I was under the impression that Friendship automatically went to the smallest house, but I could be wrong. @Archer who picks the House that someone gets Friendship with? Nevermind, it's random. Bold mine. Welcome to the club! I'd offer cookies but they're Spiked.- 849 replies

I kinda feel like anyone who votes Hopper today might as well be evil after a C1 where Hopper didn't use a single vote if he's elim we don't learn much. If he's village it's a waste of a findable slot, whether that's due to Hopper becoming a more active participant or eventually getting pinch hit by someone who can participate more, and we learn even less than any other ML. Eh. I don't think we need to know if Grass is a Prefect today or not. Elims will be kayana if they don't kill a Prefect today, as most of them should be gunning for Protego. I suppose this could be a case of e!TJ shielding e!Grass but that would require the low probability odds of e!TJ getting Friendship unintentionally and placed in the same House of the same player they just NK'd. Also weren't you one of the people that pushed back on me implying we kill a Hufflepuff C1 lol. I know reads change but the 180 is notable. Especially since y'all were worried about a Slytherout and we still haven't killed them- 849 replies

Yeah, it began as a spontaneous joke as TUM had said, but in the moment I decided it would be worth doubling down on to see how people respond. Sorry you were the one that ended up catching a stray but yours was a slot I wanted to feel out better since I'm not in Slytherin, and it felt like a ripe opportunity to see how others might look paired with or against you. I'm not 100% sold on v!you but I think I can buy your votes from a v!perspective. As Archer said, there are no secret roles, although I might as well tease that there is a super secret interaction involving Owl Mail, but I want everyone to be surprised when it happens, so don't bother asking. Regarding the results of it, TUM kinda cut it short. My view of you improved. Grass is probably still V despite Mist's post-death paranoia, even though it's honestly pretty dang sus he +3'd the murder victim and used his strongest votes on two villagers (three if v!coco). It helped spark an interesting TUM/Qian interaction that could either be wolf theater or a actual Qian slip (remember what I said about 99% of slips?). Twin's pop in could be described as wolfy, but tbf I also think that may just be Twin's demeanor by default. Hopper just not voting and then apologizing to Doc is a thing. Shhhh opsec.- 849 replies

e!Coco only works if e!TUM I think. Both TJ and TUM helped approve the rules so I made the fake Auror claim anticipating TUM to play along like he did with my fake Goalkeeper claim in another game, a long long time ago. Here he shut it down real quick (though this is not a blackout game like that one was, so he was justified in calling me out). Butttt it would be kinda funny if I almost gave e!coco a heart attack and TUM was trying to coach her reaction to not give anything up. I don't know if e!TUM jumps ahead for V!coco like that, but v!TUM could have for e!Coco- 849 replies

Oh and Doc, just to add, after I proposed that Gryffindor help me with shenanigans, Ink asked Mint in the House PM if she wanted any positive votes. Mint told Ink to vote according to who they suspect and trust, and Ink said they'd give them the +2 because they had no other idea what to do with it. I don't believe they're paired beyond us sharing a House, unless they were playing wolf theater just for me. And between the two, e!Mint / v!Ink is my impression. V/V is also possible, though. If true we live in a strange world like e!Grass or two pure houses.- 849 replies

Oh right. I should look at Doc's votes. I think we had a mind meld again. There were some C1 posts of his that were very reminiscent of LG110, but he keeps going out of his way to actively solve without prompting and notices many of the same angles I've seen. Possible he was just shaking off the blood. I consider my -3 revenge for his +2 at this point. (2-6) Mint: Doc12 (1-3), Aman (1-3), (2-6) Miss: Doc12 (1-3), Aman (1-3), (1-3) Ink: Doc12 (1-3), (1-3) TUM: Aman (1-3), (1-3) Qian: Aman (1-3), Since you're around, maybe we can have some back and forth to get a better feel of each other. Although I do think you are probably village anyway. If you were elim, would you feel comfortable voting your teammates, either positively or negatively? Would you try to avoid it to limit connective data points? Would you go for the max benefit? Would you do some soft distancing with 1s and 2s?- 849 replies

ED4T: (1-3) Mint: Aman (1-3), (1-3) Miss: Aman (1-3), (1-3) TUM: Aman (1-3), (1-3) Qian: Aman (1-3), Here's an idea. Rather than one person keeping track of the vote count, everyone should just add their "projected" votes to the list of the last person to update it. That way everyone can personally modify the VC according to their preferences, or just ignore it completely.- 849 replies

Taking a break from my 3D modeling project. Really can't stay long but figured this is worth commenting on. I believe I mentioned I filled Gryffindor in on some elements of my plan near the end of the last cycle. I gave them free will to vote as they wished (I said I wanted to save Araris but if they suspected him, I wouldn't force them not to). I was hoping all three of us could coordinate on another target in the off chance there is no Gryffinmole, but I was at work so mostly focused on the thread whenever I could use my phone. I still believe there were better kills than Mist last night but my top priority at that moment was trying to derail that possibility, or at least sow doubt. Depending on the elim team, they might have finalized the order to spite me I still think Mint is the most suspicious of the Gryffindors, but that's mostly based on Ink reading very pure in the House PM more than anything Mint has explicitly said or done. Well, I think it's awfully suspicious Mint withheld her -3 as if to not tip the exe too far away from Araris/me + she used a +2 on Mist, but yeah. ED1T: I do also think there was enough talk about e!Miss Fallen that it's very possible the +3 vote by Mint was to make sure Ravenclaw didn't gang up on her teammate and get her killed, possibly after I brought up going for a smaller House. Fallen withheld her strongest votes as well and also contributed a +1 to Mist. I do personally think certain player profiles would hedge their votes on the margins as to not seem to obvious. ED2T: Oh, and @Through the living Wahr, both @Through the Living Ink and @Frozen Mint can also confirm I PM'd my accurate votes well in advance, other than telling them Coco -3 and Doc -2 (I swapped the two hoping to find a Doc/Coco + Ink/Mint pairing), if you still care about all that- 849 replies

@Archer if someone is alone in a House, can they self-vote for Prefect? Or does it transfer by default (either immediately or after a cycle)?- 849 replies

Yeah I think we can say our village reads but once Archer clarified the Top Child can die with Extra Credit we should be a lot more careful with any positive vote indications The only thing that matters for discussion is who we will kill and we should still be tracking it That said I am on the brink of almost failing a class again so I am going to actually let y'all take the lead from here and hope I die sooner rather than later Actually nevermind, I might request a pinch hitter after I finish my data analysis, probably a better use of my town slot. I just don't know if I will be able to get it done before this turns rollover- 849 replies
