Hopefully the tour dates? (Actually as much as I want those, there are definitely some other things that come to mind that would be awesome...)

So back in 2012 when the Mistborn Adventure Game launched they sold custom dice with Steel Alphabet symbols on them. Unfortunately they quickly sold out and didn't have an easy way to get them back in stock. Well that is soon changing. Launching this Monday (December 15) is a Kickstarter campaign to bring them back! (Please note that the project is not live and that page is a draft, hopefully this link works once it goes live, if not I'll fix it. Edit: If you have any Questions/Comments/Concerns Crafty would like to hear them, they have a thread on their forums discussing it.

Hopefully today, if not by sometime next week.

Psst. maybe it would be prudent to move this discussion to its own thread? This isn't exactly the place for that kind of discussion.

Currently the Unfettered anthology is the only way to get and I don't think Brandon et al. have any plans to release it separately at this point. Or at least not that they've mentioned. Personally though the anthology as a whole is well worth the money (or at least the ebook version is). Granted I've only read a few of the stories but what I have read have been fantastic. To me it's a no brainer, if they released it separately it would cost at least 2.99, the ebook of the whole anthology is only 7.99 on kindle/nook, which is a pretty good deal in my opinion.

Actually from what we can tell they're fairly similar, you can even tell roughly where Elendel will be located in the Final Empire map (a bit to the east of Mt Doriel). In fact a lot of names in the Elendel basin are based on what used to be there. Doriel (the city) is about where Mt Doriel was. Same with the Channerel River and the Channerel Range and the Tyrian sea.

To my knowledge no, there are no other, currently available, maps. That is the largest Scadrial map we have. Brandon has mentioned that he recently had Isaac do a world map for Sel which will probably be in the 10th anniversary edition of Elantris coming out next year.

Inconsistencies with Ashyn & Threnody
WeiryWriter replied to Geekritique's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Also the officetroll asked about The Silence Divine in that instance because we knew previously that The Silence Divine took place on a planet in the same system as Roshar, but Brandon wouldn't tell us what it was called. -
Inconsistencies with Ashyn & Threnody
WeiryWriter replied to Geekritique's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Umm I'm not sure what the issue is? The Silence Divine does take place on Ashyn, and Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell takes place on Threnody. Threnody is a minor Shardworld, all inhabited worlds are called Shardworlds, it's a minor one because it lacks its own Shard. As for the thing in the WoB thread Brandon made a mistake (which I made a note about in the Theoryland entry) -
Yeah, the continent does look rather large, and rather far north. The "peak" of the arc the Reshi islands make is roughly on the equator (This map has latitude marks), granted it could be a matter of perspective? Edit: Also on the note about the sun, I think it is wrong to say it is too young to support life (since it /is/ supporting life), it's just too young for these things to have developed naturally.

We actually knew this long before that. (and FYI that link won't work-- well it will get you to the right page but not the right post specifically. You'd need to click on the post number which will make a pop up with a link, or you can right click it and copy link location - http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/20500-orem-library-signing-on-december-6/page-3#entry204063)

That's not what that WoB says... It asks "Is there a magic system that is *best* for worldhopping" which there is, but it's not the only one that can be used. Granted I do believe that you can worldhop with out a system but that WoB doesn't have an impact on the matter.

The Ultimate List of Questions for Brandon
WeiryWriter replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Actually there is a lot of backlog on Theoryland, but that really doesn't matter here. The list should always be updated, it's a distinct entity from Theoryland. It's just that between tours it's a fairly low priority, but hopefully it'll get done before the Firefight tour next month. -
Actually it was Peter saying "I thought it was obvious in the text that he was from Thaylenah" that made us think he was from Thaylenah. I think most of us, at least I did, thought he was an off-worlder before that.
-
As a point of fact I did know that Brandon had mentioned the /possibility/ of doing one, as in he wanted to do one, but he said that all quite some time ago. (and it was almost always mentioned in conjunction with the release of Elantris 2, which we know isn't happening... probably) I had started to lose hope that it was going to happen. This is the first I've heard that it is /actually/ happening. I had had my hopes when we found out he had Isaac do a Sel world map but there was nothing confirmed.

Okay... so... um... wow. I guess I don't have to finish me re-write for one of my theories (I think... Cognitive shadows are confusing now). But anywasy some really fascinating stuff here, like the Expanse of Vapors being Sca-- WAIT A MINUTE!?!?!?!? ELANTRIS 10TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION?!?!?! *Weiry runs away screaming like a maniac and probably runs into a tree or something* Edit: Insert Kyoshi Island Foaming Mouth Guy gif:

Also with regards to Greater Roshar, the star itself isn't old enough for the level of development on the planets. Anyway I think this is a really neat idea! It may not be a scientific star-chart but it is an artistic rendering of all the Shardworlds. I look forward to future iterations! I definitely think Threnody is close to Scadrial, even if it isn't in the same system, precisely because of the Starbelt (which Windy first pointed out 'cause I totally missed that).

The Ultimate List of Questions for Brandon
WeiryWriter replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Taldain does not share a solar system with any other main Shardworlds, Bavadin is the only Shard there: (source) -
That's not precisely true, the exact WoB says that Sazed will have great difficulty acting, not that he will be completely unable to.

Mistborn fan looking for where to go next
WeiryWriter replied to Siriagus's topic in Introduce Yourself!
It's a figure of speech, no need to be rude. -
We already have that capability, the button is just called "More Reply Options" instead.
-
Hmm... That is either good, or really, really troubling...
-
OOOH that's actually a really interesting question! Definitely worth a shot.

What did you ask?

Who has that pesky tenth Honorblade?
