  1. I think what Sparta had was an oligarchy. And yeah, me too.
  2. That's... the best explanation I think I've ever heard. This is true Aww Hey guys wanna see the best thing ever?
  3. Oh, yeah, that's correct. I forgot about that
  4. It's true, we can.
  5. I've never played tabletop role-play before but I once had to step in as dungeon master while a friend of mine (who is an employee at a local game store) stepped out to get lunch. It was an educational experience.
  6. Oh, yes, of course. How silly of me.
  7. Is that an egg... on her head?
  8. And I usually do have a mess on my head. Just not sticking off the top at a vertical angle.
  9. I bought The Eye of the World a few months ago in a little cafe in the nearest town, but have never gotten around to really reading it. I'm at the part where Egwene and Perrin and Elyas have just recently left the Tinker's encampment.
  10. Do you ever just get like, a nice haircut that you like and everything, then wake up only to find it like this:
  11. Well, the Basin has rarely extended beyond its own little area. Possibly out of laziness, but perhaps if they had some sort of faster travel, they could go out and explore more. Perhaps electrum metallions? Electrum/Bronze metallions? To keep work ethic high.
  12. The way I see it, the two are interchangeable. Like, I identify as bisexual, and so does my sister for that matter, but I'd date someone who identified as trans or whatever. As long as they were decent human beings and I was at least sort of into them. ...it's complicated But, as the old saying goes, diff'rent strokes for diff'rent...uh...people.
  13. Actually, backtracking... bisexual, not lesbian. They confirmed it a couple of weeks ago. SOURCE: http://www.comicosity.com/exclusive-interview-greg-rucka-on-queer-narrative-and-wonder-woman/
  14. And she's a lesbian Amazon superheroine. So that's pretty coolio.
  15. Oh, yeah, I forgot about Silence Divine. Thanks!
  16. I, uh, I study spren? And trap them to make machines?
  17. That's how it is here too. It rained for a full three days non stop this past weekend, then it was brisk and chilly, then hot then cold again. Jesus, weather, make up your mind. I know teenage girls less indecisive than this. And... arvo?
  18. They grew too reliant on the bounty Harmony left them and have grown complacent. The whole idea of the Southlanders is that they had to go through crisis to advance as they have.
  19. I was thinking a bunch of humans from various spheres (Scadrial, Roshar, Sel, et c.) and then one, like, listener and one kandra.
  20. "Mr Davar, set impulse power to 30%." "Aye, Captain." *beooo-weeep* "Commander Colms to the bridge." "On my way, sir."
  21. Paul. Wait, back to Storm Trek. The venerable Captain Ernest Cladent leads his trusty crew on the C.V. Neverfar, to boldly go where no human, listener, or Hemalurgic creation has gone before. Like Threnody. No one goes there, psh.
  22. Interesting observation, Sass. Let's keep an eye out for the Inhalation thing from here on. Do you think it's for all Radiants, or just Windrunners?
  23. So, I just finished Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell, which I shall henceforth refer to as Silence, for short. Aside from being an excellent novella, and a thrilling story, I noticed some stuff. For example: Why silver? Silver has never done anything on any other planets. In fact, it's been quite useless on Scadrial. Another thing I noticed: People on Threnody have very basic names, sometimes names that seem incongruous and yet familiar to those of us here on Earth. What if, dear readers (and this is a very big if), what they call "silver" on Threnody would be referred to as "aluminum" or possibly "ralkalest" on other worlds? Also, Threnody seems to be the major contender for the ever-elusive Survival Shard's hiding place, and you can possibly see its effects on the peoples of that world.
