  1. Yeah but we don't know if it something intrinsic of Preservation or If Preservation arbitrarily choose the 16 (maybe because it's linked to Scadrial itself).
  2. Probably the "number" is something linked to the Shardworld not to the Shards.
  3. Yes he need a way to "Seal & hidden" Ruin's Power (therefore a "physical material" as Focus) and to leave the Prophecy.
  4. It's true, many Sharder posted very cool options. The "Hemalurgic-Army Builder" is my favorite (but I am unsure that may really works) To be honest I hate the "zombie Apocalipse scenario" it's too unrealist to me (not the Zombie itself but their "winning" in such Scenario).
  5. Probably yes, a Drab would be more susceptible (both a Nhaltian without a breath and a survivor of Hemalurgy). But not every Magic System is compatible with everyone (Drab or not Drab), for example a Drab to me is a good candidate for a Nahel Bond.
  6. I have a theory to a "new shard" resulting in the Merging of Devotion and Dominion, but AFTER their Splintering and the Dor is actually the "body" of this new Shard (that I call Unity) without any Holder. To me the really difference between the cases of Roshar and Sel is that on Sel there isn't any other Shardholder to separate himself from the Splintered Shard. While on Roshar, Cultivation is a fully living, full minded Shard.
  7. Is an unstable Shardblade, poor Nightblood
  8. Thenody has the peculiar to have Cognitive Shadows twisted in Shades and if someone were killed by a Shade he became a Cognitive Shadow (and of course a Shade). Answer to the Spoiler:
  9. Well .... in the end, yes
  10. Ha had a great (and unique) ability to separate a Channeler from the True Source (but I can't remember if he may do this only to a Darkfriend). Without this ability He was just a big Fade with many problems, for example he may left Shayol Ghul only for little time and more time he was far from that place, more weak he becomes.
  11. Now that I thinks about. If Ruin and Preservation created Scadrial and Preservation is very good in the Future Sight. Probably Preservation created Scadrial to have a planet with Metals as Focus to his Masterplan... O.O
  12. To me Nightblood can't keep the consumed Investiture and the leaking smoke is exactly that but in a twisted form. Nightblood is an Endowment's being and "take with force" is just the opposite of his Mother-Intent.
  13. It's my reason in choosing a pure metal for the Allomantic power
  14. Yes but if I remember right, it took long time. A Shardpool is something like "Shard leaking in that place on the Physical Realm"
  15. At the Shattering every Shard had an equal amount of Investiture. All Shards are quite allmighty, but their Intent limit them in how they can use it the power of Adonalsium. For example Preservation was better than Ruin in future sight because his Intent is more compatible to the future than Ruin. For the same reason Preservation is capable to move a Planet but He can't destroy a single being with his power. A Magic System is the mortals' interpretation of the Shard's power invested in a ShardWorld. And are something like: Shard's Investiture+Shardworld's Focus= Magic System. When many Shards are on the same planet the interaction between them creates "hybrid Magic System" (As Feruchemy that arose from both Ruin and Preservation).
  16. it's impossible, he feared the mix of Allomancy and Feruchemy. He enslaved his own people to avoid that.
  17. It'an hard choice. I am sure to want to be a BendAlloy Ferring, but about the Allomantic side, I am unsure. I will choose to be a Steel Misting for the same reason of Master_Moridin, but in that context it will be hard to find a decent amount of burnable steel (as all other alloys). with this information, Iron is a good second choice. Therefore I will be a Iron/Bendalloy Twinborn. If we may add a Spike, mmmm maybe Feruchemical Zinc or Bronze.
  18. Something like: - Plants: Effects - Cooking method: Modificators to the effect It may be after all
  19. But the Stonewards are one of the two Orders that we directly see breaking their Oaths (together with the Windrunner) during the recreance.
  20. I suppose that from the third Book, the Stormfather will be 24/7 here to guide the HighStorm to avoid the complete wipe out of Roshar. Because ok that nobody is ready for a Storm that come by the wrong way, but they can survive quite well to it, once they know of the Everstorm. Just the first time they may suffer great lost.
  21. And while Prof passed his time only with other Epics, He probably never discovered to be a Gifter, until for some luckly/unluckly case, he gifted some of his powers to some not-Epic. He may discovered his Gifter nature only many time later.
  22. I meant that Nightblood decides if you are a good guy or bad guy with that criteria.
  23. Actually that is just a Nightblood decision. The Blade can't know the difference between good and evil, therefore It decided that anyone who wanted to pick up and use it is "evil" and the other are "good". Mistborn Spoiler
  24. I always assumed that is because, Nightblood is a "living paradox". It's not a perfect (stable) Spren and it need extra Investiture to work (for example Nightblood has not enough Investiture to be both a Sentiet being and a Blade who cuts on all the realms at once). At this point there isn't still the paradox: Therefore Nightblood feed of near Investiture, and it tried to drain Investiture. But Nightblood is made by Endowment's Investiture. Take for Itself, it's a thing aganist his own being. Therefore Nightblood can't add the stoled Investiture to his own and reject it in a Twisted (and Dangerous) form.
  25. Well there are some similitudes. But I really don't think there is a "strong" correlation, maybe just the same (or similar) phenomenon that occours on both independently Shardworld.
