  1. Hmm. Well the good news is we got one. The bad news... I need to go back and see who Kynedath supported. Unfortunately, as I've already stated, he is a good player who knows how to distance. The only person he has tied himself to all game was me and that was just having claimed he protected me night 3 or 4. I did not get narcotics this cycle so I am a free agent. (be afraid ) I really don't know who to go after anymore, maybe things will make more sense after the night. Illwei is pretty clearly not going to be the elim target tonight as if he is village trying to kill him has a one in four chance of returning on the elim.
  2. That would be so funny! I will take it as a compliment that you think I could pull something like this I'm almost disappointed that it isn't me!
  3. I enjoy this interaction so much and I wouldn't be upset if Zillah never confirmed in thread. (please let the dead doc at least know though.) I am not nearly brave enough to think this up as an elim, but now I might have to try it if it comes up again. @Zillah List of things I learned this game that I should claim the next time I'm an elim Oh, that last line is also really interesting. No I didn't see you target Sart, but I would guess that I would have. I have no way of confirming it, so maybe my ability was better than I thought. I knew it!!! Oh wait there was more I didn't think it sounded weird. It sounded excited and I enjoyed it. It's super interesting that coercion gets around protection. So they could have tried to kill you the normal way, but because they didn't they have a better chance of killing you. It's unfortunate that getting caught doesn't reset your probability of getting caught but I can see the reasons for rulings either way. Otherwise people like me would never have stopped doing illegal things. I'm so glad we agree. I really think Kynedath is the last elim with an outside chance of it being Silberfarben.
  4. Sorry sorry sorry I have things. It looks like I don't remember anything else so here is what actually happened last night turn. I got Narcotics (Yes!) that gave me teamwork targeting Ashbringer... right. I then was told I saw Ashbringer targeting Pyro. Hence I don't know what else targeted Pyro, because I never was targeting him. I messaged Zillah to see if she just wanted to change my target to Pyro and tell me anyone else who targeted him, but the consensus now is I just had a new power for a turn where I saw the targeter instead of the targeted. Aaaaaaand so it doesn't especially matter anyway. cool. All that matters is I didn't lie this time. Pyro, if your reveal is especially relevant still, then go for it. Sorry for making you all wait.
  5. It must be very exciting for so many of you to join us.
  6. I realized you had a secret thing happen... and since I didn't see who did the secret thing, I couldn't have targeted you with teamwork... Hmm. I'd vote for me too. This is why I'm waiting for the world to stop spinning. I talked with the IM, and it looks like one thing happened. I just wanted to wait for Zillah to respond to make sure. Don't tell us what the secret thing is yet. I'll see if I have that information rattling around in my brain. I may remember as I sober up. Oops sorry.
  7. Sorry this was a response to illwei. I'll edit in a quote "He" is Kynedath Cool here is mine D1: Illegal N1: Coercion, but role blocked by TJ D2: Safety N2: Connection with TJ (he died but Ashbringer put me in touch with Matrim) D3: Illegal N3: Narcotics - Connection to Kynedath D4: Illegal N4: Narcotics - Teamwork Pyro (I'm pretty sure no one else targeted him. Still just waiting for some clarity there). I just realized why Pyro is suspicious of me. The things are clicking and I promise it's not what you think, Pyro.
  8. EDIT for clarity END to EDIT That is fair. He made a bold move and I can respect that. Given that he is your highest suspect, would you consider voting Kynedath? Also an interesting note. It is likely that tonight is the last night of the game. we lose one player so we're down to five. one player is killed so we are down to four. One player is lynched so we are down to three. hmm. I was going to suggest that getting caught has no effect as the game will be decided if not by today's lynch, then certainly by tomorrow's, but a well placed role block could be the difference tomorrow night if we mislynch today and tomorrow That is fair. Soo, maybe illegal stuff isn't the best for tonight. Sorry I had to walk away for a bit so I have more to respond to. My point is, it doesn't prove you didn't submit an elim kill. Is your argument here that you not presenting that information makes you less likely to be an eliminator? or that if you had presented this information it would have made you more likely to be an eliminator? I can confirm that Mint was unfortunately lynched last cycle and she was village. I agree, you can't be the only elim, hence you are blue. I maintain Kynedath as my best suspect as I find it easier to believe Experience submitted a kill than that there are four elims. I guess I've already given my reasons for the rest of these. I don't think Pyro is bad, but It's not provable by the actions he's taken. On Night three I got connection and have a PM with Kynedath.
  9. Name: Elan Haynes Background: Explosives expert Drawbacks: bad person
  10. This is very interesting. I guess what I should have said is Ashbringer has claims that preclude him submitting the kill on nights 2, 3, and 4. Why do you trust Silber so much? I have him above Kynedath, but we have zero proof that he is good. At very best he is untested. I do understand trusting Pyro over me for the minute. Right, I could have worded that one a little better. "which you doubt" XD If you are good, then you are good and we aren't elims together. If you are bad then you know I'm good and we aren't elims together. This works in reverse and I can confidently say we are not on an elim team together this game and for now I am willing to believe you are also village. This is exciting to me and I look forward to it. I am most interested in your thoughts on Lord Silberfarben as I believe you will come to the same conclusion that illwei and Pyro are probably village.
  11. Elan walks past the excitedly chattering crowd, shovel in hand. These poor fools. They'll all be dead in a day or two. No real point getting to know any of them. He reaches a point about a hundred yards away from the throng and sets down his bulging pack. He begins to dig. The holes are one foot down and two feet wide. He doesn't bother making a perfect circle. A few years younger and he might have done, but in this game no one would bother to examine his handiwork. If he did a really good job, they wouldn't even notice the dirt had been overturned. The sun pounded on his back and the sweat began to roll into his eyes as he laid the igniter in the thirty-seventh of his little presents. It was nothing special. Just a bit of flint on the side of a pressure plate to let sparks fall into the waiting gunpowder. Once lit, the gunpowder would blow through the little sack of chalk (and the leg of anyone stepping on it) dispersing chalk and creating an incurable wound. Most victims would die of exposure. In his brief look through the roster, there seemed few of them old enough to have any real surgical experience. He surveys his sack. There is maybe enough chalk and gunpowder for fifteen more traps, but only three more igniters. He curses the time crunch and expertly covers most of the trap with topsoil and leaves making sure plenty of air will reach the powder at the bottom. It is time to head back for the lineup so no one realizes he's already been rigging the course.
  12. Right, so it's down to six. I really hope you were wrong about there being two eliminators, because this could be it here. I wait with baited breath wait, I didn't think you were full on role blocked by being caught. I thought you were just unable to get a passion. *checks the rules* Yeah, you only couldn't use a passion. I don't know if not knowing that makes you more likely to be elim or not. Yeah, the way it works for me is the first person to claim is cleared to the other of not having submitted the kill. If I had claimed first you would know I'm not lying because I couldn't possibly have known without using teamwork... Unless we're the last two elims but we're not. I don't think so. There was a slight irregularity with my PM... as what I got was narcotics (again) , but I'm working on making the world stop spinning and melting, so I'll let you know when I get there. Here is my list of reads Elkanah - I read his GM PM Illwei - went straight after and lynched Vapor. Super cold move if on the same team Ashbringer - Couldn't have submitted the kill on nights 2,3,and 4 Pyro - Resurrected conversation after we lost TJ and Matrim. Feels like he is genuinely trying to solve the game. Silberfarben - had a kind of crazy play for an elim by confirming someone good. Kynedath - I only picked up a couple tells on day one of trying to be helpful without tying himself to anyone. He is a good player and knows how to stay unaffiliated with teammates. He has been active enough to submit kills. The only reason in the whole game that he wouldn't be an elim is that he was role blocked on night two and It was still possible if slightly unlikely that Experience sent in the kill since no one role blocked him. I'd love to hear other's thoughts because I realize my list is upside down to some of yours.
  13. I can confirm that Ashbringer targeted Pyro. I don't know what with, but it was certainly not a kill unless someone else wants to claim to have protected him? You're pretty out of the dog house for me now, Ashbringer. So I'm back to Silberfarben, Kynedath and an outside chance at Pyro.
  14. I see what you're saying, but I recommend not doing that. Thank you... I think.
  15. I lost a lot of material to my my internet cutting out for a minute, but reviewing my own previous reasons for trusting Mint and given the last few posts, my faith is renewed... and I'm back at a loss of who to vote for. If it can't be just Kynedath and it isn't Mint, I'm down to Silberfarben and Kynedath with an outside chance at it being Pyro. The thing is, elim!Pyro has nothing to gain from protecting Mint. Nothing at all. I don't believe they could be on an elim team together because this post about an hour ago is a complete 180. That being the case, I'd prefer to lynch Silberfarben than Ashbringer or Mint Kynedath Lord Silberfarben Edit: wow, I counted the votes and the totals didn't change except minus one on Kynedath. I guess it's up to the gods of luck and chance now.
  16. soo this is not at all the map that I set out to make. I wanted to make a map of claimed actions that would provide information on who could have submitted elim kills which night. However, I went too far back and started rereading Day 1 and I finally understand why you all think Mint is suspicious... and I'm afraid I'm starting to agree. Post 1 This is where Vapor poke votes Frozen Mint. I thought this is why so many people suspected her. I maintain that being poked by an eliminator is completely not alignment indicative. Some argued it could be when Vapor is the one poking. That wasn't enough for me. I was further vindicated in my thought process when Experience voted for her. Post 2 Here Elandera also votes for Mint to resurrect the contribution crusade Post 3 Vapor begins to defend Mint despite voting for her. I have realized this is the actual bit that makes Vapor's vote on Mint suspect I have more coming but I need to respond to Pyro's post. What about that post makes you less likely to vote for Mint. I mean, I remember having the same reaction on Night 2 when I responded to that post, but what about that post just now spoke to you?
  17. I realize no one asked, but I wanted a vote count so I made one. Ashbringer (2): Silberfarben, Kynedath, Kynedath (2): Elkanah, Pyromancer, Frozen Mint (1): Ashbringer Silberfarben (2): Mint, Illwei Hmm. that's closer than I thought it was. I am considering changing over to Lord Silberfarben as he is my second to least trusted for now and we get better information from his lynch- namely if he is village, we know Sart is good. If not we don't have reason to believe that and it doesn't help that Sart has not posted in 5 days. @Sart please come join us for more murder death kill. Edit: ninja'd by Young Pyromancer Ashbringer (2): Silberfarben, Kynedath, Kynedath (1): Elkanah, Frozen Mint (2): Ashbringer, Pyromancer, Silberfarben (2): Mint, Illwei Ed2t: This is interesting. I'm going to go make a map. back soon
  18. I agree that I finally have a reason to think Ashbringer is village. Like I said, he was in the bottom three because I hadn't found any village tells yet. I finally found one in his attempt to solve the game, hence I removed my vote. I still think there were only three elims. Four is a lot. I am just having a hard time reconciling three with the fact that we don't have a village claimed kill. The other option is that Matrim had a kill and used it on Lotus. As we established, Matrim and I were in a PM together in we he told me he lied about having connection. He claimed a different ability that wasn't violence, but I guess he could have lied to me, too. I was hoping someone would admit in thread that they were targeted by something he told me he would do, but it's possible he targeted Lotus or that he had a different ability than he told me. In short, It's possible Matrim killed Lotus. If that's the case, I stand by three elims. I guess it's also possible Lotus killed matrim, but I don't think that's likely as Lotus was the next to be lynched and the elims could have just allowed that to happen. Maybe they thought Lotus would be scanned as good? but just kill them then as it looks like we didn't have a seer last round anyway. I believe Lotus was a village kill in lieu of a scan. I'd just love to know who it was. And you are correct that not knowing is making me question probably more than I should. I'd also like to know. My guess is Ashbringer and Illwei have come to agree with Zillah when she said: "never trust elkanah, but I don't think he is an elim." The best advice I have ever heard. My updated trust list for now. Sart Illwei Blue Mint Pyro Ashbringer Silberfarben Kynedath I should explain a little. Purple is I am near certain due to mechanical or other evidence. Blue is hard evidence exists. Green is I want to trust or I have tenuous reason to trust. (I need an extra discrete color to split that.) Yellow is slight attachment to someone that may prove good based on an alignment reveal. Orange is no reason to trust. Red is most likely an elim. My internet is having trouble so I'll post this for now and come back in a bit
  19. I had mint as trusted because Vapor's vote day one didn't feel like an elim distancing from another one. Mint really was just the last person to show up and Vapor's vote was a way of pretending to engage without giving us any info on her. I was getting ready to reset my read, but I got the feeling that Experience really did want to put her up as the alternate lynch for last cycle. I got the vibe he was trying to grab anyone he thought could slow his death rather than distancing from her. I do understand that we now have two known elims who have voted for Mint. I don't actually know if it was distancing or not, but neither post felt like it to me. I maintain she was an actual lynch target in at least one of the cases and is therefore pretty cleared in my book. I admit that no one coming forward and claiming the second kill is making me nervous that we still have two eliminators. I'll go ahead and remove on Ashbringer for now. I still want to do a post on you, but you are more active than I am right now and that was really what I wanted.
  20. Ooooohhh it was you!! Full send. Matrim and I both targetted TJ to put in a PM with ourselves and TJ died, but we somehow ended up in a PM! I couldn't figure out what happened so I just let him believe it was me all along. Edit: Sorry Matrim
  21. Okay, I have my character. Name: Elan Haynes Physical Description: 1.86 meters tall with a bulky build. Blue eyes. Brown hair in a buzz cut. Skills: 10 years experience as a rithmatist, pattern analysis, explosives expert Drawbacks: Bigger build, Out of shape, Can come across condescending.
  22. Hmm good question. I don't see any reason to withhold said information since it can't be disrupted at this point (or really ever). But it also is unlikely to be especially relevant unless they entrusted you with a secret to be revealed upon their death. That wasn't the question you wanted me to answer though. I certainly can . Red would have been the bottom. I had you as slightly less trusted than Matrim and slightly more trusted than TJ before. That trust in you hasn't changed. The reason I haven't put Sart above you yet is the off chance that Lord Silberfarben ran a really risky play wherin they are on a team and one claims the other is good. Too risky you say? Well it worked without anyone giving it too much thought. Watch Silberfarben submitted the kill night one and needed some role to claim to cover himself. He clears a teammate and we all move on. ....... .... ... Except I think there is only one elim left. Which means Sart and Silberfarben couldn't be bad together. .... hm. Yeah fair enough I can move him up. The point is I don't mistrust either of you. I'm not sure what would give you that idea... Oh shoot. It's a day. Ashbringer I remember someone said they trusted you, but I don't remember why. I don't have any village indicators on you yet, so I'll spend my next post as an analysis of your work.
  23. Well, that was something. I have a question for no one in particular, but I'll wait to see if they answer first. People I Trust Most to least Illwei Sart Mint Silberfarben Pyro Kynedath Ashbringer I used Narcotics (YAY) but I didn't kill anyone... or scan anyone
  24. Riiiight! I keep forgetting to fix that. I wrote the code before the game started. I got the idea from a true or false quiz I was taking between the last two games. So the true statements are letters from the first half of the alphabet and the false statements come from the second half. Then you count the number of words in the statement, subtract two and then it aligns with the alphabet. For example the second statement is "Silence has guts." This is true so in the first half of the alphabet. I count the words (3) subtract 2 (1) and that gives me the letter A. The code says There you go. Of course I wrote it before the game started so it has no bearing on anything. Just some fun I had putting off studying.
