    I...just...felt sympathy for Twy's mom. She's trying to provide a good environment for her children the only way she's learned how (I reference the books on child manipulation mentioned earlier) and she is failing horribly. Now she's loosing her children, but is so out of touch with what is actually going on that she takes a reasonable response to her abuse as an example of hatred. I'm not saying that what she's doing is right, but she at least probably has good intentions.

    So, on the Bad Day thread, I posted that my brother was in the hospital because of an extremely weakened immune system and that cancer was a possibility. Turns out, it was a result of a medication he was given which is known to have this as a possible side effect. He is currently under house arrest until his immune system recovers, but is otherwise fine!

    I thought Allomancer Jak was female? Am I completely wrong? Also, why do we call people from other Cosmere planets worldhoppers? They are clearly aliens.

    I believe that it has been confirmed that Odium Splinters Shards using the same technique that was used to Shatter Adonalsium. His ability to kill the Shardholders is indeed a result of his being relatively Uninvested.

    I believe Shardplate to be solid Investiture like Lerasium or Atium, but considerably more Invested than either.

    This is a topic for you to tell the Shard about the superpowers that you have. For example, I have the ability to attract people of the same name. In my neighborhood there are at least five people with the same name, probably more. This past summer I worked at a Boy Scout camp, within a few weeks there was a new staff member in my tent with the same name as me. My other powers are podal dexterity ( I can stuff with my feet, like open doors or tickle people) I can unintentionally memorize quotes from movies, TV shows, etc. as well as fact retention. What are your powers?

    Either or both. With the exception of the DA, most practitioners of Hemalurgy have spikes in them as well as pounding spikes into others. I would like to suggest that those who have a spike in them who do not put spikes into others--like Penrod in HOA--be called Hemalurgics.
