  1. Awekening uses color like fuel...therefore draining more color I suppose give to the create Liveless more "efficience". Maybe the Command works better and you have need to use less breath or maybe your White Lifeless may keep moving for more time after being hurted.
  2. Sorry but this post make quite no sense. We can't know if Voidbinding may be feeded in Stormlight or not. As far as we know every magic system may be fueled by any form of Kinetic Investiture with different compatibility. And in the end also if everybody seems to think it. We have no proof about Stormlight to be Honor & Cultivation's Investiture (for example I still think it like pre-shattering Adonalsium's Investiture left on Roshar)
  3. In a WoB Mister Sanderson said that we didn't see Voidbinding yet, therefore the Listener's Form of Power aren't Voidbinding.
  4. Really ? I have to missed it... thanks
  5. Yes, but we don't know if the same thing happens with Spren, something like "A Surge/pair of Surges at their core is a Splinter"
  6. Confused I believe to have found a counterproof to your Theory (and if I am right, it's a really waste because I like it) unless I have simply misunderstood some concept (therefore I made a fast explaination of how I read your post). In your Cosmere's model the power of the creation and the Investiture are two distinct things and the power of Creation may be converted to Investiture but the Investiture can't be return to be Power of Creation. Splinters are made by piece of Power of Creation while things like Breath are simply amount of Investiture. The problem is just here: We know of someone who manage to build a Splinter (and therefore Power of Creation) using only Investiture. I talk about Vasher with Nightblood. Nightblood (a Splinter) is born through 1000 Breaths (a large amount of Investiture) but it's something impossible in your model. Therefore I ask you.. I missed something or your Model need a revision
  7. I am more about "Shardworld Number" than "Shard Number" but in the end we have no sure proof for both of them
  8. For the same reason of ZenBossanova, because I think plant to be Taldain's Focus... I see well the Taldain's Cognitive like a jungle (yeah I know it's ironic)
  9. Well Vasher can't be more older than 1000 years. In Warbreaker he can't have more than 600 years old (His age is something between 300-600 years old) and between Warbreaker and Stormlight Archive passed not more than 341 years (Stormlight Archive is between Mistborn first trilogy and Alloy of Law). In the end Vasher is Cosmere aware for at least 300 years in Warbreaker and 600 in SA

The same thing will happen if Bavadin was invested on Taldain itself and the Taldain's focus is something like "Light" (also if I have another theory on Taldain's Magic)
  11. Probably it took you so much time to drain a significative amount of Investiture from Harmony that the first "part" of drained Investiture will be already returned avaliable to him. And remember that the Nightblood's Hunger grows as longer it keeps to drain you.
  12. In the end I think it doesn't even matter... If the clashing Intent problem is true... It's Nightblood Itself as Endowment being to be the problem, not the Intestiture-Fuel it takes.
  13. To me we have searching the number in the wrong place. It's have to be deeply connected with the World and the Magic but you have not to find it in every mundane event. For example now I am serching to find any "special number" builded in the Magic System (but we don't know enough), until now I find only: - 3 the Day powerless after Overmastery - 5 the (probably) maximum multipler to your own Sand Mastery Strenght obtainable with Overmaster (it's just a number popped up with our only test subject, Kenton) but we have not many tests. - X (unknown for now) the number of time you may Overmaster.
  14. If I don't remember wrong the problem was about a maximum capacity of the PM. But I think someone (if there is an automatic way)... May create a new topic with a copy/paste of all the reply of the PM
  15. Thanks it's quite sure it's the same person, but I didn't remember if there was an official WoB ;-)
  16. Every metalmind with feruchemical charge has Investiture. The Feruchemical charge itself is Investiture nevermind what attribute is. And we have a WoB somewhere that say Nightblood may feed of a Feruchemical cherge if the holder tap from a metalmind while held Nightblood (same with an Allomancer who burns metals)
  17. We have no proof about the mith of overmastered as true. In the end is possible that no Sand Master have never lose permanently his ability through Overmastery... They just fear it like hell, because the Mastrels created this story to prevent other Sand Masters to discover the truth
  18. Now we have to find what kind of power are useful in that context The Future of Scadrial is in the "Performance Improvement through temporarly Metallic Arts"... Someone may make a mountain of cash
  19. I imagine he wanted to say that Terken was simply Sandling who assimilate some bauxite during their life from the earth. And in the end they have some traces of Alluminium in their carapace, the Sand Mastery seems quite unstable from its own, therefore maybe some traces are enough
  20. If I don't remember wrong, we have an official confirm about Blunt=Baon
  21. We know too little to try to figure how the Cognitive are on Taldain. We don't even know how the magic work there, or what is its focus (for example to me is wood) and this may change very deeply how the Cognitive Realm are there.
  22. To me the sunlight have nothing special (or at least magical proprierty) and the whole ecology/magic is Plant based. My interpretation of how magic on Taldain work, is this: We have some tiny organism in the sand. These organism are plant like and do the photosyntesis. This organism are vital to Taldain ecology, because they are the food of Sandling (and after bein digest some trace of them may grow again with enough Sunlight). The Sand Masters insted put this organisms under mind control, using their own water as "menace" because like Sandling that organism are killed by water. What happen when a Sand Master stop to use the Sand (and it became Black) is about their control over the Sand became no more and the "water put in the Sand are no longer keep separate from the sand itself). In my own opinion also Darkside have plant based magic and more flexible but rarer than dayside. Because while on Dayside only 2 kind of plant life form may survive, on Darkside potentially many species may grow... but of course they have very less light to proprerly grow. Slatrify work with a "humidy control", after all with my interpretation is quite the base of Sand Mastery. To me Sand Mastery is of Authonomy because you use your own vital reserve to perfome it (your water) and pushing to hard with your own limit (in the and you refuse to accept external source) you may improve your control on the sand. PS: I never considerated the Terker like raw alluminium, nice catch
  23. The Ire's tool don't work on a "weak or dead" Shard, simply it make the user elegible to be a Vessel. Preservation had not anything out of place or something like that when Kelsier used the tool. It was simply a full Shard without Vessel bacuse Leras in the end was dead. The Sphere itself worked simply giving to Kel a strong Connection to Preservation, something like people as Vin or Sazed had without artifical boost.
  24. wait wait wait we made a bit of confusion. any Metallic Art may use Metals of every origin. Mundane, made by Shards, made by Adonalsium, made by magic user (if you Soulcast flesh to iron, then you may use that iron as metalmind withou any problem). Like you said the metal is just a gateway for preservation power, but the metal isn't invested in any special case (with the exception of God Metal because that metals are source of power themself and didn't connect you with Preservation to drain investiture). Yeah is's been thorized but in the end, I don't think a Mistborn may obtain more than a painful death. The god metals works because they are compatible with Metallic Arts' focus and they are already quite a Metallic Arts' hacking. To me for example the famous idea of a "gemstone Spike on Roshar" is quite impossible for our knowledge of the Cosmere's Magic... but of course I may be wrong
  25. Shadowwisp to be honest I don't think Nightblood abilities change based on the Investiture's source. As far as we know Nightblood may feed of all kind of Kinetics Investiture, from Nightblood everything is just fuel. And in the end we don't even know if Nightblood drains Investiture from its victim.... we saw only that it feeds of its holder's Investiture. For the moment I think that Nightblood is an "incomplete" (without a better term) being, he can't mantain both its mind and its full power at the same time, and it tries to achieve new Investiture from its wielder (a being with it has a bond)...But in the end Nightblood is an Endowment creature and take something with force is aganist his own nature, therefore it can't keep the new Investiture and release it in a broken form. Probably the Investiture that Nightblood consumes remain for a long time don't avaliable, but in the end the Nightblood's influence will fade.
