I don't think it may work. Because if this is true probably the Stormfather (or other organizated Spren) will already ask to some Human to take the Shardblade into the Cognitive

Two confusions about the Elantris books
Yata replied to Amaror's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
I see how your interpretation is possible, but I think otherwise. I think there was a "first generation of Aonic Magic User before Elantris". They developed the Aon writing with the help of their magical power (at this time no Shaod is required) and then began to understand the AonDor (those AonDor would be weak as pre Elantris Fix) with the improved knowledge. They discovered how to boost their magic and they build Elantris in a Rao-Shape. This began to boost the AonDor and also to change the users. They were taken by the Shaod and began Elantrians. At some unknown time after those "First Gen" left Elantris (I have an Idea about the reason but it's a possible crossover Spoiler) and the someone else discovered the great Elantris already builded... After 10 years among those people we have the "Second Gen" of Elantrians Of course my Idea may be majesticly wrong You have right about the generally opinion, but this idea was quite destroyed by Mister Sanderson himself. Who said that no body figured the Initiation yet (and he surelly know about our main idea) -
Ahahah Nice, I am reading Moorcock's books at the moment and this quote made him gain some point XD

To me an Isotope doesn't work. The Metal's structure is important in the Metallic Arts. This mean that an Isotope would be "read" as a wrong metal (in the worst scenario) or a slight bad alloy (in the best)
-
It's more a matter of semantic. For example to me an Hack it's: "Made the magic works out of its standard parameters". With this interpretation, The Compounding is an Hack that allow you to trick Allomancy to get something doens't belong to it. I am more rigid than that, for example I see the Interactions between the Metallic Arts and the Godmetals as an Hack. But I may see how someone can be aganist my view. Returning to the overpowered Magic Systems... The OP ones are the external Magic Systems, Magic who are fueled directly from an external and almost unlimited source of power (a Shard). In this type of Magic we have: Allomancy, Feruchemy (if the Compound is used) and the Selish ones.

Sharder's Stalking Guide (a.k.a. Geo Tracking 2.0)
Yata replied to Young Bard's topic in General Discussion
I am from Rome, Italy. So far as I know there is just another Italian Sharder -
GreatShells, Gemhearts and Polestones (Word of Peter)
Yata replied to Yata's topic in Cosmere Discussion
If is true, yes there are at least 10 species, but I understood that when the Chasmfields was discovered, the Alethi was happy to find a replacement for the Lanceryn's Gemhearts. This would mean that both Chasmfiend and Lanceryn have Emerald's GemHeart (because we know the Alethi uses Chasmfiend's Gemheart to soulcast food). Maybe it's not clear from the twitter post. But I actually don't know how this may work. I simply tried to exploit the characters' limit of twitter to propose a possible explaination because I knowed that Peter would be simiilar bonded in the answer.- 14 replies

In this post I tried to aswer to a doubt of mine. I thought it was a well known fact that I only missed. The unsure answers pushed me to ask both to Brandon and Peter on Twitter and the second gave me a much more vague answer Also if I don't recive a sure answer, now I know that it isn't something explored in the books and maybe may hide some worldbuilding information about Roshar and the GreatShell's Spren-bond. It's even possible I was right about the idea exposed in my tweet (but I am not too sure about)

say that to Trasformation and Trasport Surges Anyway The ten Suges are (like said) the Cosmere version of our Fondumental forces... But the Cosmere works in the three Realms therefore it's possible (or very likely) those Surges have effect on the realmatic interaction. For example the source of the physical manifestation from a Cognitive aspect may be the Trasformation Surge (in the whole Cosmere) and the Soulcast is simply a trick for hack the standard work of the Trasformation Surges

ok... ok "Yata burns every photo of his baby self, deletes his Social profile and calls his girlfriend to burn every photos of them" .... This have to be enough, I hope

Exactly and you may notice how poorly resurrected are them. The only exception is a peculiar Lifeless who recived a lot of Breath just before died who keep something of his former self (probably for the Imprinting in the Breath that still are in him)

To be honest and I don't want to be rude. We have a single istance of Corrupted Investiture (with the probably meaning of mixed Intent Investiture) as Black and much more with Mixed/Corrupted Investiture without the "turn Black" effect on them. To me this seems to point more to "nightblood's Black smoke is a specific and limited istance of messing with Investiture and don't prove a general Realmatic rule"
-
A Man is made by Soul, Mind and Body. A Cognitive Shadow is made by Soul and Mind (he lost the body and the ties to the physical realm). I really doubt you may resurrect a man without retrive his Soul and Mind....well you may recreate a body, maybe also a living one... but it would be hollow. About the Stormfather, He is the Tanavast's Cognitive Shadow together with another Spren. Maybe the Stormfather is manipulated by the Human's faith and ideas... But this don't remove the point that He is the host of Tanavast's Soul and Mind also if twisted.

@The Honor Spren you are adorable. I have to find a photo of myself but I rarelly allow other to took a photo of me ( the cameras may steal your soul, it's known y.y). But maaaaybe I may make an exception for the forum

@Killik It said that the Stormfather survived the Recreance and He is now Broken (well until he began his new Bond)... This seems to push to "a Bondsmith broke his Oaths and nearly killed the Stormfather but he survived" also because if the Bondsmith kept their Oaths and the Nahel Bond give immortality... The Stormfather would be still bonded with his Knight. Another thing (not stricty related to the topic), Honor died after the Recreance, like the Dalinar's Vision prove it (The Recreance is part of Honor's memory)

Yes the Kandra are actually Mind-Improved Mistwraths, thay may reproduce but they gave birth to a Mistwrath. Those new Mistwrath needs Hemalurgy to gain a fully developed Kandra's Mind

But we know the Stormfather suffered Oathbreaking (and survived) in the past... Therefore the Bondsmith is one of the Order we know for sure to break their Oaths in the Recreance.

Just because mixed investitures turn often black (but probably this happen if those invesiture don't merge well together), this doesn't mean that every black Investiture is mixed Investiture. Like Oversleep said Ruin itself has Black Investiture. Anyway the Connection Orb would not be different if it was made to Connect to others Shards I assume. The Connection aren't made of Shard's power (or to be honest they may be, but they can't made by everykind of raw Investiture). The Ire's Orb probably wasn't made by Preservation's Investiture and for example if a guy burns Lerasium to get a strong connection to (for example) Endowment, this connection would be made of Preservation's Investiture.

I think from a while that Cohesion Surges allow you to operate physich trasformation, like the Soulcast operates chimical-neclear trasformation. Probably Cohesion is a relative low Stormlight expensive surge, instead of Soulcast

The Listener quite surelly start with no form (slave form) and then the parents educate him/her to change form (the more easy to get, probably the dull form)

Well, when a daddy Kandra and a mommy Kandra loved themself a lot....after some time they may produce a new Mistwrath, of course they need a couple of Spikes to turn the new born into a Kandra (it's the same problem the Kandra have to Scadrial, they may reproduce. But they are uncapable of made new Spike without killing someone). A more liberal kandra may go to Roshar an far from Harmony supervision began to made Offspring. But the Timeline is wrong, the Kandra would be too new to Roshar, to be considerate a stable spiece and not some kind of newformed monster. Much more the Kandra are master of disguise and stealth, who did the people discovered them as not human?
