Stormlight efficienty or a different Stormlight holding cap maybe

Actually the Pits were the main and easier way to go in and out from Scadrial. The worldhoppers managed to build all' the structure for an easy travel through the Black Lake (Perpendicularity's name) Probably the Perpendicularity itself still works as fine as before but Kalsier could have caused a collapse of the Pits belove and the Lake was inaccessibile or sealed by falling rocks.

This is not possible both for In-world and external reasons. The Shards don't know what the Beyond is, Sazed is not an exception. The Beyond is the no-returning-point, if someone could return, the Shard will know it much more if this someone is literally a Shard's creature. Instead the Soul itself is recycled when someone dies. On another point, Bradon told he would never explain the Beyond's nature

In One of Dalinar's vision (the Purelake One) we see some Squires use Stormlight and the text seems to imply they were not Windrunner's squire

Maybe I misread what you write but Shade isn't more self-aware manifestations. It's the opposite, Shades are less self-aware manifestations than the standard Cognitive Shadow. About the "deliberately" yes you could become a Shade if you want. You need only to go in the forest and break the Simple Rules near a Shade. It will kill you and turn into a Shade...not rituals required. This is the reason I think Nazh refer to being other than the Shades. He talk to his Shadow as an honor and with resprect. Not the Therenodite attitude with the Shades. Much more, I think Nazh is too old to know the Shade as the modern Therenodite discovered them quite "recently" (a couple of generation before SfSitFoH). But you have right, I can't be sure

From the @The One Who Connects 's WoB and some dialogue in Edgedancer seems that solid Investiture have to be metallic in nature everywhere in the Cosmere. Scadrial's magic is linked to metal so it could use the Solid Investiture AKA Godmetals....but this is all

Acutally he says "Shadow" not "Shade" so He probably doesn't talk about become a Shade (a subset of Cognitive Shadow) but a general Cognitive Shadow.

I don't think. Odium seems to arrive on Roshar from his own to take down Honor and Cultivation....The WoB seems suggest that Odium wanted Ambition dead to avoid a rival but his original plan was destroyed when he was trapped on Roshar. No explicit connections between the two events...Honestly if a weakened Odium arrived on Great Roshar System I imagine H&C would simply crush him

They have a soul for sure as everything in the Cosmere has a soul. Much more as living beings their souls are more Invested than objects' ones

I am with Weltall here, I think the Soulstone is simply a good carving tool without nothing strange (Realmatic) in it. I am strongly aganist the idea of Soulstone==Godmetal as it doesn't fit with the basic proprieties of a godmetal...to have metallic nature.

Simply Wyndle was about to bond Ym to make him a Edgedancer, He was sent to Lift and another Spren...a Truthwatcher's one found Ym as a good truthwatcher's candidate. Simply Ym was a good candidate for both orders...this could happen

As I tried to tell you before, that idea of the Resonance has fallacies at his main concept as mostly all the Resonances we saw don't affect directly the Surges (or they didn't affect the Surges at all). We don't know deeply the Resonances, but what we see allow us to figure something of them PS: Is Shallash the one who destroys art, but it isn't really relevant here.

TLR didn't bother of the rest of Cosmere. I really doubt he sent Kandra on the outside.

At the moment no, but I am sure you could find an explaination on AoL's annotations in Brandon's site and in the AoL's chapter with Wax's plan to catch Miles. In that night the Mist arose (in Era2 the Mist are no more an "every night" phenomen). It's not actually the fact He don't know where it is (or at least is a part of it) to diminish him. The fact is Preservation cutted/ripped a portion of Ruin's power so now that power also if it is still Ruin's power is no more Connected to Ruin as the rest. I think you could imagine it as a cutted finger, it is still your finger but you are no more control over it (unless you have some superpower I don't know). The Shards are mostly in the Spiritual Realm (I don't know how much do you know of the Spiritual but for now you need only to know the Spiritual Realm is location indipendent so everywhere is the same place), for a Shard have pieces of his power far from each other is not really a problem because they are still connected to him. Unless someone rips them from you....Now the Power is no more part of your central hub and you are diminished. Maybe I wrote too much, anyway Preservation ripped a piece of Ruin's Power (I suggest to discharge the "body" metaphor as usually it makes only mess in the fresh minds) and sealed away Ruin's itself (strictly spreaking Ruin wasn't really locked somewhere, simply Preservation puttes in places an auto-counter mechanics, everytime Ruin tried to do things, the "Prison" autocounter it, but again this is tangential to the topic) and Preservation created the Pits or to be more precise a place where the Ruin's stolen power becomes solid in Atium form to make possible to spread that power in a place where Ruin could not easily find it (I think the first thing Ruin's did was to go to the Pits to recover whatever amount of power was still there). The power itself return to the source, the Investiture can't be created or destroyed. The same thing happens when an Allomancer burns regular metals, they use the metal as a gateway to tap from Preservation's power but this drained energy return to Preservation after a while. Same thing when Vin uses the Mis or every user of the Well of Ascension did with the Power of the Well. The Perpendicularity's topic is a bit tricky because we don't know too much of it. But you imagine a close system where the water make its trip (of course the water in our case is Investiture) and in some places the water slowly accumulate over time. It's a side effect of a Shard's investiment. The System is filled of Investiture and in some places that Investiture leaks and gathers. I indirectly answer to this before, Ruin isn't properly trapped at the Well, simply Preservation putted in place a system of auto-counter to Ruin's actions. It's mainly as you saw with Vin's Preservation aganist Ruin. Where they counter each other action, simply Preservation's Prison did it automatically. ok, again I think I already answered to this before. It's because that part of ruin's power was ripped from him. It's no more Connected to him and not strictly part of him. He could assimilated again in himself once found. But for him in the Mistborn's trilogy is something external to his being (the cutted finger metaphor). Harmony for now inherit the powers of Ruin and Preservation, the powers becan to link and merge when he picked up and maybe over a long time they will become one. For now Harmony showed us mainly the two Powers of R&P under the same guiding Mind. - He could manifest Ruin's Mist or Preservation's one, this mean those Investitures are still mainly separated in him. - He could read people's thoughts and comunicate to the madmen or the spiked one (and control them with enough Spikes) - He is metalblind (but honestly this isn't a inherit features, everyone who watch the world from where He is, would have the same problem). - Under the same mind the Ruin and Preservation's powers don't react to each other violently. A Spiked one doesn't repel the Mists anymore. - If Sazed was killed, He would drop Harmony as a single Shard, not Ruin & Preservation....An effort would be need to split them again. Honestly this is all I could think about Harmony in relationship to Ruin and Preservation. EDIT: I manage to find the AoL's Annotation:
-
We don't know about the first and I think cutting a Kandra and a Mistwraith is mostly the same thing
-
There aren't Ruin Mist, or at least it will be Ruin's Mist but Ruin had no reason to send them, Preservation left the Mist as part of his plan. You could see a small amount of Ruin's Mist at the Well (to be more precise in the chamber near the well) because they coalescence near to the owner. Notice that now Harmony sends both Preservation's Mist and Ruin's Mist at night Solid form of Shard's power didn't happen naturally, so both Lerasium and Atium exist for a purpose. In the case of Lerasium we don't know the reason Preservation or someone who used the Well made it originally. The Atium's production is a trick Preservation performed with the Ruin's stolen Investiture. The idea was to make this stolen power solid and hide it for Ruin. The amount of Atium and Lerasium are different because they were created to different purposes. Ruin's perpendicularity (in the same way as the Well is Preservation's Perpendicularity) was somewhere below the Pits of Hatsin. It was moved underground from Rashek, originally it was on surfice, it was called "Black lake" in Alendi's journal and when Alendi and his companions arrived too near to it, the Mist Spirit killed one of Alendi's friend to make them run away. I assume you talk to Atium, once burned the Investiture who make it is released and over some time it return to the source. The same thing happen to all form of Investiture. So The Mist burned by Vin or all the Preservation's power drained by the Allomancer to performe their magic. This is an error, there is no link between the Investiture's state and a specific component of the Shard. The Mist, the Well and the Lerasium are the same thing in different states. It's not something like Liquid=Cognitive or something like that Ati could not see the metal, or to be more precise to him the Metal is too blight and it actual blind him, this happen to all kind of metal and it is a phenomen shared with Preservation. It's the reason the letters write on metal were safe from Ruin. I don't understand this one, if you could expand it better, maybe I could answer to this too

Unless the pools are removed, Devotion and Dominion's pool have to be still on Sel. You may notice also that Roshar has at least two Perpendicularities. On Nalthis the thing is right, because only Endowment is there

So for you Szeth was restricted to protect people? The Fact is the Honorblade doesn't force you to follow a path or an attitude and the Heralds too had the same resonances of the Radiants. In the end Surgebinding at all isn't about an attitude, the "tool" a KR gains Surgebinding is related to an attitude because the Randiant Spren has its preferences and purposes With this I am not saying Renarin's visions have to be his resonance. Simply I wanted to make you notice how your idea has some problem at its base. It could be good or not, but for now the little we saw seems aganist it.

I didn't understand what your doubt is...But if you want some clarification, you could try to post your question in the Q&A section. Maybe someone could make that doubt clear
-
@Beatsmorn except the Divine Attributes themself are not coded into the Magic but they are an interpretation of the Heralds' actions and the Radiants Spren follow that Pattern. Notice also the theory you cited is fault in his permise di I suggest to not take It as base for something else (in general don't take a theory as a base for something else...Much more if It's a debated theory) :-)

Indeed this is an interesting point.

Probably you will able to create a Human being with the same Mistwraith's Cognitive block (of something really similar), unless you win the Genetic roulette and you manage to pass down the Hemalurgy's effects (also if I think it's impossible for a Kandra to pass down a side effect of Hemalurgy) I am more interested in the crossblood Kandra-Human baby. He has some chance to inherit from both his parent and maybe to dump or lighter the Cognitive block....Honestly you could in theory have a natural Kandra.

Adonalsium 3.0 and the theme of Resurrection
Yata replied to ZenBossanova's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Sure if you are in one of the few places where a Shard decided to Invest into. But as I said you didn't talk of "avaliable investiture" before ;-) -
Adonalsium 3.0 and the theme of Resurrection
Yata replied to ZenBossanova's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Yeah if you consider the Adonalsium influence as Cosmere wide you may notice how also with 16 times the power of a Shard (or a bit more than that to be honest) the average level of power is less than the actual Major Shardworld (who are less than 16). Notice this could be caused not mainly from an absence of Investiture (I think a Shard alone could provide almost unlimited Investiture to the whole Cosmere) but mainly for a Connection issue or other Realmatical Reasons -
Yeah...except that maybe their Soul doesn't actually fit their body (something relatd to their shapeshifting abilities) ot it's more loose connected to a specific piece of flesh, so they could reconfigure it. Honestly I don't know, I remember only that Shardblade would be really less dangerous to a Kandra, but I don't know the reason
