eshonai? Neither have been between realms, so that doesn't fit. Damnation, we better find out the author next week!
