My school: "We could get more books for the library and updated textbooks so we could teach the most up to date concepts, and educate like we are supposed to. Or we could get some pretty new uniforms for the football team." Guess which one they did. -

On a somewhat related note, when I did my time management course for Venturing, one of the goals was to recognize and control squirrels. It wasn't what I hoped for.

If Backtrack ever gets his sunglasses back, he needs to meet this epic that I made today: FeeltheLove: Can animate the object most valuable to a person, making it attack them. Edit: *reads Nighthound post, dies a little(okay, almost completely), grabs for brain bleach, applies brain bleach liberally. Much better.

Voidus, what did the Adventurer do on Halloween before he became an epic? I have this image of him thinking that anyone dressed up for Halloween is evil, unless they are dressed like a princess, running around and alternatively hitting people with a sword and asking for quests. It is sparking hilarious.

And the worst thing is when they emphasize the importance of a good night's sleep, while simultaneously piling on so much homework that sleep is unattainable. Those two conditions are mutually exclusive! Sorry about the homework overload.

One of my best friends on my cross country team had a bad day at the last meet, And today the coaches told her that she was on junior varsity until she got back in our top seven( she did that today). But she was upset and crying about it before she got to run, and I couldn't do anything to help. I couldn't even be comforting. I hate being powerless when it is just me concerned, but with a friend, it is a hundred times worse. She told me that it is okay, but I still feel horrible.
