  1. I'll sign up! Lynch rule: If more than 50% of the votes cast in one cycle are on the player who would be lynched, that player is removed from the game completely. If 50% or less of the votes cast in a cycle are on the player who would be lynched, that player is locked up, can still vote, cannot take any actions, cannot start PMs, and their alignment & role is revealed.
  2. I'm sad I died so early, I had so many plans. But kudos to the elims for randomly killing the person with the most info night one! Legit, I had figured out all the faction powers, and who was in each faction except for five players. I was super duper excited to play as the sequence, but it appears the EBI had different plans! I'd love to see this game run again, it was fascinating and I loved it! Thanks to DeTess for running it!
  3. Oh no! 45 minutes too late! I appreciate it anyway though, thank you so much my dude!
  4. Ezira, good with a bow, awful with the ladies, signing up!
  5. My point though is that you shouldn't start with me because I don't want to die.
  6. . . . What am I proving? I've been fairly active, I'm pretty sure I have one of the highest content counts on this thread. And also I'm keeping the morale of the Set up with my awesome meme. I smile whenever I look at it. What else can I do to prove myself at this point? Oh, also by your logic everybody in this game is guilty right now because nobody can prove they are Set and not EBI. Including you.
  7. Honestly I think I'd be down for that. Part of it is that I don't want a 50% chance of dying, but I also think that it could work in a game like this! From what I can tell there are various ways to gather information between the subsets and the various allomantic/feruchemical roles, so the lynch may not be necessary. I've never liked lynching day 1 it feels mean and you can verify that in any other game I've played previous to this. I am in support of a no lynch cycle 1.
  8. 4 elims makes the most sense. Thematically it doesn't make sense to have an equal number of EBI to Set members. And even more than that the eliminating players mechanic that we know of points towards a standard game rather than a faction game. I highly doubt a faction game is what we are facing.
  9. Glad to have you back Coda! We have a legitimate chance of winning if we play our cards right, but my best guess is that we have to get the upper hand this cycle.
  10. Rust and Ruin this game is going to be so so much fun, I can already tell! @Butt Ad Venture DeTess is the GM, which I'm sure you're aware of, you're smart and discerning, but I was wondering what you hope to accomplish? If I remember correctly, killing the GM has happened before in a prior game of SE, can I ask what happened? Or if I am incorrect, please let me know, I'm honestly really curious.
  11. Okay, fair enough. I was holding out hope that you'd want to hold on to anonymity a little longer fifth, but it seems this has now been turned into a straight roles and items game. Scud.
  12. @Rathmaskal, @StrikerEZ, you both were not part of the final showdown happening in the last cycle but we really need you guys to help us out if the village is going to pull out a victory.
  13. Okay folks! Time to get cracking! 7 players left, I'm assuming 3 elims and 4 villagers. I assume we can trust Xino and their predictions, so I am going to vote on Araris. If you are village, please join me in this vote. We can only arrest one elim per cycle, so we need to be united in who we choose. We have it on very good confidence that both Araris and Abstrucity are elims so lets focus on that instead of becoming distracted with finding the others. We can deliberate that to our hearts content, but I believe it would be in our best interest to keep our votes focused. With some clever play the village can still win. Guns need to be bought, vote manipulation needs to be used, and pressure needs to be kept up. If anyone votes for someone other than Araris or Abstrucity for the next two cycles then I am honestly going to automatically assume that they are the last member of the elim team.
  14. Wow, okay. Not much time to post, but considering the information put forward by Xino, I am going to change my vote from Sart to Araris. It's a bold accusation and although it could be a ploy to save their skin, I'm inclined to believe Xino. If they lied then we have a clear lynch candidate next cycle.
  15. Yeah, I'm definitely not as active in this game as I was in the last one. Not sure there is any particular reason, just how the cookie crumbled this game I suppose. But ask and ye shall receive: Elkanah: Chaotic as always, but you do add a to to game discussion. By voting on me I think you're village, because I really haven't been as active as normal. Your logic is solid, you have reasoning behind your decisions, village read. Striker: Kind of disappeared by the end of last cycle, but overall slight village read from their earlier stuff I think. Araris: I find them suspicious, They have been contributing and encouraging others to contribute, but it almost seems like they're being too good at not being suspicous. They haven't taken any risks really, it reads off to me. Plus they were third on the Kidpen lynch which could very well be trying to solidify the lynch away from them and their other conspirators up for lynch. Fifth: I probably trust them the most, they bring new discussion to the table, have really solid logic, and I get a fairly strong village read. Sart: Top of my suspicions, for reasons outlined last cycle, but the jist of it is that I get bad feelings about their chit passing plan, plus when someone said they thought it wouldnt be useful and pointed out some flaws, they backed off real fast. Those are the standouts for my trusts and suspicions, I'll vote on Sart again, although if there is another compelling vote then I can consider it, I don't want to have complete tunnel vision.
  16. I don't feel like there is enough reason to suspect those who voted on Coda, there is plenty of reason that they would have voted on them, and their voting didn't seem to be of hypothetical use to a potential elim.
  17. So sorry for coming on so late in the cycle! I had a bit of a rough day yesterday, I didn't get on to post anything. My suspicions are currently very weak, but at the top of my suspicion list lies Sart. Their proposal of the chit passing idea sounds weird and complicated and I don't really get it, but essentially it sounded like getting everyone to pass a chit to waste an action in an attempt to confirm actions that would be pretty easily counterable. In addition, once Fifth pointed out it was a mayory plan and that they didn't agree with it, Sart backed off right away. I see that kind of disowning of ideas as something a eliminator would do to avoid too much suspicion when an idea of theirs comes into play. Sart says that they did it to drum up discussion, but then immediately points out all of the flaws in the plan so that there is no longer any need for discussion. It all seems fishy to me.
  18. Aight, my character will be Victoria Stadtt. Professional listener for the Set.
  19. I did say five, I was counting from before Abstrusity retracted their vote on Kidpen. @Abstrusity I hope you know I don't mean to be condescending or anything, I just was trying to explain the process fully for you. You seem to have the hang of it now!
  20. That vote count is saying that fifth voted on you, not that you voted on fifth, It was correct. At this point it's a 5-way tie, each person with 1 vote on them.
  21. Standard procedures for retracting a vote in SE are to post the players name who you're voting for in green. For example Abstrusity Abstrusity. At that point voting for nobody would be implied since you don't have a vote on anyone.
  22. From my understanding, they start off with a destructor pistol that isn't included in the two in the shop. @Elandera, is that correct, or will the destructor pistol the gunner starts with take one away from the market? The changes in the items will be making this game a bit more conservative with the items, hopefully that will make them easier to track. Not really game relevant, but out of curiosity I looked up d14 dice, and there are plenty of manufacturers of speciality dice out there! Just a little interesting piece of trivia for you.
  23. I think I have, but I don't really remember it that well. I'll look it up on the coppermind.
