Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings
Arraenae replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Emphasis mine. I don't understand the reasoning behind that. Being an Inquisitor doesn't automatically comes with magical lynch-avoidance powers, so getting lynched doesn't clear somebody of being an Inquisitor. Besides, Kipper got lynched, and you say that he's most likely to be the Inquisitor out of the people who have survived a hit. -
Hello there. How has your day been?

Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings
Arraenae replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Aonar: C1: In the beginning, he says he doesn't have the motivation to do anything much. He also said that he might have more motivation to analyze later, which is something I'm going to hold him to. Neutral to a D1 lynch. Says that a bad one could be really bad, and a good one will be less useful than usual, but D2 the situation will be the same with one less player. He explains what LG2's Ubermetals did, but suggests that Orlok and Stink might have different ones. More to come, hopefully. Gah, sorry for not posting. There was a bit of parental drama yesterday and chances are my computer access will be rather limited over the next week. EDIT: following what Lopen is doing and voting on Meta so my vote can be soothed. I don't have enough time before rollover to analyze what happened today. -
Yesterday a plotbunny jumped into my head. A woman is turning around with her eyes narrowed in suspicion as she unsheathes her sword. The image is captioned "I miss the days when I could salk outside without a wearing armor."

@OrlokTsubodai, in the writeup, are protects distinguished from extra lives? -
Eh, I'm not sure femininity requires all of those things. I'm a girl and sometimes I care about these things, sometimes I don't. When I was younger, I was obsessed with dresses, but not I'm not. Sure, I like the way some dresses look, and if I was to go shopping for a prom dress, there are some things that I would absolutely drool over. However, I can probably count the number of times I've worn a dress or a skirt in the last year (that was not assigned attire) with two hands. I like pants, trousers, leggings, etc much better. Most of the time, I also don't care much about my appearance. I've only worn makeup for team events, where it's required. I've been planning to put on some sparkly red nail polish that was a Christmas gift, but I keep on putting it off because of a lack of time. I've also gone alone to a few school dances before and was absolutely bored to death. I can't say that I'd ever want to fight with a sword, because I'm more likely to slice myself up with it than anything else. I did learn Krav Maga for a while last summer, and it was much more engaging than those two school dances. I might not be a perfect example of the Strong Female Character, but I feel like I'm closer to that than Damsel In Distress.

Bugsy: C1: Explains how High Imperial works to me. Also says that for the next 10 days (from about March 25 to April 5), he'll be less active. RPs a bit. Gets on Len's case for knowing LG32 is a rerun of LG2 but not reading the rules for it, which seems kind of weird. Plenty of lazy players can play a game and not really know the rules, especially if it's only D1. I've done that myself. Bugsy responds to Aman and says that the Inquisitor is likely to try to post less frequently to try to fly under the radar. Aside: I know that Aman started asking people about this first, but I find it kind of pointless to discuss what one thinks the Inquisitor will do C1. It seems like it would open the way for IKYKs or potentially give the Inquisitor potential strategies. I felt like it might have been better to ask mid-game, after the Inquisitor had already did and said stuff that people can observe. C2: Nothing. C3: Disagrees with DA about Arin being suspicious, saying that there weren't any elim buddies for Arin to have suspicious interactions with. D4: Nothing. I lean slight distrust on Bugsy. He's not very active and I don't quite get his reasoning. Slight distrust. More to come, probably in semi- alphabetical order. Everybody with A names, I may or may not have completey forgotten your existence until I reread the thread... -
In LG30, my character, Ralaanar, was an artist. I decided to run with that and drew several pieces for it. Ashetvl "Whatcha doing, Ralaanar?" "Um, drawing. Yeah. Just drawing." "Can I see it?" "Um, um -- hey!" "Is it that rude woman from the party? Ashewhatsherface?" "Um...." Rissa "Draw me like an Honorspren, Ralaanar." "Um, um, what?" "It's not fair that only Honorspren get drawn as the humanlike ones. I wanna look human too." "What, uh, did you do to yourself?" "Oh, I just grew into this position. Took about an hour. Hurry up, it's getting uncomfortable." "Uh, okay..."

Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings

Eh. Not sure if I count as an active player this time of the year. I had been thinking of voting for Drake D2, but I felt that I should focus on someone else, and then mostly forgot about it. Wilson's analysis of Drake lit a fire under my butt and reminded me that hey, I'd been planning to vote on Drake. -

I feel like voting on inactiges now is likely to stop the momentum we have now. When I have more time (probably Friday at earliest), I'll start looking at each player individually. @Ecthelion III, what do you mean by "thanking the doctor"? -

That sounds awful. *hugs DA. -
Fight scenes are a little iffy for me. I've never been in an actual fistfight before, so I can't draw off of my experiences with that. I sometimes feel that my writing is too rushed and doesn't have enough details or scene description, and that feeling intensifies when I write fight scenes.

Wilson covered a lot of my points already. Really, I don't think Drake is doing a very good job defending himself. The more he talks, the more suspicious I get. Maybe I'm tunneling, maybe I'm not. I feel like it's pretty likely that he's the Inquisitor. -

Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings
Arraenae replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I feel that Drake's behavior during N1 was pretty elim-like. Also, N1, when defending himself, he said "Or actually...changin' my mind. If you want me to prove I'm not a rioter, what better way is there but to cast a vote?" Casting a vote that didn't disappear wouldn't prove very much. All it would have shown was that Drake's vote didn't disappear this cycle. As part of a defense, it's kind of odd. "Ah, apology accepted, Quinn," Rhea said. "Just make sure you don't do it again." She turned to face Garshin." Why would a powerful Lord want to kidnap us? My House is really small. We make custom clothing. We haven't even been a minor power anywhere since six or seven years ago." -

Rhea stared at the two men with wide eyes. Why would they want to kill Lord Tekiel? What had he ever done to them? By the Lord Ruler, this was exactly the type of situation Uncle Dayton hard warned about! She needed to get away from these nutcases as fast as possible. But maybe... maybe she could get out and warn Lord Tekiel first. That might earn House Aurette his gratitude and maybe has business. "My name's Rhea. Rhea Aurette. Why would you want to kill Lord Tekiel?" -
Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings
Arraenae replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Rhea woke up to unfamiliar surroundings again. She groaned and sat up. By the Lord Ruler, her head hurt. Several corpses were lying on the ground around her. No, not corpses. Their chests rose and fell, so they were definitely breathing. They had to be sleeping. Around the sleeping bodies, some people were standing up. Maybe they had been kidnapped, just like her. Rhea felt around for her purse and breathed a sigh of relief. It was still there. Now she had to figure out who had kidnapped her, how to escape, and how to reach Lord Tekiel. Hopefully, she wasn't late for whatever event his invitation had been for. She stood up and approached someone. "Excuse me, why was I kidnapped?" Rhea asked. -

It looks like Meta has gone inactive. I sent him a PM. No response. He hasn't even opened it. His profile says that the last time he was on this website was Thursday 11:37 PDT. Last Night started Friday 3:00 PM PDT for me. I don't think Meta could send an order without getting onto this site, so he definitely can't be the Inquisitor. -
