I agree with Navani on the subject of gender roles in Alethi culture. If you are a lighteyed woman, you think, if you are a male, you either hit stuff or farm, and I'm not quite sure what darkeyed women do. Roshar is not exactly enlightened.Edit: And now I'm a stormwarden, which probably the job that Alethi!me would have.

Personally, I've always preferred A Wind in the Door and A Swiftly Tilting Planet to A Wrinkle in Time. They tend to be a little more mature. And A Wind in the Door has Echthroi, which are just cool.

Watching Avatar: The Last Airbender for the umpteenth time, I have decided that Jet is the person that Kelsier would have become without a crew to act as his conscience. They are both utterly opposed to one group of people, they could both smile while they kill and they are both charismatic, egocentric leaders with sociopathic tendencies exacerbated by losing someone to their enemy. Does the Akinator find out if the character that you are thinking of is Lightwards by asking if he decks himself with false blossoms to pilfer a goat from a burning house while hiding a borrowed knife behind his smile? While I am not Lark, I would recommend it. I really like the series. Except for book ten. Just read a summary of book ten, you won't miss much.
