  1. I call it soda, even though the farthest north I have ever lived is in the middle of Virginia. I bought a Fanta one day, and when the cashier asked me about my coke, I was quite confused. My mother regrets my lack of southern tendencies. Personally, I'm fine with it. My town is actually quite a good example of cultural blending, as it is a military town and people bring the culture of other areas with them. It's interesting, and it's why I loved AP Human Geography last year. That class is so awesome.Edit: 200 posts! I'm so glad I finally made an account.
  2. Good luck! What for?
  3. There are models for how quickly an airtight room fills with carbon dioxide. This kind of scares me, but at the same time, it is nice that I can access this information so easily for my posts.
  4. "And the airflow in and out of the prison? Will she be able to breathe now?" So Rainmaker did have a plan for the epic. Maybe she was smarter than Gelliton had thought. Not that that was a difficult task. "The gel is still permeable to air, but not as permeable as the snow was. Let me seal the edges, and the cell should fill with carbon dioxide within a few hours." Gelliton walked around the edge of the prison, pulling any of the gel that remained on the ground around the cell, sealing it off. "It's sealed as well as it can be now. If suffocation can kill her, then you'll know within three hours."
  5. Yeah, sadly I know that I can barely manage for a day on less than four hours of sleep, so a threshold remains. I just can't help but think of what I could do if I didn't need sleep.
  6. Rainmaker spoke, waving her hand and making a passage through her gale. "Well get on it, I haven't got all day." Fuming, Gelliton rose from her seat, which collapsed without her weight keeping it solid, and strode through the gap, silently resolving to take her time. When she reached the giant cage of snow and ice, she started to draft some of her fire-resistant gel, more fluid than her other gels. Drafting at only a fraction of her normal pace, she created the necessary amount of gel within six minutes. She than applied the gel, drafting it over the prison to create a shiny shell. Walking around the cell, she pretended to inspect it, adding bands of gel at random. Gelliton turned around and walked back, concealing a smirk at the sight of a frowning Rainmaker. Sparking woman. I'd better get quite a prize for this. The witch was late to her own appointment, not that Gelliton had expected any differently. She dismissed the remains of her old chair, and drafted another, making sure to work somewhat slowly. She faced Rainmaker and spoke. "There. I doubt even she can set fire to this prison now."
  7. Yeah, I'm trying to work with about six hours right now, and managing. I might go for five eventually, but at some point, you just reach a threshold. I wish I could go without a fourth of my life spent in oblivion, though. SLEEP! *shakes fist at sky
  8. He must never be allowed to meet Andross. They are both scary enough on their own, and together, the could almost scare Nighthound.
  9. Um... you really, really, really like marshmallow cream?
  10. Twentydeaths!Lightwards strikes again.
  11. Or if you split it in half, you get two immortal acid spitting rhinos. Combine it with a bird and you get a flying immortal acid spitting rhino.
  12. That sounds awesome. Sadly, even my friends who read Sanderson are not likely to wear mistcloaks.
  13. *hugs Mistrunner I know that moving is hard. When I first moved here, I couldn't stand it, but now I wouldn't go back. It will be ok. *gives Mistrunner chocolate
  14. The Great Lord Elend Venture. Spoilered for Twi
  15. Your ninja interests me. Especially since it pertains to bad* things happening to Deathwish.*Only for Deathwish. Everyone else will throw a party, with alcohol, so Scribbler is too happy to avoid it and faces her weakness.
  16. Scribbler could probably help with that. Edit: Murderlina is a slontze.
  17. Can Shiny please reject Deathwish? It would be appropriate if he is the only person that she does not fall in love with inside of five seconds. Let me guess. After that, Quicksilver flaunts the law by ( it's almost too horrible to say) jaywalking.
  18. Other people prepare for zombies. We prepare for epics. I'd hide out somewhere noisy, crowded, bright and full of people I don't know. I'd lay false trail to a bookstore, though.
  19. Speaking as someone born in 1999, it's possible.
  20. Mostly the Scribbler part. " I'm sorry I said you were hot. It was wrong of me, you're too young. By the way, has anyone ever told you that you're hot." He is sleazy, but like Kobold said, he's not a violent sleaze.
  21. I haven't seen any of the later seasons yet, so I'll take your word on that. He's just annoyingly sleazy, though much better than Deathwish, though in truth worse than Deathwish is reserved for Nighthound and the Trifecta. The Nelson just rubs me the wrong way. Though Post-coke Deathwish matches him perfectly.
  22. My family has recently started watching a tv show called That 70's Show. I'm not too fond of it personally, so I just watch it until I finish dinner and then go to read. One of the characters, Michael Kelso is head-canonized to me as Deathwish. He's also the main reason that I am not a huge fan.
  23. That is ridiculous. She got a Fanta( which is better anyway) and a texting conversation developed to mock her for it. Tunbridge is a really good comparison. Is it even possible for your mother to allow for the ideas of others or does that just float beyond her understanding. Your mother sounds like the type of person I'd flee from on sight. Speaking for the shard, I'm glad that you aren't like her.
  24. For some very odd reason, I have British accent, or so I've been told. I live in the Southern part of the States and have never even talked to anyone from Britain. It's noticeable enough that people often ask about it, and it gets stronger when I'm feeling significant emotion.
