  1. Maybe before there was a Shard on Threnody...or was relevant for other reasons
  2. mmm Probably Connection works like Sense. You may store/tap specif type of Connections.... If I don't remember wrong, the SH's main character listed the type of Connections
  3. Probably because he was always with a surplus of Healing. Every infection was destroyed before he can actual develops...Probably Gold may heal also the diseases but you need much more than other uses. Wayne said the Gold-Healing doesn't work very well with disease (i think it's because the disease itself is another living being and resist a bit the Invesisture)
  4. But actually it's the same thing....She just didn't have to change that because the body was already fine. She has already the need to recreate the whole Emperor's history. I see no reason for her to take a life body and made him dependant of his (possible imperfect) Essence Mark. If for example the Wound's location is part of the Essence Mark and the Mark would be removed(or not refreshed in time) . You really risk the Emperor's death. With her solution if the Essence mark is removed (or not refreshed in time) the Emperor would "simple" become brain-dead again, but some servant may restore him with easy
  5. The Mist snapped people from before the book...they simply began to Snap more intesify in the trilogy (and be present also the day) A noble may be tested as young (beated quite to death) and not developing a power...then go out in the Mist and develops a power. The Mist-Snapping is more powerful than the mundane one
  6. I made 20-25 videos on that mode..it's cool but hard. Good Luck man ;-)
  7. I am afraid but I don't understand the Lightweaves part....feel free to write me a PM. About the second part.
  8. Maybe he uses allomancy with "artificial tools" (to be vague) and he is not an allomancer Spoiler from mistborn
  9. It's be RAFOed before...but maybe as the other 2 Godmetals we saw. It's will steal everything like Atium with some other side effect dependant of Preservation's Influence. QUESTION: Honor was surprised when the Spren began to gift Surgebinding abilities. But He was pleasantly surprised or unpleasantly surprised ?
  10. Actually I think the Bands has "Mistborn power"+"probably all Ferring Power". I actually don't think Kelsier has once again his status as Mistborn but it's meaningless because He had Spook as Mistborn to put the "mistborn power" in the Bands. I don't think you have to Store separately the power (at least if you choose freely to do it). If I am a Mistborn-Soulbearer and I store my Spiritweb. In my NicrosilMind there will be the full array of Mistborn's powers (16 mundane+17 Atium based+(maybe) a lot of more). The problem remains....We don't know if a Mistborn may burn Trellium. To me that WoB doesn't explain fully the Mistborn cases but I may see how other can have another PoV and I have to respect it.
  11. If Brass Feruchemy follows the same rules of other Feruchemical Abilities. You will probably recive some amount of heat resistence while tapping a Brassmind. Not immunity but some help to resist it. If this is true be a Firesoul (if I remember right the name) is the best Feruchemical defence aganist infection or a lot of disease....where the gold doesn't work very well.
  12. No no, I have no WoB. Simply the ability to gain Scadrial Magics through "Spirit-Web adding" is possible to everyone as a tons of Hemalurgy's WoB say. This mean that if the "unsealing trick" has no some hidden limitation, everyone may tap a Unsealed Metalmind (and gain its ability) As possible but very speculative proof, I will post a spoiler from Sixth of the Dusk:
  13. In the era 1 this power were unkown. In the era 2 two of this power are pretty useless (Connection and Invesiture) - Investiture: can be used to store your Spiritweb for a lately tapping again.....Almost always useless for a Ferring - Connection: you may store or tap connection to your homeland....quite uselss in the actual (but this will change soon) social situation of Elendel, where nodoby goes far from the basin.
  14. As @Spoolofwhool it will probably take the same effort to make the Essence mark with the "problem" of a Emperor new death if someone-something delete the Mark from him (or don't refresh it). But indeed your is a good thought about another possible solution to the Emperor's situation
  15. It's possible that the Desolations was "easier" before Spren began to give power to humans....some kind of balance of power. When the Human forces gained more power...Odium was allowed to push more forces aganist the Roshar's guardians (or maybe He learn from the Radiant SPren and developed new method of attacks). Also, every Honorblade was made specificaly for an Herald....Maybe he is the "perfect host" for a Specific Honorblade's Bond. The Blade may work with other humans (also other herald) but it's more inefficient bound (like a Radiant with less Oaths spoken).
  16. Well he is not bonded with a Skybreaker's Spren therefore he may be an "unofficial" member of the order to be generous. Taln is not a Stoneward neither a Radiant at all. He as Herald was gifted an Honorblade who perfome two surges (like Szeth with Windrunner's one)...the Spren who later become Stoneward's Spren imitated him and his Honorblade to give to the Humans the same powers....He was the Stoneward's patron not one of them. Of course is still a thematic character linked to the Stoneward. All the remaining Heralds (of course expect Taln) seem to have become the opposite of their former self (or at least a twisted form). - Shalash is a art destroyer - Nale is a murderous vigilantes who care only to find a legal excuse to kill his prey. - Kalak become a great coward Neither nothing prevent as far as I know an Herald to become a Radiant much more without their Honorblades.
  17. I am exploring the game's mods after completing Afterbirth and all his Achievement before Afterbirth+ will be released.
  18. Sure I wanted just to point that the use of "soil" is still possible inside Roshar for people with peculiar background.
  19. This may be a clue, but we have to notice that is possible this Ardent spent a lot of time outside the Vorin Kingdom as (for example) if He is a diplomatic or missionary. We see other Ardent in the farest places of Roshar as for example the couple on the Reishi Island.
  20. Everyone from every planet may use the Bands or any other Medallion tech. But we don't know exactly how the "Unsealing" trick works....therefore it may be some hidden limitation
  21. we have also:
  22. @hoidhunter I am unsure to fully follow your idea. Do you suggest that the "perks" born from interation between the metals's usable themself withou considerate if they are Allomancy or Feruchemy ? To say: Mistborn, Full Feruchemist, Crasher (like Wax) and a "Steel Ferring-Lurcher" would have the same perk (well at least one shared between them) because they have steel power and iron power ? I am not a big fan of cumulative perks for Mistborn or Feruchemist....But it's just an idea of mine
  23. An object may be inside the bubble's effect OR outside of it. It's no possible the "one part is accelerate and the other no". This mean (probably) that at first someone who try to hit an allomancer in a bubble would feel nothing strange (and from the allomancer's pow the spear travel as fast as outside the bubble) then when the Spear became part of the bubble (But I don't really know when this would happen). Its momentum would be converted in the bubble's standard, the Allomancer will see the Spear accelerate/decellerate as his timeframe and probably the spearman would suffer some loss of controll when his weapon suddenly change his momentum (from the Spearman's timeframe).
  24. Many people think Eshonai would become the Willshaper character
  25. It's off topic but a Lashing is not a "object thrown upwards" but actually a free falling. You don't start with an initial velocity but instead with an initial acceleration (that remain costanct as long as the lash lasts). in the first second after being infused the subject would accelerate (thanks to the accelation of 6.86 m/s^2) from 0 to 3,43 m/s (12 Km/h) on Roshar and then continue to go faster...of course I didn't considerate friction and double/triple Lashes.
